Guest Reviews
- David (6/5): Photos make the place look great but disappointed when arriving to see the building we where staying in. - The property had 3 bedrooms that is hard to find in London The owner does not put a picture of the building block where the flat is located. It is old and very cramped for 3 people. We stayed when the weather was 30 degrees, the apartment was crazy hot with no fans, the only was to cool
Down was to open the windows to the crazy noise of London nightlife.

- Rumey (5/5): I don't know what to say - The place is near Liverpool street station and a Tesco is 5 minutes away, with a local shop like 2 minutes from it which was convenient. It looks like the kitchen is newly renovated which makes cooking and dishwashing easy. Loads of plates and cutlery. They even provided a blow dryer and iron. The Living room was spacious with Working TV and Wifi. The decor was nice. Well for starters the main door locks were very dodgy. For my peace of mind i did place our luggage by the door. Each room door does not have a working lock so we had to use a door stopper just to close it or our shoe ,which was not a big deal to be honest as we were a family. The window on one of the bedrooms could not be opened fully and the temprerature when we stayed was 27C so we were baking inside. I had to wedge one of my jumper to keep the window open. The toilet and bath are separate. The bath had so much mold on the ceiling, The Bathroom had a photo but the toilet does not, and i think there is a reason for it, Because the toilet was by the entrance and it was so small, you dont have enough space to reach for your toilet paper and the cleaning stuff was just by your foot. The Floor needs to be revamped! The linoleum was stained and so grimey it literally felt like i did not want to walk barefoot anywhere and yes Please do not as the Floor in one of the bedroom has got 3 nails sticking out! The flooring by the kitchen is a trip hazard! The bed was not comfortable no back support.

- Arnaud (6/5): OK for the price. Or is it? - The property is well located in a vibrant neighborhood.
It was very clean and came with all amenities. As can be expected for a property in London, it is rather small to accommodate 6 people.
Although very clean and with some recent improvements, such as a new kitchen, recent wall painting or tile work in the bathroom, it needs some additional work to be perfect: the linoleum flooring in the kitchen, bathroom and toilets is very old and ought to be replaced; the walls in the toilets should be throughly cleaned and the ceiling in the bathroom repainted.
Furthermore, changing the shower hose is a requirement, and adding a few wall hooks in the bathroom would be helpful.
Last, some additional finishing and some small repairs would make the experience better.
- Rizzy (8/5): Great location - We loved the location of the property, the property had a key fob access so it was secure.
The Flat is located so close to the train station it was like a 2 minute walk away ( we didn't hear any trains) flat was in a quiet location and the local shops for Shoreditch High Street was 5 minute walk away. we managed to find a food/ desserts/ clothing market a 10 minute walk from the property.
Along the Shoreditch High Street, we came across the Van Gogh immersive exhibition which was a fun experience ,The bedrooms at the property was a good size, The rooms and decor looked just like the pictures advertised and the Flat was warm and clean, there was plenty of toilet roll, plenty of plates, glasses and had everything you need. The bedding smelt really really bad and some of the decor needs revamping as it's showing signs of wear and tear / no handles on the bedside cabinets.
- Jean (7/5): Good - Great location
- Erin (9/5): It was a nice stay - It was a nice unit for our family The flooring had nails in it and could use an update
- Andrew (1/5): Very disappointed with the accommodation on almost every front. - The outer door did not feel secure. It had several locks but only one seemed to do anything. The internal doors didn't shut properly or stay shut. The electric box wasn't securely covered. There were not enough pillows. The toilet seat was not fixed and fell off when you sat on it. Even the socket boxes were grimey. The toilet floor was badly stained with what looked like smoke damage and the edges of the lino were chipped and sharp. In a couple of places around the flat there were sharp nails protruding from the floor. The upholstery on all of the furniture was stained. The knobs on the bedside cabinets were detached and unfixable. When we arrived there was a pair of socks in the middle of the floor. The window catches were damaged and cheap chains screwed into the frames to stop them falling open. The photos over-sold the property, and the one showing interesting graffitti on a wall wasn't even anything to do with the property. The whole place was just a run down flat in a block of similarly run down flats in a rough area with nothing much to recommend it.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Perfect location for what we needed
- Anonymous (7/5): good value for money considering the location. very clean appartment. - quiet area and very clean no air con and bed linen / cushions were not great to sleep in -(in hot weather)
- Emma (2/5): Oh dear. - It served a purpose for one drunken overnight stay. There’s a reason there aren’t photos of the outside of the property.
As a group of four females, we felt unsafe and considered abandoning the booking and getting a room at the Hub by Premier Inn directly opposite (which actually would have been cheaper too).
The flat is in a council block which isn’t an issue in itself but the block is run down and unwelcoming.
The front door is difficult to secure with one turn-lock; previous dead bolt locks have been removed.
Flushing the toilet required reaching up to a piece of red string hanging from the water tank. No hand wash basin in the toilet.
Bathroom had mould on the ceiling.
Bedrooms - all mattresses very poor, you could feel the springs and the bed bars beneath as they were so thin. Bedding was cheap and ‘crispy’.
Kitchen was sufficient but the flooring is lifting in the doorway creating a trip hazard.
Little to no laid flooring anywhere else. At least one bedroom had staples poking out of the wooden floor planks.
Living room - don’t get any bright ideas about sleeping on the sofa as it was barely comfortable to sit on.
- Clint (10/5): Friendly staff clean place -
- Lizzie (7/5): Great vibrant location. - A great location, literally round the corner from Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market and walking distance from Liverpool Street.
I liked the decor of the flat, nice and bright. With a nice dining table, living area and nice touch of tea and coffee etc in the kitchen. Powerful shower too!
Easy check in and check out process too.
We were an adult family staying and it was perfect for us in terms of location and just using as a base. The flat could do with a little touch up here and there - eg toilet looking a little tired.
You could be thrown off by the building itself, in a council housing block but it's a super location, and right in the hubub of the local area. (Although, this does come with noise.. if staying, advise using the back two bedrooms as the front bedroom faces out onto the corridor of the building, and the street, so much harder to sleep in there.. especially on a Saturday night)
- Kelly (8/5): Very good - Beautiful Apartment with all amenities , within walking distance of all local attractions and train stations.
- Justina (7/5): Good value - For the price it was very nice, cozy for a group of friends. Not the fanciest for sure, but there is everything you need for a pleasant stay. I would consider coming back.
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional - Bath had a leak from behind the pannel
- Kira (8/5): Very good -
- Natacha (8/5): Very good - Location
Clean
Affordable
Well decorated TV didn't work
Bed uncomfortable
- Cassie (10/5): Great stay - I really liked all the bedrooms and the living room was spacious. The host was very responsive, we was able to get in very easy, the kitchen had provided all the utensils and pots allowing us to cook, as well as amenities such as towels and blankets which was used by all. Overall we had such a good time it was a very good stay, everything was clean and I would definitely recommend and come again
- Nombulelo (9/5): Superb -
- Jamie (1/5): Bad - The house was clean with a fully equipt kitchen, unfortunately, that was it. The location was very loud at all times, cars playing loud music at 2am and people coming and going outside the front bedroom window throughout the middle of the night. The windows are paper thin and do not close air tight, thus hearing absolutely everything. We were all woken several times during the night. We did not feel safe, unfortunately. The windows let in an awful draft, leaving the curtains swaying and the apartment cold at night. The duvet, pillows, and mattress are paper thin. I think people booking should be made aware of the front outside as I think there is a reason there is no photo attached. I understand it's cheap but we didn't get any sleep and that's what you pay for.
- Stanley (6/5): Pleasant - Near the overground station The owner better change the 🔐
- Rajput (9/5): Superb -
- Cresso (10/5): Exceptional - Kind host , clean and nice place to stay
- James (8/5): In the heart of Shoreditch, had a great stay - Lovely flat, great location Beds not very comfortable
- Lewis (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (3/5): We did not stay, it felt unsafe. - The inside was better presented than outside. We did not stay. The flat is situated on a council house estate that is covered in graffiti, it felt unsafe.
- Angela (3/5): Not what I expected - It was clean, decent sized and location was good Here’s a review you could use for Booking.com:
"We stayed at this apartment for one night, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The internet wasn’t working, which meant the kids couldn’t connect to their devices, and the TV had no signal, leaving us without entertainment. The kitchen had no basics like milk or essentials, which would have been a nice touch for convenience. One of the room heaters wasn’t working, and the main heater wouldn’t go above 19 degrees. While that temperature might be okay for some, the duvet was extremely thin, making it quite uncomfortable and a very cold night. Overall, the stay was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless improvements are made."
- James (7/5): Good - Location was amazing and checking in and out was easy.
The internet wasn’t working which wasn’t really an issue for us so no big deal.
Perfect as a place to visit Shoreditch
- Gary (8/5): Nice little apartment, close to a lot of amenities - Good value for money. Nice area to be in, near to our events. Beds comfy and kitchen well equipped.
Cimmunication with the owner was very good also.. It was nice inside the apartment. I'm not sure what was quirky, but hey, ho.
Somethings not finished very well but can't complain for the money...
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Manjot (7/5): Good -
- P (6/5): Does the job but uncomfortably - Small, clean and good location near Shoreditch / Liverpool Street. Area feels a bit scary for females, the property is not quirky, no mirror in one room, can hear all the noises from outside. Bed linens were not high quality.
- Deborah (7/5): An easy trip from the city centre to the property. We had a very pleasant, quiet & comfortable stay. - Spacious, had everything we needed for a one night stay. It was fine for what we needed. We only stayed to sleep there after a busy day & evening sightseeing.
