• Irini (7/5): Super séjour, personne accueillante et disponible. Une vue extraordinaire - La vue était incroyable ! Piscine privé ; coin table à manger en extérieure! Le ménage était assez approximatifs (les sols, tables) Toilettes OK ; et SDB OK. Coin nuit ok aussi. Donc le principal top, mais piscine et équipements de cuisine peu mieux faire.

• Maria (8/5): Good value for money - Beautiful view over the ocean,a lot of space and privacy.Loved the bed.Good value for money. Many of the cooking tools could use a replacement-generally the apartment is looking a little tired. Would be lovely with some sunbeds and a rack for cloth to dry outside.And maybe a ottoman/footrest at the sofa.Small things to improve but it would make a big difference. But we loved it there anyway.

• Demian (1/5): - Nothing. Because I was contacted at 3PM on the day of my check in to be notified my reservation was cancelled. In the end, this was a blessing because this place also had very bad reviews on other platforms such as google maps. I had not noticed but there are several pictures there of the bad shape in which the property is. I understand things can go wrong or get damaged, but an arriving guest should be advised on longer notice as soon as the issue arises. Fortunately we found another place in santa teresa which hosted us. My cancellation was done at the exact time of my arrival. I can also add that this site shows up when you look up places to stay in Santa Teresa, but it is not in santa teresa, it is in Malpais which is not as nice and it is not very convenient to access by car unless you have a 4x4. There is no shops/restaurants/convenience stores nearby. And of course the beach is very far away.

• Mascha (4/5): Schöne Aussicht, die Kommunikation mit den Hosts super stressig. - Die Aussicht. In unserer Buchungsbestätigung stand: „Eine Vorauszahlung des Gesamtpreises kann jederzeit fällig werden.“ Daher gingen wir davon aus, dass die Zahlung über unsere bei Booking hinterlegte Kreditkarte erfolgt. Vor Ort machten die Hosts dann allerdings Druck, dass wir schnell überweisen sollen.
• Vivian Tiana (7/5): Tolle Aussicht! Etwas spärlich eingerichtet - Phänomenale Aussicht auf das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang, wobei wir leider einen Baum direkt im Sichtfeld hatten (die oberen Häuser sehen den Sonnenuntergang noch besser!). Die Villa ist sehr geräumig. Der Pool ist sehr schön! Wir hatten draußen Hornissennester. Als wir Bescheid gegeben haben, ist direkt jemand am kommenden Morgen gekommen und hat sie entfernt. Sehr nettes Personal! Die Lage ist gut, man braucht nur 15 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Santa Teresa! Man sollte ein Auto mit 4x4 / Allrad haben, da der Weg zur Unterkunft eine steile Schotterpiste ist. Sehr viel Ungeziefer (vor allem Ameisen - Tipp: keine offenen Lebensmittel stehen lassen). Die Ausstattung ist sehr spärlich - keine Sonnenliegen, kein Fön für die Haare, kein Duschgel oder Shampoo. Nur drei Löffel, ein Rotweinglas und ein Weißweinglas, usw. Der Mülleimer ging nicht zu und der Kühlschrank hat gerochen. Es gibt einen Wasserspender, aber man muss für 17 Dollar Wasser dazukaufen (kauft lieber Wasser im Supermarkt). Wir sollten per Banktransfer bezahlen, wofür wir 14€ Gebühren zahlen mussten.

• Ricardo (10/5): - Está muy cerca de la calle principal. La casa es privada y silenciosa, lo único que se escucha es el mar. La vista es espectacular. Está muy bien acondicionada: refri, cocina, cafetera, sillón y tele. Tiene dos habitaciones y dos baños igual de bonitos con vista. La comunicación con los anfitriones es muy buena. No tengo nada malo que decir.
• Briggitte (10/5): Paseo familiar fin de semana - El alojamiento es igual que las fotos, es bellísimo, con una vista espectacular! tiene muy buena ubicación, el espacio de la casa es bastante amplio, todo estaba limpio y ordenado. Fui con mi hija de 8 años y le encantó muchísimo la piscina, también llevé a mi perrito, no tuve ninguna complicación al respecto. Muy buena comunicación, fueron muy atentos con la información y dispuestos a ayudar por cualquier eventualidad 💯

• מיכל (2/5): Beautiful establishment, bed experience - The view is amazing and design very nicely Sunsets are beautiful from the villa I have visited thousands of hotels around the world, but I have never encountered such terrible service and conditions, not even in hostels. Let’s start with the fact that there’s no air conditioning in the main living area (only in the bedrooms). There’s also no oven, which is an important detail that wasn’t mentioned to us. On our first day, $1,000 in cash was stolen from us. Do not leave valuables in the villa because it seems people come in and steal. We requested to see the security footage from 7 days ago, but we still haven’t received it, with the excuse that there’s no internet. We still didnt get it until now. This leads me to the next issue – there is no internet at all in the place (we stayed for 5 days, and during the entire time, there was no internet, with a message saying it would be fixed soon). Additionally, we spent almost 24 hours without water – something that should never happen at a place of accommodation. It would have been reasonable to provide bottled water or something to help us wash or brush our teeth. And the worst part – when we returned to our villa at night, the pool was filled with white lumps, the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. It was clearly the result of poor pool maintenance and hygiene. Needless to say, we could never enter it again. In the end, we paid for a bed, lack of security, no internet, no water, and poor hygiene in the pool

Algae & dead animals in pool, scabby, broken furniture - bad value for money vs other places. - Avoid, this place like the plauge, we stayed at some other amazing places in town like Mint Santa Teresa which are 5 star compared to this place, they draw you in with inaccurate pictures but was dirty, unsafe and the owners are fraudulent. If interested the issues we faced are below: - The pool had dangerous bacteria see picture, gave us a rash, we then witnessed the water being used to clean tables with - On arrival a mysterious “6% tax” was requested which we hadn’t encountered anywhere else in Costa Rica or Santa Teresa, once challenged twice, it was interestingly then revoked - Martin and Marie seemed to be trying to be devious here they were also strange about cash or card, wonder if the owner knows they are trying to make more from people? - They don’t mention anywhere on the website that you can’t drink the water (again unlike anywhere else in Costa Rica we have been) you then ask for $30 for water to be changed, despite it costing $4 in the local supermarket - Aggressive dogs from next door tried to enter the apartment several times barking, not safe for children playing, this is not mentioned before we arrive - The water machine didn’t work, leaked all over the kitchen and wasted half the water we just paid for and you then didn’t offer to replace the water - Not that we used it much, but the TV remote didn’t work, you said you would replace it, you didn’t and then told us after that you didn’t have spare and just ignored us, this meant we couldn’t use this facility - No body wash, hand soap or conditioner was provided just a cheap shampoo that looked like it had been left by another guest, you can’t shower with shampoo, not what you expect for the price Broken furniture in the living room, - The maid only turned up once in 4 days - Rooms were badly furnished, there was only 2 weird chairs outside, no sun loungers, just a bed in each room with nothing else, so was impossible to keep rooms tidy you had to put things on the floor Don't stay here!

• Alexander (9/5): Beautiful place, I´d like to return, my kids loved it. - The view is amazing, the room was quiet, big, clean, well-equipped, ventilated and with natural light. Big parking. The place is beautiful overall! The rainy season has been rough in Costa Rica, so the access road was not in the best condition, we had some issues with that, but the staff were very helpful.

• Walter (2/5): Too hot to be comfortable. - The pool and the view are beautiful. Beware, there is NO air conditioning or climate control in the common areas and the windows face the sun most of the day so you will be HOT and uncomfortable. The living room and kitchen area were unbearably hot for most of our stay rendering them unusable. My husband tried to work remotely in the dining area but was drenched in sweat after just a few minutes. We called and were given two fans which didn't do much of anything other than blow hot air around. The bedrooms have window units but one stopped cooling in the middle of the night. It was easily over 90 degrees inside according to our iphones. The owner is also very cheap and it is clear he does not want to put a penny into making these places comfortable. They are very sparsely furnished and with the absolute cheapest and minimal items are used. Ikea would be an upgrade. We could not eat meals in the dining area either -- 3 wooden stools for a unit that sleeps 4 is inadequate. So is having only a two seater couch that is falling apart. Linens and towels are cheap and feel threadbare as well. We definitely felt like the owner of this property skimped on providing basics to make guests comfortable. ALL of this could have been forgiven if the owner had at least been honest with us. After one night without fans and a second night with fans that did nothing to cool the place down, we told them we could not stay because of the unbearable heat. The listing clearly said it was air conditioned, which it wasn't. The property manager promised we could leave and receive the remainder of our money back for the days we didn't stay. We moved out on this promise and then the owner refused to issue the refund we had been promised. Beware of this place and this owner.
• Leslie-jane (10/5): Amazing view!!! - We had a really great stay in the hotel, all the equipments were good, and the terrasse with the private pool and the view were just amazing. The staff is available at anytime and very helpful. We really had a few days in paradise 🤩 Difficult road to the hotel but we were well informed of the necessity of 4x4 or ATV.
• Ronaldo (10/5): Amazing stay at this house over the weekend with my wife and 2 kids (8 and 4 years) - We had an amazing stay at this house over the weekend with my wife and 2 kids (8 and 4 years)! The spectacular sea view and the surrounding nature made it a perfect getaway. Marie, our host, was incredibly attentive and helpful. We will definitely return at the next opportunity! Everything within our host’s control was amazing and great. However, the road to access the house definitely requires a 4x4. Hopefully, the local authorities will pave the road in the future.
• Jennifer (10/5): We could have easily have spent vacation indoors with this house! - It was super clean, beds and couch were very comfortable, amazing view, my family and I had a great time we wished we had stayed longer but we will definitely come back when staying in Santa Teresa. Marie was very helpful and attentive with providing recommendations of the area. Ant's won't forgive any second once you place food on the counter and the glass doors have a big ridge in between them so bugs can easily come in when having lights on but I think it can easily be fixed by the property manager, minor details but not bothersome enough.

Some new doors need strips to block gaps in door preventing bugs from getting into the rooms at night. We were told this was to be installed shortly.

We stayed in the busy area before and had much preferred the pea - The view is insane here we didn’t want to leave the balcony. The apartment itself was so beautifully decorated and the pool was a fantastic set up. There were a few instances of bugs but that’s normal for the environment and the staff even provided us with bug spray.

• Linda (9/5): Beautiful, private location overlooking the ocean - The property is completely new and beautifully furnished. You need 4x4 to access the location as it’s a very steep drive up the hill. The apartment overlooks the ocean which is beautiful. Santa Teresa is only a short drive away. Marie and Martin were amazing hosts who checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. We had a few minor issues but they all got resolved quickly. Please bear in mind that air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms but not in the main living and kitchen area. The property is south facing which means it has sunshine all afternoon which is beautiful but also extremely hot. For our preference it lacked sun loungers and also a parasol to protect from the sun during the afternoon.

• Nathalie (9/5): A little piece of paradise - We stayed here one night but would have loved to stay much longer! The view from the living room and infinity pool is just amazing and breathtaking. And when the sun sets this place just feels like a little piece of paradise. There are 2 big bedrooms with both their own bathroom and a big living room. The sliding glass doors attaches the pool to the livingroom. Everything is very clean and nicely decorated Actually there is nothing we didn’t like. The owner just built this place and everything is very new, but if we had to name something to improve it would be a hook for the shower head and maybe soap to wash hands in the bathrooms. But these are just minor things. We would love to come back one day!
• Carla (10/5): Unique, and a view like I have rarely seen - Incredible stay at Les Roches! The view is breathtaking, there is extreme tranquility. The hosts Marie and Martin were super welcoming and helped us book activities throughout our stay. The housekeeper and steward were responsive when you needed something. And above all, a big positive point for the wifi!! It works very well, I was able to work from the villa. Access to the sea is 5 minutes maximum, and the center too. The accommodation is very well located. I highly recommend this place where I had my best vacation. Parking could be improved. And I will recommend putting more forks and knives.

Hook of the shower no have option to put above the head..Verry uncomfortable to shower
• Kristian (10/5): Private pol and fantastic view - Brand new complex with a fantastic view. Nice pool and outside area. All apartments situated in a way that gave full privacy on the terrace. Marie and Martin from Night Conciergerie were very helpful which was a big plus. You need a 4x4 to drive to the complex. The last 300 meters are steep. We had a few minor issues because we were the first to use the apartment. But they were fixed immediately.
