• Nikki (3/5): We paid an additional $90 on top of an already expensive accommodation rate to secure an early check-in, as we have a ba - It was close to the beach We paid an additional $90 on top of an already expensive accommodation rate to secure an early check-in, as we have a baby and couldn’t wait around until 3 PM. However, when we arrived at 12 PM, the property was far from clean. The floors were covered in sand, the sink was leaking, and to our absolute shock, we discovered a used crack pipe in a cupboard. When we raised these serious concerns with the property manager, their only response was, “People do things.” Despite paying a premium for cleanliness and convenience, the only solution offered was a move to a different property in Surfers Paradise. With a crawling baby and all our belongings already unpacked, relocating was not a viable option. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. Finding a drug utensil in a property where a child is staying is an enormous safety hazard, and the lack of care from the management is deeply concerning. For the high price we paid, we expected far better. I would not recommend staying here to anyone, especially families with young children.
• Alex (6/5): Would have been a pleasant enough stay but the massively inflated price due to it being categorised as peak period no wa - Plenty of space. Very old, especially the balcony with out-dated style railings and furnishings. Very awkward and inconvenient collection and return of keys. No staff on site. A very unpleasant and strong ‘drainage’ smell in main bedroom ensuite.
• Tasha (7/5): We enjoyed our stay apart from the few inconveniences - View was great, big spacious kitchen bedding was pretty good. Parking was good. Cupboard space was good enjoyed the coffee machine. There was no vacuum, floors were filthy, no mop or bucket to clean the floors, we had to ask for another toggle which was supplied. Blinds in lounge room were poor in fitting and black out from the sun. Not enough electrical outlets in the kitchen. No lids for any of the kitchen pots and we had to buy another egg flip the one supplied had been melted. Showers leaked out of the main bathroom door. 2nd bathroom had no shower screen so the water went everywhere and had to towel dry the floor and bathroom cabinet every time. Lounge chairs haven’t been cleaned there was sand and food in all the cracks when moving the chairs it fell out onto the floor. Would suggest the place needs a good deep clean. Beds in 2nd bedroom were full or fluff in the frames. Under the kitchen mat there was a ridiculous amount of sand.
