Close location to Epworth hospital- walking distance.
Cafe and wine bar in close proximity. Good location. Great view from the balcony. IGA close by. Needed more hand soap and a working can opener.

It would have been easier to find if it had the street address first The logistical beaurocracy required is more than I have ever experienced with Booking.com. Scanned photo ID, etc etc. Messages at 2am from Hosts who are obvioulsy overseas.

- Andrew (9/5): Great little apartment in a fantastic location, but watch the added fees - The apartment is in an amazing location. With trams at the front door, and a supermarket in the building, you don't get much more ease. Easy to be in the city centre within about 10 minutes thanks to the frequency of transport. The fitout is really nice, and there's plenty of cookware, etc. which makes the every day pretty comfortable. The views of the city are truly amazing, watching the sunsets through the buildings was particularly enjoyable. Being able to have the dogs with us was a plus as well. There's nothing really that we had any issues with. Well, at least we thought there wasn't. We have just been hit with an extra fee as apparently they found some "remnants of fur" inside the pillowcases (having lived with dogs all my life I can honestly say I have never found fur INSIDE a pillowcase). This meant they had to be sent away for "special cleaning" at a fee of $115. What a rort.

- Stephanie (8/5): Pleasant, but communication could improve - The location was perfect for what we needed, and the apartment was clean and in great condition. Cleaning supplies were available for us to clean as we went.
Our apartment was on the 12th floor so the view was lovely. Communication was lacking - not only was it $765 for two nights which is insane, but when we booked, we then had to pay an extra $500! It wasn’t readily available in the fee structure when we booked (you had to search hard to find additional fees) and to have already paid $765 and then have to pay an extra $500 was a lot. It is refundable but I hate to think what would happen if we didn’t have the funds!
We also arrived, and there was absolutely no signage for the apartment we were staying at so we wondered if we were even in the right area, and no one was available to meet us. After a 4 hour drive we desperately needed a bathroom, and had to wait half an hour for someone to call us to say “oh, no one gave you my number??” No they didn’t. The lady was wonderful though, came down promptly and helped us to the apartment. Though it wasn’t explained well where the gym was, or where to leave the keys upon check out. A lot of things we had to work out ourselves. She also had her daughter with her, and she was parked in our allocated parking spot which was a little unprofessional but as parents, we understand.
Also, unrelated to the booking but to make patrons aware, but there is a restaurant downstairs called Alley Cat that we had to report to council as the place was an absolute disgrace, the owner/manager was obviously on something, there was smashed glass that was not cleaned up promptly (it was there for over an hour with customers stepping on glass) and the service was abysmal. We ended up walking out on our food and money as it was so horrifying.

Small rooms became excessively stuffy if AC wasn’t on with doors open to the living room
