• Emma (7/5): Overall it was only tiny things I was unhappy about and it will not stop us from staying again. We stayed there 6 years - Location was great. Staff were friendly. Great size for family. We will be back for sure. Clean room and comfortable furniture. Almost like new. We had a dishwasher full of dirty dishes which I informed a member of staff. We also had a smell in the room, unsure if it was old cigarette or some sort of curry smell. It was hard to get used to but eventually we did. The dispensary unit for body wash also was broken, I did inform staff so they could replace for next occupants. We were offered a discount the next time we stay for the inconvenience.

It was uncomfortable to sleep on if you rolled on the join in the night. I had to leave a day early as my right shoulder was paining. Also they left 1 toilet roll. Just 1.

• Tebany (10/5): Great stay in 2 bedroom apartment - The hotel was in a great location with lots of free parking onsite and in nearby streets, and the staff were very friendly. Very little sound from nearby nightclubs or neighbouring rooms and walls were quite soundproof. Beds were a little hard and not every surface was cleaned thoroughly as there were small hairs and crumbs from previous guests.

• Mahia (10/5): Relaxing and easy! - Location was excellent, 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Great having a large balcony and lots of large windows and balcony doors for natural light and indoor/outdoor living. Very spacious apartment, well decorated, clean and modern. We cooked breakfast, all cooking utensils were available. Excellent car parking facilities, easy access, free parking, no reservation required. TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge. Spacious bedroom, linen and towels were good quality. Ceiling fans and air con, great having both options in the bedroom and living area. Good wifi. One small thing, the couch maybe broken in one section, wasn't me, I swear, it just dips a little too much :D otherwise everything else was excellent!!

Really hard to park in the basement (very small spaces) pretty unhygienic - shower was poorly cleaned as well as the balcony had crumbs and stuff all over the floor. Spacious apartment with plenty of room for kids. Handy laundry area and office space for work. The balcony was great too. More effort on bathroom essentials - like facial tissues and shower caps not provided was a little inconvenient. Was also missing hot chocolate sachets which would've been a nice addition esp with kids.

• JONATHAN (4/5): Position was great to everywhere we wanted to go. - It was close to Sunshine plaza and our other appointments, lady at reception was lovely. We stayed here last year, but felt things were not as clean this time. There was a smell in the room, Checked the air cons and the filters were absolutely filthy, all this thick fluff fell out, turned them off. The soaps and conditioner containers were empty had to change soap on sink from the other bathroom. The lounge has stains on it, didn't really want to sit on it. The parking is really tight and we only have a small car, not that you can change that.

Nestled right next to a cafe called ‘Yard Cafe’ - highly recommend their Ruben toastie! The bed was super uncomfortable. Hard as a rock. You can tell it’s a very old mattress. The late check in process was a bit difficult, but we got there in the end.

There were a mix of guests and people who lived in the apartment block. Loved that we could have 2 sets of keys. Easy walk to Sunshine Plaza and Cotton tree The second twin bedroom did not have an aircon and the fan was quite slow. Very small window so we got a bit stuffy and had to sleep with the door open which helped a bit. The fridge smelt like fish and the elevator was a bit motor oil smelly.

• Michael (3/5): We won't be back and won't be recommending. - The location - handy to required ammenities. Easy parking. Easy access. I was disappointed at the lack of cleanliness. The couch was uncomfortable. The apartment felt very sparse & basic. The outside balcony had not been cleaned as far as I could tell thus putting us 'off' using it. Considering what one pays one would think cleaning should be a priority. Also one of the bathrooms wasn't that clean - long hair and dusty. The basins don't drain that well either. All in all a little shabby!

• Paul (7/5): Unfortunate. - Location There were dirty socks and ripped shorts in the bedroom. I threw them out. The bathroom bin was broken. Some of the cutlery was dirty. The lounge aircon wasn’t working. To check in when I arrived at 4pm- I couldn’t get in through the foyer door so I was out in the rain ringing to get someone from reception to open it. I probably won’t stay here again.

Posibly a smelly damp mop had been used to wash the floor? Or there is a leak somewhere.. It really effected the quality of our stay.

Having previously stayed at Lowana location I found this venue to be of an older age. I didn't think when I booked the location about the noise of a thursday night from Ocean st music. No fault of venue, you get that when you are a street away from Ocean St. I found the sheer curtains could have done with a blind behind them to reduce the lighting coming into the room of a morning. No means of food even a vending machine so had to Uber eats
