• Sandra (10/5): Estancia genial - Estuvimos muy cómodos en este alojamiento. Tiene de todo cocina equipada, televisión, terracita… pasamos dos noches geniales. Los huéspedes son muy amables y el desayuno que ofrecen está muy rico. Volvería sin duda!

• Katja (9/5): - Het was van alle gemakken voorzien, inclusief eigen parkeerplek, warm water en een lekkere veranda om buiten te zitten. Het appartement ligt dicht bij nationaal park Marino Ballena en de grote weg waardoor het een goede uitvalsbasis is. Eigenaar en zijn vrouw spreken goed Engels en zijn heel vriendelijk!
• Jerry (9/5): - Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. Marisela even checked in when my wife was t feeling well. We are used to having a queen or king sized bed so sleeping in a double was a little bit of a challenge for us!

• Stephen (10/5): A perfect holiday accommodation - Mari is as a wonderful host and could not do more to make me comfortable and ensure I had a great stay. Room was comfortable, well equipped and exceptionally clean. Mari brought me a delicious breakfast every morning, even at 5:40 am to ensure I could eat before traveling. I stayed 11 nights and wish it could have been more. Nothing - it exceeded my expectations in every way.
• Roxana (8/5): Confortable y funcional - El baño tiene ducha, canilla baja y duchador, de manera que se puede higienizar según se requiera. En Costa Rica no existe el bidet (artefacto sanitario de loza o cerámica diseñado para la limpieza íntima personal después de usar el inodoro), por lo que el duchador resulta muy últil. La cochera individual en la puerta del apartamento. Se llega en auto sin problema, todo asfaltado. Tiene lavadero y tender, nos resultó muy útil. La falta de iluminación en el predio. El ingreso por el estacionamiento podrìa estar mejor señalizado, se confunde con el ingreso lindero.

• Sibylle (10/5): Thanks for everything, I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area again. - I loved everything. From the moment I arrived, the hosts helped me locate a forgotten bag. They even sewed some broken items of mine and did laundry for me - all free of charge. I als loved the very comfortable bed and the awesome shower. The kitchen was also modern and everything was impeccably clean. The container itself was so cute and comfy that I totally could live in it long term :). Ah, the AC and TV with Netflix were also great and the location absolutely perfect for me (without a cat everything was in reach, walking).

Le couple propriétaire sont hyper sympathique, on a l'impression de rendre visite à de vieux amis. Ils ont 3 cabañas et, parceque j'étais en moto, ils m'ont réservé la plus intime pour qu'on ne puisse la voir de la rue. Le déjeuner servi à la porte, à l'heure convenu est d'une fraîcheur imbattable. À moins de 10minutes à pied il y aune pizzeria et le Marino Ballena Club. Plusieurs kiosque à bouffe et bières et une piscine Ne pas avoir pu y reste plus longtemps

• Sean (10/5): Lush location where you feel like a local - Very comfortable accommodation. Good value for money. Relaxing garden area outside. A pleasure to sit outside on the balcony and listen to the birds . Feels like a friendly village surrounded by lush natural environment. I only stayed for 24 hours but will definitely stay for longer if I return to Uvita.The hosts- Rudy and his wife are lovely people. Everything was excellent

• Josephine (9/5): - Had a great stay here. The accommodation is very spacious, new and clean. Everything you need is there and you can even cook some food if you want. Olive oil etc. is already provided and there is a supermarket at the end of the street. Breakfast was nice and the owner was nice enough to give me a ride to the bus station the next morning. Nothing really, but do note that the neighborhood is a nice family neighborhood so not the bustling city centre or very close to the national park.

• Manfred (8/5): Ich würde die Unterkunft wieder wählen. - Das Frühstück und auch die Lage der Unterkunft war gut und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Wenn ich eine Lage mit gut beurteile bedeutet das nicht das man trotzdem fahren muss.

• denise (8/5): - Eine einfache aber sehr saubere und zweckmäßige Unterkunft in einem Container. Die Lage war etwas weit vom Strand, dafür aber sehr nah an der Hauptstraße, wo sich Supermärkte, Banken und andere wichtige Dinge befinden. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben bei ihm sehr unkompliziert eine waltour gebucht, die super war. Wir haben tatsächlich 6 Wale gesehen. Die inkludierte Schnorchel Tour war dafür Quatsch. Wir waren 10 Minuten mit Schwimmwesten im Wasser. Wer also schnorcheln will, sollte sich eine spezielle extra Tour buchen. Das Frühstück war auch reichlich und ok. Sehr leckerer typischer Kaffee. Die Pizzeria gleich daneben, war nett und genau das Richtige für den ersten Abend. Alles in allem sehr nett und zweckmäßig.

• Gerti (9/5): Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - Super nette Gastgeber, die meine Tour nach Corcovado mit einer lokalen Gesellschaft für mich organisiert haben. Hat super geklappt. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und flexibel und man kann alles was man braucht fußläufig erreichen. Das Schild am Eingang war etwas von Pflanzen überwuchert, sodass ich einmal vorbeigefahren bin.

• Christopher (10/5): Make sure to say hi to Rambo the gato - Rudy and Mari were fantastic hosts, breakfast was delicious, the apartment in a converted shipping container was really cute and surprisingly cozy-great for one or two people but no more than that, plenty of hot water with a great shower, AC worked well, Netflix account was available and was nice to have. Overall we had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again! Pura Vida! Bed was ok but a little springy, kitchen equipment is a bit sparse, kitchen table didn't have much space, road noise was a little loud but we blocked it out with earplugs, parking can be a little tight

• Jorge (10/5): Estancia perfecta - Estuve dos noches en este apartamento y la experiencia no ha podido ser mejor. El alojamiento ofrece todo lo necesario para sentirte como en casa: está muy bien equipado, impecablemente limpio y cuidado al detalle. Se nota que está pensado para que el huésped se sienta a gusto desde el primer momento. La ubicación es muy práctica, ya que tienes cajeros automáticos, restaurantes, tiendas y supermercados a pocos pasos. Aunque la playa no está justo al lado, se llega fácilmente, así que no supuso ningún problema. En resumen, un sitio que te hace disfrutar aún más de las vacaciones. Una auténtica maravilla. ¡Repetiría sin dudarlo! Me habría quedado ahí a vivir

• Donald (9/5): Friendly place - This is a little Oasis in UVITA great find. The studios are more or less new ..with hot water and ample electrical sockets. The little veranda is lovely to sit out on .and the studio is surrounded by plants..supermarket nearby..and the Frigatta Italian Pizza place is nearby..food there is good..but a wee bit pricy. Ye I will return …staff very Nice ..and I send thanks to Rudy and staff Nothing really ..

• Christoph (9/5): Superb - Standalone Apartment with everything that is necessary. Very friendly and helpful staff. Accomodation was very clean. Hot shower with a lot of water. Even got some avocado for they way! It's a little far from the beach, a car is a plus.
• Joanna (10/5): Exceptional - Really great stay. It is a converted container apartment. New, clean, comfortable and the host Rudy and his wife are great. Breakfast was included and it was delicious and hot. Rudy was helpful in getting taxis and tours. Uvita is a friendly, safe, clean and reasonably inexpensive, place to visit. The whales tail national park is close and lots of whales tours to choose from. I'd like to comment about the remarks a female guest made about Rudy's what she considered Inappropriate behavior. First I'd like to say I never felt any discomfort around Rudy and second I'd like to comment that the Hispanic culture is prone to hugging and friendliness some people may not be used to. I was raised in a Hispanic culture and never felt the least bit uncomfortable. Also, one other small thing. My apartment was near the front of the property and the road. It didn't bother me because I am a very sound sleeper but if road noise bothers you ask for the apartment at the back of the property. . Nothing. Visit was great
• Pilar (9/5): Excellent place to stay - It looks like this is pretty new apartment and very comfortable. Very good hot shower. Tasty breakfast. The hosts very helpful and nice. Lots of TV channels to choose from. Good Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equiped with a good size refrigerator. Very close to Mario Ballena National Park.

• Tina (9/5): Cozy, chill place with good breakfast - Very nice place, with a comfortable bed and most kitchen equipment you’d need. The hosts are super nice and made very good breakfasts for us each morning, also traditional tico dishes (it was included in our booking). We could rent bikes but decided to walk around: about 20 minutes to the marina ballena national park/beach, 5 minutes to a small store and pool club, 10 minutes to a big supermarket and a short distance to what felt like more «sentral Uvita» with more cafés etc. We also walked to the waterfall which took around 40-50 minutes. The place is right next to a road and you hear all the motorbikes and cars passing by really well, also during the night/early hours. I’m a light sleeper but still this was not a big problem, as I fell quickly back to sleep every time, and I felt well rested every day.

• Richard (8/5): Very good - It's a manufactured mini-studio apartment, with every detail carefully thought through, down to the corkscrew, Netflix, and ice tray. Small but perfectly functional and comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful. For instance they arranged a motorcycle rental for us with pickup and dropoff included. Outside the "garden view" is of the next-door neighbors' junked cars. I guess that can be a positive, if your objective is to experience a real CR community.
