- Tisho (5/5): The apartment itself is wonderful, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. - The apartment is great, spacious and clean. There is everything you need for a couple of days. But If you don’t use WhatsApp, don’t even bother trying to book this place. If any problems arise, the last person you can rely on is the host — you’ll have to sort things out on your own. I was asked to pay a €250 security deposit as a temporary hold — not through Booking.com, but via a different website. I reluctantly agreed to proceed with the payment. Then I was asked to photograph my passport and send it via WhatsApp in order to receive the check-in instructions. Seriously? I neither had my passport with me nor use WhatsApp! I had to borrow a friend’s app and convince the host to accept my ID instead of a passport.
To make matters worse, I was told I would receive the check-in instructions only two hours before my indicated arrival time — not from 16:00, when check-in officially starts, but two hours before my chosen time, which was 23:00. So, I literally boarded the plane without knowing if we would even have a place to sleep!
When we finally arrived at the (otherwise beautiful) apartment, we discovered there was no hot water and that the Wi-Fi password provided was incorrect. While the lack of internet wasn’t a huge issue, being unable to take a shower after a long day certainly was. We were asked to “check in the electricity box — there is a specific breaker labeled ‘Geyer’; please make sure it is switched on.”
After confirming that the switch light was green, I was asked to send a photo for confirmation via WhatsApp. By this time, it was already past midnight. The boiler never started, so we went to bed without showering. The next morning, as expected, there was still no hot water. Things were getting critical. The host’s replies came with long delays, and the phone number provided never answered. We even asked them to send someone to check the system, because we are guests, not electricians, and it’s unreasonable to expect us to handle the electrical panel. Of course, no one came. They wouldn’t even answer the phone, let alone send someone in person!
Eventually, after a lot of trial and error, we managed to get the boiler working. It turned out that the indicator on the breaker needed to be orange, not green, for it to operate.
- Shahar (8/5): - I like that the apartment was renovated and modern, unlike many othe apartments in the area I didn't like the deposit money (never had it before)
- Mohammed (7/5): - the apartment is so clean . the biggest problem is the parking !! if you have a car this place is not recommended
- Laura (7/5): The space is nice, well priced and good location. The issue was really the AC, but they did respond. - The AC in one of the bedrooms didn't work, and we asked for support, we followed the directions they gave promptly, but that didn't work. I contacted them again, and they sent the same instructions. So my father was without AC for the 4 night stay which was uncomfortable for him.
