Guest Reviews
- Helen (6/5): Understand the power outage but very cold no extra blankets, no candles or torch. Couldn’t light the - Location No milk, sugar. No bathroom products. No blankets. Would have been nice if a little pack of something was left for guests maybe bread butter and jam.
- Rebecca (7/5): Overall good for a quick trip - The tiny home had everything we needed The tiny home could be improved by adding in some more shelving in Bathroom and main area.
Also recommend adding an air freshener to the toilet, as it does have a smell when you open the hatch.
The outdoor area needs work (understand the weather has impacted) but making some longer term repairs would make this area amazing.
Also check the gas bottles as part of your cleaning checklist, it was empty on arrival - thankfully there was a spare.
- Eboni-lou (10/5): -
- Guilherme (7/5): Good -
- Seoyoung (4/5): Disappointing - Firewood was provided along with some little branches as well for starting the fire.
Wollombi town has some good cafe and pub to go with pets. - Location: we were surrounded by 3 houses within 10-20m around us. Tiny house has windows all around, sobno privacy. From the toilet seat you can see the house next door. Our usable outdoor area was only around the fire pit, as the grass area was too close to other houses and other cars were parked right outside the tiny house.
- Cleaning: bin was already full when we arrived, pillows smelled bad so we didn't use them. Outdoor seats around the fire pit was way too dirty we could not use. No hammock either.
- Toilet: must've forgotten to empty after our previous guest. Toilet was full on the second day, and the water ran out so we couldn't flush (we arrived at 4pm on our first day, and second day we were out from 10am till 4pm so it was definitely full before we used the toilet). We could also actually see the toilet was full down the hole.
- Amenities: cooking oil, hand wash, body wash etc. were shown in the photos but there was none. Hand wash bottle was empty.
Don't recommend to anyone expecting a 'natural retreat'. It's more like camping on someone's backyard.
- Renee (9/5): Superb - Just letting you know the shower drain was blocked with hair and the bathroom flooded until I realised what the problem was.
- Maria (8/5): One of my happy places - The location, cleanliness & amenities. The hot water is a challenge.
- Brenda (5/5): Disappointing - Secluded A bit messy - there had been storms and this was mentioned but the outdoor furniture was filthy and unusable. Coffee was dusty and rock hard - really old
- Daniela (4/5): Disappointing - The location was nice That we had to bring our own toilet paper, cloth for washing dishes, no shower soap even though it was advertised as available, same for needing to bring our own coffee, milk and water. The bed was awful to sleep in, towels provided were brand new and never washed before use.
- Jackleen (8/5): Very good - The trek to the accomodation was steep. Since we arrived at night and there were no lights it was difdicult to see thankfully we had tiny flashlight. We were a bit confused regarding the hot water but thankfully the host was very helpful.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb - Nice and quiet
- Asheeka (10/5): Exceptional - Driveway to the house is pretty poor for a sedan
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location
- Gabriela (10/5): Lovely tiny house with great facilities - Property was great N/A
- Agatha (10/5): 100% recommend was a beautiful stay - Everything was clean, cosy have everything you need for a beautiful weekend away The wood for the fireplace was wet and we couldn’t use it

- Gschweeger (8/5): Wonderful experience to stay in a Tiny House. - The pure idea of a Tiny House is wonderful. The town of Wollombi is very nice, especially on a weekend. Everything is well organized. The night is quiet. WLAN works well. We hoped to be more in the nature, but this Tiny House is squeezed between two gardens and a small road. No kangoroos in the morning ;-) The fire place outside needs some care.
- Pauline (9/5): Great place for a weekend away - Cute and comfortable tiny house with all appliances included.
The bed and pillow were very comfy, the cabin was very clean and the location perfect to relax.
The heater/aircon was definitely a bonus ! Nothing major, but we didn't have coffee or tea available, luckily we brought our own.
(However, salt, pepper and oil were available)
- Samantha (8/5): Thank you for the relaxing getaway, filled with nature and tranquility. - The surrounding nature, privacy and calmness. Walking distance to town.
- Raelene (10/5): Love it. -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (9/5): Idyllic! - Kawal tiny home was such a beautiful little property just slightly outside the main town of Wollombi. It was private, modern, clean and extremely comfortable. It was lovely waking to the sound of the birds in the morning and spending the evenings outdoors on the hammock. Loved everything! Would have been great to have an iron as we were attending a wedding. The only other thing that would make the stay even better would be some more teabags and sugar. Overall though we could not fault the place!!
- Tasia (8/5): Overall amazing clean modern tiny house in a beautiful location! - Modern clean private Nothing major just noticed alot of ants, a little tv would be nice too but everything was perfect

- Lizzie (10/5): It's such a beautiful spot. - It's was such a beautiful spot and very relaxing. Just the right distance from town, an easy walk and the locals are really lovely.
I did an online meditation courses while I was there. The WiFi was great, which was really important for me. Being on my own I felt very safe and comfortable.
