Guest Reviews
- Kimberly (10/5): A peaceful retreat. - Very well maintained. Extremely clean. Kitchen well equipped. Nothing
- Marianne (10/5): The cottage provided a great base from which to explore the Annapolis valley. - A lovely, quiet, and private cottage on a quiet lake. The kitchen was well-appointed, the shower was hot, loads of towels provided for the shower. The heater worked well to keep the cottage adequately warm despite unseasonably cold and wet weather. The place was immaculately clean when we arrived. The TV was better than ours at home! There were no dish towels provided that we could find, but we had our own, so not a problem. Did not in the least detract from our enjoyment of the property.
- Thomas (9/5): - Sehr schöne, ruhige und sonnige Lage am See. Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und komfortabel. Alles war sauber, einschließlich des Bades. Einkaufsmöglichkeit 20 min. Fahrt. Es sind ein paar kleinere Reparaturen notwendig.
- Randy (9/5): Nice property but read carefully! - The location was picture perfect - right on the lake. Everything you needed for a cabin experience was provided. The cabin was clean & well stocked. Two things about this booking were extremely negative. 1: Booking.com had it advertised as $150+-, when I checked my Mastercard statement it came up as $300+- . 2: I called the owner & he implied it was a ‘me’ problem since I didn’t read everything before I agreed to the contract. Since when are taxes on rentals 100%? The property is worth what I paid, but that’s not what was advertised.
BAIT & SWITCH.

- Rebecca (10/5): - This cute little cottage is clean, comfortable, and very well appointed .
- Amie (7/5): Decent value for the money. If you have your own water sport gear you’ll enjoy the lake. It’s tucked about 10-15 minutes - We loved the view, right on the lake. We also appreciated the BBQ. The A/C was very much appreciated. One of the beds was quite loud to sleep on and not very comfortable. The living room furniture wasn’t the most comfortable either. It would have been really nice if there were some board games and options for water activities I.e kayak or paddle boards.
- Stacey (6/5): Short - Very cozy spot, well equipped There was a very strong odor to the water.
- Thompson (8/5): Very good - The setting and access was really good. Very clean and layed out. There were not enough warm blankets. We had someone in the pull out and to avoid over using the heat pump, they had to sleep in sweets and sweater. Maybe more blankets for the fall and winter would be nice.
- Sharon (8/5): Memorable - The location was beautiful, waking up to a sunrise over the lake.
- Carol (8/5): Relaxing - Wildlife and fireplace on the
G
Shoreline Hard to find. Road/lane not marked. Better signage would have been helpful
- Jacqueline (10/5): Cozy, secluded and perfect for unwinding after our nearby sports events. -
- Moira (10/5): So quiet and peaceful. - Very Nice cottage on a beautiful lake just outside of Wolfville Only thing better would be if I stayed in Summer instead of first snow storm of the year. However despite even that the driveway was plowed right away.
- Patricia (10/5): Cozy 2-bedroom cottage was perfect for my stay in Nova Scotia - It was cozy and warm with a very serene view over the lake. I sat on the deck and watched the sunrise most mornings. Dog friendly, well-appointed and clean. Also - very nice neighbors. WIFI was excellent.
Just a 15 minute drive to Wolfville or New Minas.
