• Linda (7/5): The house has a great layout and we enjoyed our stay - The house is in a good location, close to shops and on the main loop road around Canberra. Easy to access from the Highway when coming into Canberra from the north. We enjoyed the layout of the house with the main bedroom/ensuite and a living area separate from the main areas. The kitchen/dining/living space was very nice with access to the outdoors through sliding doors. Nice comfortable sofas. The lower level bedrooms, laundry and main bathroom were also very good. Nice new bathroom facilities. While the layout of the house was great, it was not very comfortable. Very basic kitchen ware - crockery, cutlery and utensils. The lighting through the whole house was very severe - too many cool white ceiling lights (although there are some beautiful bling light fittings!) with no lamps to offset the brightness, especially at night when watching TV. The bedrooms lacked bedside tables and lamps and we had to put things on the floor. It would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture so that you could sit outside - maybe an all-weather bench so that there is somewhere to sit. The bathroom could do with some hooks to hang clothes.
