Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): - It was all ok, nothing more. Not a lot of eating places within walking distance.
Key box number completely messed up. Eventually rang up and guy used what appeared to be a special access code.
Getting in then possible but door mechanism needed sorting which didn't give us a good feeling that key was correct. Not the sort of hassle you need after a long journey.

- Lynne (7/5): Good - Loved the layout of the house, the location and the light in the main room. The bathroom as also spacious Needs a better clean (cobwebs and random items under beds). Items in wardrobes like shoes and a shirt made it feel half lived in. There were no sheets for the fifth bed and despite being told someone would get back to me on it they didn't. The bed sheets that were there were very old and worn. I think newer sheets and a deep clean including removing old items would really improve what is a lovely property in a great location
- Jo (1/5): We didn’t stay due to cleanliness - owner was accomodating and refunded us when we called him. We booked another locati - We didn’t stay and received a refund after we contacted the owner. Had difficulties getting into the property with a faulty door and the property was dirty and uncared for inside and out. Needs a deep clean and garden tidy up. Location is ok. Cleanliness
Still had a Christmas wreath up in March ?
Smelt damp/musty
Unsafe PowerPoint in lounge room
Dirty surfaces/grease on kitchen tiles
Stained carpets/cushions:/couches
Weeds everywhere in backyard
Filthy door mats
Overpriced for what it was
- Vosper (9/5): Superb -
- Katheresh (7/5): Good -
- Eagle (5/5): Location! Location! Location! - The house itself is nice.
I like that it had what we needed while having a little one with us - Porta cot and high chair.
Early check-in was an extra bonus.
Netflix and tv in the bedroom, also ceiling fans to make our night comfortable.
Perfect location if you're not familiar with Geelong.
Close to all the good things on Pakington Street, and not too far from cbd shopping. The essential items could be better quality.
Pillows, doona, linens, towels, bath mat, mattress etc all were very low quality.
Thin doona, bottom sheet wasn't fitted and kept annoying us through the night, mattress was hard and pillows were thin, but then not sure if that was "you get what you pay for" (still $300 1 night stay)
Miscommunication somehow with their cleaning staff about portacot as well, and after they came back and dropped it off, the front door was accidentally left wide open as we weren't at the property at the time
- Chamari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophia (9/5): Superb -
- Dharmadasa (7/5): Good - location, amneties linen not the best, house had a lot of clutter..
- Cherine (8/5): Family loved it! - Very spacious - nice feel Just needed linen for 3rd child as booked.
- Douglas (8/5): Very good -
- Pheak (8/5): Very good - One of the bed was not a proper bed, instead a temporary which was quite uncomfortable.
- Kellie (9/5): Superb - Comfortable and relaxing NA
- Alison (7/5): We’d love to return but are left feeling a little unsure about safety - Location was great and house had lots of room and was very comfortable. Someone entered the house through the back gate during our stay. Got no response when I asked the owner about it. This was a bit disconcerting.
Also, having old shoes and clothes in the wardrobe isn’t very nice - these really should be removed.
- Tara (10/5): Lovely house in great spot - Beautiful house in a great location. Coffee shop across the road. Communication was great from the owners.
- Cameron (10/5): Awesome time - We love the property very much
- Megan (7/5): It was nice and would stay here again. - The location, it’s was nice and cosy good price. The inside of the couch was dirty with old chips the bed was hard and not enough supplies with the basic things.
- Rachel (5/5): Passable -
- Catherine (9/5): Very happy - It was clean, spacious, warm and had everything we needed for an overnight stay in Geelong. A very spacious shower with lots of very hot water. We were able to check in early which was a bonus. Needs some booklets to explain heater, tv etc
- Rose (8/5): Very good -
- Rose (8/5): We enjoyed our short stay. The kitchen was well equiped and it was roomy for a two bedroom house. - Convenient location and clean. Good size for a family of four. Lack of insulation made it not as comfortable as it could be. Some ornaments were a bit tired and old.
- Esther (10/5): Beautiful home feel - Good location in relation to Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal. Clean and roomy. Fans in bedrooms
- Claudia (9/5): Superb - Location
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (7/5): Good -
- Neerali (7/5): Good -
- Jacqueline (7/5): Good location & met our needs for our visit - Good location. Plenty of space. Not cleaned to high standard. Previous guest clothing in cupboard, under the bed. Oven not clean. Sugar old & crusted over. No hair dryer as stated as available.
- Vicki (8/5): Very good -
- Gim (7/5): Good -
- Jeanne (2/5): Student accommodation at executive prices. - Double glazed front windows helped reduce main road noise. Key box too high for short people to see the code, front steps difficult to negotiate with luggage, dirty carpet and strangers' shoes/clothes in main bedroom, crumpled bed linen. There were dirty splashes on the kitchen light switch and adjacent wall, no ice cubes, despite 6 ice cube containers in the freezer. The AV cabling was messy and the TV reception poor/unwatchable. There were no instructions for the microwave or TV/AV set up, both of which were confusing to use. The soap dispenser in the bathroom malfunctioned after delivering only a droplet of soap and the urine stains on the bathroom floor in front of the toilet were nauseating. This was the final night of three weeks staying in a range of 2-3 bedroom self-catering accommodation and this property was by far the worst and by far the most expensive.
- Alice (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Very pleasant stay - Clean and comfortable From a safety point of view their was some tablets left on a bench
- Jeanne (8/5): We enjoyed a comfortable and convenient stay. - Appreciated the double glazing on the main road. Convenient location. Comfortable beds and luxury shower. Easy car parking and turnaround. Key box too high to see dial and reach easily. No soap in the bathroom. No top sheet under the quilt cover. Toilet roll kept falling off the holder.
- Alana (7/5): Good -
- Zoe (8/5): Great location, good value, nice property - Very well presented; comfortable for our family A bit cold; close to the main road; an animal had emptied the rubbish all over the yard
- Isaac (9/5): Superb -
