The condominium (central) heating will work on a schedule, as imposed by Italian law, and heating cannot be adjusted. The highest temperature allowed by Italian law for the residential sector is 19 degrees Celsius for all thermostats, both central and autonomous heating. Please do not use more than one appliance at once. Otherwise, you may experience power outages. If this happens, guests will need to reset the fuse box. Pavlína (8/5): Amazing neighbourhood, lucious green courtyard view! Malfunctioning showers, week wifi. - The apartment was situated in a very nice location. The street was somewhat busy but was planted with high trees, providing nice shade and protecting the surroundings from unpleasant hot weather. The living room led to a balcony which opened up to the inner courtyard with a view of the neighbouring gardens of other houses. The area was luscious green and very calm with amazing views of the old houses with their gardens. I just loved the place! I also appreciated the presence of basic consumables such as dish detergents, a dish sponge and cloth, trash bags, toilet paper, and hand and shower soaps. The basic dishes and cookware were also present. The AC was working just fine. Fortunately, it was not needed that much due to lots of greenery in the area, providing a nice cool atmosphere. Also, the apartment was situated in an old building with a tendency to stay cool over the hot season. As both bedrooms' windows faced the busy street I had to wear earplugs to be able to sleep. I recommend light sleepers either wearing earplugs or just closing the windows and turning the AC on, which I couldn't do because I was sick and the AC would only make it worse. There were 2 bathrooms in the apartment. However, one of the showers was missing the shower door and hence could not be used. The other shower, on the other hand, had a shower head at the end of its life expectancy, falling apart occasionally and the shower drainage was not draining properly so we always experienced shower flooding anytime after showering longer than 5 min or so. The wifi signal was super weak and got completely lost in the evenings. There were 2 bedrooms, one with a king's bed and the other with a twin bed. The twin bedroom was super small and the two beds were stacked under the other. When the beds were set for sleep, one had to be slid from underneath the other and positioned next to the taller bed occupying all the remaining floor space in the bedroom. In this situation, it was impossible to open any wardrobe to cross the bedroom to open the window or reach the door to leave the room, e.g. going to the bathroom at night.
Alina (5/5): could be better - I liked the design of the appartment, it is decorated with good taste. The location it is situated in a good neighbourhood. I liked that it has a balcony with a beautiful garden room. I did not feel good there because it was dust everywhere. Also it smelled like mould. There was mold on the kitchen wall. I will post a picture in the comment and i hope you will aprove it. Also the sofa was white and had stains everywhere. I truly do not understand why they do not fix this problems. If they were to fix this problems the appartment would have been great. Also i know that the IKEA sofas ( same model that they have there) can be washed.
Micheal (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely and very well equipped apartment a short walk from tram stops and Metro stations. Very close to the first drop off stop for Malpensa Shuttle (10 minutes to Duomo), and 20 minute walk to the San Siro.
