Guest Reviews
- Tanja (7/5): Great spacious house to escape the city life - The garden is beautiful and big, we could see kangaroos which we loved. There were spiders and lizards in the house but we loved it.
The house is very spacious and comfortable beds.
- Matthew (8/5): Great place to get away from the City's Hussle and bushel. - Location was quiet and relaxed for a couple of days RnR
- Kennedy (10/5): - Quiet. Clean. secluded. great location. host was super friendly and responsive and informative. working the bbq was a bit of a hassle.
- Lorraine (9/5): Very good, lovely property -
- Leanne (10/5): Great place to stay. Highly recommend - Great location, close to everything we wanted to do in area. Comfy cottage & fireplace warmed up the whole room. Had everything we needed, quiet, peaceful & serene. Great moon rise while we were there.

- Judith (3/5): Had to cancel second night.Hope refund will be issued. - Location and grounds One bedroom had closed wooden shutters over windows which had been screened as stated in the ad but had no glass in the windows which allowed the cold air to enter.son had to sleep on sofa in cold living room.Stove fire inadequate, five small logs, some twigs and a few sheets of paper. Did not last long…had to walk several feet away to get refill. Lock box fell out of opening and couldn’t be reinserted.tv instructions didn’t work.
Powdered milk in previously used bottle.Had to find another accommodation for second night, …...hopefully a refund will be issued.
Gerne jederzeit wieder! Nichts! Alles wunderbar.

- Des (9/5): Superb - Middle of nowhere peaceful BBQ set up pretty good Happy all round
- Kelly (9/5): Just lovely - The property & house was clean, neat & tidy. Such a pretty presence & has everything you need. Our morning was greeted by a peacock as we had a coffee on the little viewing deck.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Remote and peaceful - Lovely quiet spot. Ideal location to travel to Mary River Rattler. Unusual layout based on Mongolian Yurt. Well equiped if slightly older kitchen. Good covered parking.
- Paul (10/5): Spectacular - Absolutely loved this place. Peaceful and quiet what a place to relax. Watching the kangaroos in the grounds of the house. sitting outside in the evening with the firepit just listening to all the different noises was fantastic. I think the name Wonderland Evo escape is absolutely spot on. If we return to the area again and we needed somewhere to stay I would definitely return here.
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (9/5): Superb -
- Lara (10/5): We weren’t use to all the bugs and critters but we got use to it very quickly, coming from Perth for our first holiday w - The views were amazing, the location was wonderful, the house was cute and cosy , loved the gardens , the Bath, loved that there was wifi including Netflix, prime and on a big tv to , No air con but we got use to it quickly
- Joanna (8/5): Really enjoyed the property and local area. The hosts were excellent and responded quickly to queries. Only negative was - Location, great bush setting, amazing bird song, everything you needed, nothing you didn’t. 20 minutes to Gympie. 1 hour to Rainbow Beach. Generally very peaceful listening to the birds while sitting on the patio or down by the bubbling creek running into the water hole. Nice and cosy and well equipped. Great outlook from the patio. The only negative (completely outside of the host’s control) was loud grunge music from the neighbours (approx 300 metres away, through trees) on Saturday afternoon/ early evening, we went out to Rainbow Beach for dinner to get away from it and it was off when we got back around 9pm. And on Sunday morning there was construction noise (power tools etc) from the house on the other side of the neighbours (2 down). We went out on the Mary River Rattler for the day and it was gone when we got home around 4pm. It’s a rural area so not much you can do. Other than that it was great.
