Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (5/5): - Good location, close to Coles Bay, and a short drive to National Park. Beautiful views of the mountains.
Comfortable living room. Tired kitchen and bathroom, both need renovation but equally serviceable.
Poor quality internet makes it difficult to watch streaming TV.
We booked the whole house, so we thought as it states on the booking. "The entire place is yours, 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, one bathroom."
When we arrived, there was a notice on the second bedroom stating that if this bed was used, there would be an extra cost incurred. Booking a two bedroom house, I expected to get the use of both.
Maybe I missed it in the small print somewhere, but I can't ever recall the booking agreement asking what bed configurations we required. We could definitely have got a one bedroom place at a cheaper price. I felt we had paid a premium for the property. This was definitely disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable and probably needs a new or better quality mattress.

- Terry (10/5): Super comfy beach shack next to all - Great location. Very comfortable and homey. Well appointed kitchen.
Thank you! Nothing. It was all great.
- Brigid (8/5): -
- Karl (8/5): Lovely property and outdoor environment. - Beautiful location and layout, lovely property and outdoor environment, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and living space. There was nothing at all to dislike!
- Catherine (10/5): Great experience - Very quiet Location, but close to restaurant and shop. Comfortable and very well equipped. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends.
- Nikki (10/5): - Very comfortable, well-equipped kitchen, lovely hosts! We had an excellent time and the location was beautiful.
- Christine (10/5): I will definetley be back - Everything
- Lyn (8/5): A small comfortable abode in a good location. - The location was good. It was clean, comfortable and tidy and had all the items we expected. Its was warm and very light as there are many windows which let in a lot of sunshine. There is a good view of the Hazzards - the mountain range overlooking Freycinet. The second bedroom was set up with a child's loft bed above the double bed. There was a ladder to get to the top bunk. However with only two adults there was no need for the ladder and it was quite dangerous until we removed it to give better access to that side of the bed. Being an elderly couple the metal struts for the upper bed were quite awkward and difficult to negotiate - perhaps dangerous for less agile persons.
The place was smaller than we expected.
- Emma (10/5): Lovely spot with loads of appliances, really well equipped! - Check in code was received later than check in time but didn’t affect our stay, lovely spot!
- Waters (10/5): - The whole accommodation experience.
- Martina (7/5): - The shower
- Bibek (4/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paula (8/5): Very good - Fridge was off when we arrived.
- Susan (7/5): A little basic but well equipped and served our purposes well - In a good location.
Well equipped. Didn’t find the washing machine until we were about to leave!
Appliances/taps/showers all a little dated but all very functional.
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Bianca (6/5): Okay for location but tired and over-priced - The location was fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to the docks, the grocery store and the cafe. The property was far nicer in the photos than in reality. Definitely over-sold. The property is very tired. It could be a great place with some TLC but we felt pretty ripped off.
- Francine (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): A great base to explore Freycinet National Park - The location was in Coles Bay near an excellent pizza restaurant and two well stocked shops. The house was very well equipped, complete with gas barbeque and was exceptionally clean. There was plenty of space for 4 of us and a large outside sitting area. The National Park is 20 mins drive away with some terrific, well signposted trails.
- Ellie (10/5): Amazing stay! - Such a cute spot. Seamless checkin. Very comfy and great location. I liked it all!
- Shaylie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious inside and out with great deck area , garden - Great for BBQ and relaxing. Views of mountains/ hills out front
Good location - short walk to food shop and local beach... Nice well equipped and homely kitchen and overall facilities. Nothing
- Jane (8/5): Pleasant - Lightness. Outdoor space. Kitchen and bathroom dated. Shower was poor.
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (4/5): Good property, incorrectly advertised, poor customer service from Freycinet Holiday Houses. Would not book one of their - Comfortable, good location, well equipped Advertised as a 3 bedroom property. On arrival only 2 bedrooms available to use (3rd used by the owner). On calling the rental company (Freycinet Holiday Houses), they were unhelpful, denied it was advertised as 3 bedroom (until I sent them the email confirmation stating this, then they acknowledged their error in advertising), refused to allow us to move to another 3 bedroom property, and didn’t discount the price for a 2 bedroom.
- Fon (10/5): Perfect location and clean - Great location and very clean. The amenities provided were perfect, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience. Location
- Yakov (10/5): Bright cheerful home in Freycinet - This is a California style home next to the Freycinet National Park: large windows and glass doors make it very bright and cheerful place to stay. There is a wonderful mountain view from the leaving room. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
- Amanda (9/5): Cute house with all the comforts. - The house is cute and comfortable, plus it is conveniently located within walking distance to the little town. It's also a fairly short drive to Wine Glass Bay. We had all the amenities we needed and would recommend staying there. The bed was pretty small perhaps it was a double.
- Kathy (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
