Helena (8/5): Ik heb een hele fijne week gehad in Dubrovnik. - Het appartement was ruim, heel schoon, heel netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt heel fijn om daar een week te wonen. Er was zowel een buiten ruimte in de zon als in de schaduw. Vanaf het balkon had je zicht op zee. Er was gratis wifi, al deed die het niet altijd even goed. De host reageerde direct en vriendelijk als je een appje stuurde of belde. Dat was heel fijn. Er was nl geen communicatie mogelijk via booking.com. Als ik een mail stuurde kreeg de host deze wel. De mail die ik via Booking.com terug kreeg kon ik echter niet openen. Gelukkig had ik het telefoonnummer van de host en nam hij meteen de telefoon op toen ik er voor de deur stond. Slechts een kleine 20 minuten de berg af (lees, de trappen af) tot het oude centrum, nog geen 10 minuten naar beneden tot een kleine supermarkt. Ik was er niet op voorbereid dat het appartement zo hoog op een berg lag (325 treden tot het oude centrum, omsloten door rechts en links hoge muren) Dat was even schrikken en even wennen. Daarom was het veiliger om de bus terug te nemen savonds, welke er lang over deed. Bovendien moest je vanaf de bushalte op dezelfde weg lopen waar de auto's 70 km per uur reden. Er was geen voetpad vanaf de bushalte. Verder vraagt het appartement wat onderhoud: kraan in de keuken lekt, mieren in de keuken, gordijn in de slaapkamer hangt half los van de rail, licht boven het fornuis en die op het balkon werkt niet en als je wilt koken moet je geduld hebben want het duurt 5-10 minuten voor de kookplaat warm is. Niets dramatisch, wel aandachtspuntjes.
Jessica (8/5): Lovely view from balcony - Huge apartment! Lovely little balcony Distance to old town! If any issues with steps, walking etc wouldn’t stay. If fit and able is grand! There was lot of ants in kitchen!

Satu (9/5): Happy days at Dubrovnik - Spacious, wonderful view, quiet place, good beds, good kitchen, Nice, helpful host and reliable transfer, feels secure, enough hot water If you have some problem with your health you might have problems with lot of stairs going down to old town and back. Anyway you can go by taxi.
