• Noe (8/5): - The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The location is perfect, in the middle of Navigli, the place has a very typical patio of Milan, the bed was comfortable. There was no coffee machine only the typical Italian coffee maker but it is not very practical if you are alone for one night since you need the bag the ground coffee

The address I got via email was incorrect — it was about a 10-minute walk from the actual place. The property photos are also misleading — they show a balcony, but my apartment was on the ground floor outside the main entrance.

• francesca (6/5): È un posto per una persona o per una coppia che intende usarlo solo come posto letto per una notte. - Il monolocale è molto pulito e nuovo (c’è già qualche lavoretto di manutenzione da fare ma…) nel complesso la mobilia è ancora in ordine. L’arredo è gradevole. Il letto è confortevole. Silenzioso, in un cortile interno. La posizione è comodissima: a 2 minuti da metro e tram di Porta Genova. È davvero un monolocale (tutto in una piccola stanza) attrezzato con il minimo sindacale! Veramente 2 bicchieri in vetro, 2 piatti piani, 1 mestolo di legno,… tutto misuratissimo. Il tavolino non è invece accettabile se metti 2 piatti non ci stanno un’insalatiera (che per altro non c’è, io ho usato un piatto fondo) …) e una caraffa per l’acqua: devi scegliere se l’una o l’altra!

• Ondra (9/5): Superb - Near the Navigli was a delight. A typical Milanese apartment. A very good experience. No frills , basic and well equiped. I forgot to check whether theres a lift. No. But actually it wasnt too hard and staff helped with bags. No regrets.

• Zhanna (7/5): Good apartment but not worth value for money - The apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. In cold days you can switch on the heater. Breakfast is you’re given coupons for a croissant and a coffee in any of the 4 cafes around. You have to carry your luggage yourself on the stairs to the second floor. Bad impression about this booking was that the host accepted payment via card but reported to booking that my bank card was invalid and my booking was going to be rejected in the app and I couldn’t leave any review. The host just didn’t want to share income with booking.com. But I disputed this case with customer service and provided payment evidence. However they were very responsive on WhatsApp, advised good places to eat and visit. Location was perfect, in Navigli near Porta Genova metro station and tram stop, the river and plenty of restaurants are 5 mins walk. In general I don’t think this accommodation is worth value for money as we paid 720$ for 4 nights for two. No photos were taken as I thought I wouldn’t be able to post my review.

• Fabrizio (7/5): Very good value for money - The room was clean and nicely furnished. I really appreciated the welcome bottle of water. Strong wifi. Very good location as it is opposite Porta Genova and very close to Navigli. The room is located in an old and fascinating building which, despite the proximity to a busy road, is rather quiet. The room had a strong smell and kept the window open for a while to air the room. The boiler was very noisy and I couldn't sleep very well. The check-in was very unusual and for a while I thought I had been scammed. I was requested to go into a restaurant, waiting 10 mins for the key to arrive, then a girl left a bag and a staff member of the restaurant gave me the key and took the payment. I found it a bit dodgy...

• Holger (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and calm apartment, even so it is very close to the vibrant streets and channels. You feel like a local. Good options/partners for the breakfast. Parking is a challenge, but this has nothing to do with the apartment, it is just situated very central in a busy area.

• Emma (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very clean and well-equipped with amenities like bottles of water and wine, a coffee machine with capsules, tea bags, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small balcony perfect for enjoying coffee. The owner is very kind and communicates quickly via WhatsApp. You'll also receive vouchers for a coffee and croissant breakfast at a nearby café. The area is lively with many restaurants and cafes but the apartment itself is calm and quiet with no noise, very good point. Note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. I’m keeping this apartment for my Milan trips and would recommend it to friends. All was good. However, if can suggest an improvement it would be dark curtains so no light go through in the morning.

• Iulia (7/5): A nice stay at Milano Apartments, however nothing deluxe. - Room is spacious and has everything one needs for a short stay, including kitchen utensils and iron. Host is pleasant and reachable whenever needed through whatsapp. Public transport is within 5 min walk. Breakfast is just coffee and one brioche however, 2 of the cafes where it is offered were actually very nice. Heating boiler which is installed in the room is very noisy. There are few things in the room which have to be fixed, such as small holes in the bed linen, etc. We were offered complimentary bottle of sparkling wine which was very nice of them, but unfortunately it has exploded in the room without us touching it, which turned into a unpleasant surprise, luckily we were not hurt.

Nearby are many restaurants and bars. The kitchen was equipped well. The breakfast was provided with vouchers that can be used in 4 restaurants. The living room area could be arranged better with more sitting.

Amazing location, clean and well equipped. - The property was in a fantastic location, a 2 min walk to the metro and close to some great eating places and bars. The apartment was lovely, very clean and well taken care of. It was up two flights of stairs and in a quiet courtyard. Breakfast was included and we had a lovely coffee and delicious pastry each morning. The shower was fantastic and the kitchen was well equipped. We were a family of four tall adults with 4 big suitcases plus hand luggage. The apartment was very small for us. Our beds were all in the one small room that was also the lounge and kitchen. The online pictures look as though the apartment is actually larger than it is. This apartment would be perfect for a couple.
