The view in the morning overlooking the rolling hills and mountains was beautiful. The owners were very friendly and the breakfasts were simple and delicious. Dafür umso mehr ein großes Lob für die sehr angenehme und tolle Kommunikation vorweg und die herzliche Fürsorge vor Ort. Wir haben uns für die eine Nacht sehr wohl gefühlt 🙌🏻
• Maria (10/5): A birders paradise with a beautiful view and a great breakfast! - Caladium house should be a destination. We booked this B&B on our way to the airport and did not know the gem it was. What makes this place so unique is that it is a birders paradise. My husband saw many new varieties including a painted bunting, a rare bird.The host’s garden is also impressive. There are plants, trees and bushes everywhere. The name Caladium comes from the 113 varieties of Caladium she grows. We sat out on the patio overlooking the hills. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, toast and yoghurt. Host did not speak English but used Google Translate. Room was small but super clean. When you arrive, you are on a steep road and therefore the driveway is hard to see. It might be good to have a better sign at the road.
• Isabelle (10/5): Excellent rapport qualité, prix, très belle expérience humaine - Vue imprenable depuis la terrasse de la maison La propriétaire est très attentive, généreuse en conseils, accueil chaleureux, et prête à rendre plein de services : elle m’a fait une petite lessive, elle m’a fait visiter la petite ville de Atenas, et elle m’a appelé un taxi à chaque fois que j’ai eu besoin de me déplacer. Petit déjeuner généreux complet avec fruits et œuf et galette fait maison pris sur la terrasse en observant les oiseaux ! Le taxi Uber a eu du mal à trouver… Il faut un taxi pour aller au centre-ville, la maison est un peu éloignée et isolée.
• John (10/5): Wonderful host, view, breakfast - The owner was exceptionally kind, and the breakfast she made for my son and me was absolutely wonderful! We sat out on the patio overlooking the beautiful garden and mountains beyond. Friendly cat and dog kept us company as well. The room I booked would have been sufficient size for me, but then my 18-year-old son decided he wanted to tag along too. It was a little small for the both of us, but that was my fault for not booking two rooms.
