I like that they gave us clean towels everyday, but there was no need to anyway. they cleaned our room everyday, too. but it wasn't necessary. the heater was working well. :) location is only several minutes walk to the train station and groceries/food. they should change the water kettle as sediments have already hardened at the bottom. they should use stainless steel or glass kettle and not plastic.

• Brando (2/5): Do not stay in this hotel, The room is actually located inside Toscany Hotel but they wont take any assistance if you ha - Too bad , going to the loft beds need to crawl otherwise will hit your head on the ceiling. The fluorescent light right into your face. The bunker bed with table under keeps hitting our head when we stand up from sitting. The area is too small for 4 people. I understand the toilet/bath is on the 2nd floor but going to it walking barefoot is unbearable , as a tourist we normally don’t bring slippers , imagine wearing shoes to take a bath. the hotel should provide slippers but when asked the asian receptionist , the response was rude and cold. Lack of action from the management for any requests.

• Hsin-ying (1/5): Last minute forced change of room. Moldy and cramped room. Terrible service. Don’t book anything from this hotel. - The front desk staff was friendly. But she wasn’t the manager so she was just doing what she was told. The stay was horrible. We had initially booked a cozy room where we liked the lighting and arrangement of the beds. We had our reservation confirmed through booking.com but half a day before our stay, we were told that the room was overbooked and we were moved to a different room. With the given timeframe we had no choice but to accept the new room. The given room was a significant downgrade: the room was extremely cramped, the bathroom was full of mold, the room stank and the whole room had scuffs and marks in all places. The underside of the bed was extremely dusty and the shower water would randomly become extremely hot or cold while showering. To add on to this, the provided shower gel irritated our eyes. The bathroom ventilation vented into the common hall and the communal dining terrace had no lighting besides a street-light. The room lacked any sign of care and the fact that we had no choice but to accept made us feel violated. From the moment we arrived we wanted to do nothing but leave Interlaken.

• Justin (4/5): Disappointing - The location was close to down town. The employees were nice. The rooms were okay. The bathroom had no ventilation and was very hot. There was also mold all over the door and some spots in the shower.
