• Mahmoud (8/5): Blue Lagoon Villa. Tunis Village - I really loved the location — it’s wonderfully peaceful, tucked away in a quiet area that feels calm and relaxing. The lake nearby adds to the beauty of the place, with its serene waters and stunning views that make every moment memorable. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. Communication before arrival was clear and very helpful, check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall atmosphere was simply heavenly. The insects—particularly ants and mosquitoes—were quite a challenge. While the mosquitoes were manageable with Off spray and Raid, the ants were a more persistent issue. That said, the owner responded very quickly when I reported the problem and made an effort to address it, though I believe the place could benefit from a more thorough pest treatment.

• Ali (9/5): Family visit to Fayoum - The villa was overall well maintained and has proper furniture, with a few exceptions. The garden and swimming pool are well maintained. The weather was nice at the time of our visit, but if it gets a bit more hot, there will be a need for ACs in the living rooms. The lake shore needs attention from the management of the compound. The location is great, close by to Tunis village, restaurants and grocery stores.

• Guirguis (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect with enough parking space, and it's easy to get to the lake by foot! Cleanliness of the place is okay. However, kitchen facilities were quite a challenge, but it didn't affect the overall experience of our little holiday. Service was perfect, and the atmosphere was lovely as well.sure, we would love to go again .

• Shaimaa (7/5): Pleasant stay but a fantastic host - The host Dr Karim and the person looking after the property (Abu Mahmoud) were very helpful and helped us plan our stay. Sorted out everything we needed from transport, safari trip and food. The bathrooms in the property need some work.

Place was a little dirty. Strange stains on the bedsheets. Missing a lot of basic things like floor mats in the bathroom, hand towels, basic things like soap, etc...

• Ahmed (10/5): Awesome villa - Great place, amazing pool and garden, we had an awesome time. Owner (Karim) made sure everything was in order and contacted us on a daily basis. He provided lot of useful info on activities and places to visit. The villa is in a very quiet compound, and only 2 minutes away from Tunis Village. It's also within walking distance from the lake. Highly recommended, and we will definitely go back again. That we couldn't stay longer.

Cleanliness, fridge was not clean, had to clean it before we could put out stuff in. Stains on quilt covers, ( just as well we had 4 to choose from 😂) General cleanliness of rooms Outside seating area, looks grubby, throw some cushions 🛋 on the seating area, they can be packed away after guests have gone General upkeep/ cleanliness is not good , and lets down what could of been a wonderful experience
• Dina (10/5): Exceptional - The villa was so clean and cozy , the owner was so helpful he's taking care of every detail, he gave me a lot of info about the markets and restaurants nearby and the activities , everything was perfect for a family vacation , the villa is only 1 minute walk from the lake but you can also see the lake from the balcony, I highly recommend going there.

Our group of 10 friends had an absolutely fantastic time. The villa was not just a place to stay; it was a home away from home. We were pleasantly surprised to find it so well-equipped; it felt like the owner had thought of everything. From the kitchen essentials to the cozy living spaces, we didn't find ourselves needing anything more. The pool, even in the midst of winter, was invitingly clean, and we couldn't resist taking a dip. The ambiance was exactly as depicted in the photos – serene, tranquil, and overlooking the picturesque lake just steps away. The location was perfect for our group, providing a much-needed break from the city buzz. It was such a warm and welcoming space. It contributed immensely to the joy and relaxation of our weekend. We will certainly cherish the memories made at the villa and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others seeking a peaceful retreat.
