• chilkoot02 (10/5): Great value for the money in comfortable house - Comfortable home in a great neighborhood. Some great local restaurants and Back Alley Arctic is 2 minute walk away. Plenty of street parking and easy access to bus to downtown. I did not meet the host but they are very responsive and welcoming. Great value for the money! Fine for me, but other may have a little trouble getting up the back stairs with their luggage. Rooms are on 2nd and 3rd floors of the house

• Carolin (9/5): Sehr angenehm! - Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Hosts, großes Zimmer, vollständig eingerichtete Küche die man nutzen kann. Im Zimmer hat man einen Kühlschrank, Stauraum und einen kleinen Schreibtisch- perfekt. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt fand ich die Unterkunft sehr gemütlich und habe mich eher gefühlt, als würde ich Verwandte besuchen- einfach weil sehr viel Liebe zum Detail überall gesteckt hat und man nicht diesen typischen "sterilen/ cleanen" Vibe hatte, was ich sehr mochte :)

They ended up cancelling on me because they said they were scared that I was going to get the police involved if I didn't get my money back. Overall I don't recommend AT ALL Everything. I didn't stay because I was almost scammed as it was supposedly "double booked" although It was likely more the fact they were trying to scAm me. W

The uber that dropped me there mentioned this was not the safest area. It didn't look bad to me (it's a residential neighbourhood, with lovely houses), but I report it anyways.

• Harry (7/5): - very clean, immediate response to my confusion getting in to the building. comfortable warm room. great location with grociery store and restaurants close by as well as bus stops. please explain in the description that there are multiply floors with outside entry doors. I knew my room was upstairs but assumed i would go up the stairs inside so i kept trying the lock on the first floor entry. The mattress needs to be replaced; it sags too much on the left side when looking from the foot to the head of the bed. I figured out how to adjust the radiator because it got far too hot in the room. you may want to add that to the instructions.

La sera sono arrivata tardi e non riuscivo ad aprire la porta, e lei è arrivata subito ad aiutarmi e ad accogliermi. Mi ha lasciato anche dei biscotti, un’acqua e una piccolo pasto che ho apprezzato tanto. Qualsiasi dubbio avevo mi rispondeva subito. Lo consiglio a tutti!!

The room was equipped with almost transparent curtains, causing it to be exposed to daylight throughout the entire day. After I raised this issue with the staff, they indicated that they would take corrective action.

• Maria (10/5): Home within home - The house/property is unexpectedly a house with character. A mixture of vintage and modern that makes it feel homey. Water, crackers and candy/chocolate in the rooms are really sweet. Appliances and consumables (dishwashing soap, coffee pods, sugar) are available (when they are available). Located in an area that offers local businesses. Warm room. Clean. There is nothing big deal to complain about. My experiences were: could not get the Keurig going; needed to move my car after two hours as of city street parking rules.

• Anusha (9/5): Worth the money! Great place to crash near downtown. - The house was located near to downtown. You can walk and go to downtown. Just steps away from the house is aladins pizzeria which is open till 2am daily , so its easy for late midnight snack. Bustop, drugsstore everything is just steps away. Communication with the host was smooth. They would reply in 10-15mins tops. I stayed in room 3 and it was quite nice and cozy for a night stay. I was feeling a bit chilly in the room and messaged the host, and immediately they accommodated me with a space heater. The house is quite and definitely worth the price.

The bathroom could have been cleaned more frequently. There appeared to be soap bars, shampoo and conditioner bottles left from previous guests. These items should probably be thrown out as new guests don’t want to use them. I went for a walk on Saturday morning. When I returned to the guest house, the owner and his son were entering the building. As I walked to the door to enter, the owner asked if I was staying there. He was offensive by assuming that it was not possible that I would be staying there. His manner and attitude left me feeling uncomfortable. His approach was unacceptable.

Lovely and supportive host. Safe neighbourhood. Very cozy place. Big light in the room had switch outside of the room. Inside the room there were another 2 lamps, so it was not an issue :)
