- Deisy (8/5): -
- Alicia (10/5): Awesome stay - Great location, communication and facilities The little step going into the bathroom was a little annoying. Kept stubbing toes. Maybe a foam cover to avoid any injuries
- Cameron (8/5): Good - Nice easy accessible Could do with a vacuum cleaner
- Michaela (8/5): -
- Aleksandr (10/5): -
- Bassam (8/5): Great location, clean. need better sheets and pillows - Great location. clean apartment. good internet connection. Old bed sheets and not suitable pillows. The Key collection process was a bit problematic and needs to improve.
- Clyde (1/5): Airtrip are terrible hosts and don't recommend. - How the host "airtrip" was so comfortable in not being accountable or responsible for any issues with the room swipe key. Having to collect room key from a Grocery shop 0.5km from hotel Belise Apartments.
Swipe key would not work. Couldn't get into room for hours.
I contacted Airtrip at that time who told me to go to reception and reception would resolve issue. I went straight to reception but nobody was there and no staff came to reception. I again contacted airtrip who told me somebody will be there as airtrip had emailed them. Nobody was at reception and nobody came to reception. I waited a long time.
I had to find a Belise Apartments supervisor who was at the hotel on an unrelated call in. Who let us into the room but could not resolve our swipe key issue as he was not a member of reception staff and reception staff had finished for the day. Airtrip were aware.
After being let into the room we had to leave one person in room at all times to open the door to our apartment while the other person left. If we both left, we would be locked out again as the swip key would still not work to allow access to the room. I again notified airtrip.
The issue with our swipe key was not resolved until after 0930 the next day when Belise Apartments reception staff were at work.
Why didn't my host "airtrip" arrange for the after hours call in of reception staff to replace/reprograme of the faulty swipe key at the time of the issue?
Not happy.
- Nick (3/5): Refund needed, 2nd year in a row with problems, fridge didn’t work. Dirty sheets. - Location Fridge didn’t work, bed horrible and dirty sheets. Last year no towels provided for a week and never rocked up.
- Rian (1/5): go somewhere else - the amenities were good ⚠️ WARNING: VILE CONDITIONS – AVOID AT ALL COSTS ⚠️
Booked for 13 nights at a premium rate expecting basic hygiene. What I got was a biohazard disguised as a rental.
The bed stank of human waste and stale sweat. Stripping the sheets revealed yellow-stained mattress protectors and a mattress soaked with bodily fluids. The headboard was visibly dirty, and the whole setup felt reused and unhygienic beyond belief. Absolutely revolting.
The carpet was sticky, and the sofa emitted waves of body odour or something worse after sitting for just a few minutes. The smell from the drains was so bad I kept every window and door open the few miserable times I was actually in the flat.
The kitchen appliances and cupboards were filthy — crumbs, dirt, and even decaying food inside the fridge and dishwasher. There were pubic hairs on the toilet seat on arrival, and the towels reeked of sweat.
I later checked reviews (which I deeply regret not doing earlier) and found that all of these complaints have been raised repeatedly for over a year — nothing’s been fixed. The AC unit? Still lined with mould. A blatant health violation.
As if this wasn’t enough: a cleaner barged into the flat without notice right as I got out of the shower — I was barely dressed. Her excuse? She needed to “grab a hoover.” There’s a cleaner’s cupboard on every floor — why mine?
Also, the windows and doors are not soundproof in the slightest. You’ll hear every siren, horn, revving engine and late-night shout like it’s happening in your room. Don’t expect a decent night’s sleep.
I contacted management (Airtrip) with photos and details. Instead of addressing the horror show, they accused me of trying to scam them, despite me clearly stating I’d stay quiet if they relocated me.
Bottom line: this place is filthy, unsafe, and operated by people who couldn’t care less. I’ve never been so relieved to leave a place. Do not stay here — your health, dignity, and sanity deserve better.
- Simone (7/5): Once I knew where to pick up keys it was great. Earlier better communication would of been 10/10 - Great location and nice unit Wasn't aware of the name of the accomodation complex until arrival and did not receive the information on where to pick up the keys until arrival and when I call persistently. Tried calling the day before arrival but no answer and no response until I started calling again when I realised the keys couldn't be picked up from reception.

- Anna (3/5): Not the stay we hoped for — disappointing experience - The location was convenient and the space was clean overall. Unfortunately, our experience at this property wasn’t very positive. The hosts were unable to accommodate our health-related requests and initially suggested it was due to Booking.com policy, but it became clear the limitations were coming from them instead. This was disappointing, especially given the circumstances.
The key pick-up and drop-off process was also much more complicated than expected. The instructions required multiple steps and weren’t very accessible — something to keep in mind if you’re elderly, have mobility issues, or simply prefer a straightforward check-in/check-out.
We were also surprised by the requirement to leave the apartment almost spotless (apart from the linen), particularly considering the price of the stay. At that point, a hotel would have offered far more comfort and convenience.
The biggest issue, however, was discovering that the fridge didn’t work. This meant we couldn’t store food or medications safely, which was a significant concern. Reaching the hosts by phone was difficult, and most communication happened slowly through the Booking.com app. It took several days for them to attempt to address the problem, and in the meantime, we chose to leave early.
Overall, this stay wasn’t as comfortable or supported as we expected. I wouldn’t personally choose this property again.
- Renee (2/5): -
- Kathryn (9/5): Really enjoyed it, would stay again - Great location, comfy bed, separate bedroom, washing machine, balcony Wine glasses would have been a good addition
- Lima (10/5): -
- Lisa (2/5): Not great unfortunately - We had to travel a distance to pick up keys bed was uncomfortable towels were very old and thin balcony door wouldn’t unlock .Worst of all the fridge did not work so we had no fridge at all for 6 days nobody did anything about it not great with a young baby ! Cleaner and a fridge that worked !!
- Hervy (5/5): - Great pool, nice location and comfortable apartment overall. The apartment was generally satisfactory, but there were a few areas that could be improved. Upon arrival, I needed to collect the keys from a different location, which was somewhat inconvenient. On the second day of my stay, another vehicle was parked in my allocated underground car space, requiring me to park elsewhere. I subsequently received a message from property management regarding this.
Additionally, the process for both collecting and returning the keys involved several steps, which made it more complicated than expected. Lastly, the apartment was not perfectly clean upon check-in.

- Suzie (9/5): Great place to stay - The place was really good. Thank you The hair left on the floor by the cleaner .. the Cafe and bar didn't open while we were there for 4 nights.

- Wayne (2/5): disappointed - No breakfast including , No free transfer from airport as advertized leaking shower, flooded bathroom. charged for cleaning services which we did not get. had to collect keys off-site. no free transfer from airport as advertized.
- Samuel (1/5): This property is not as described in description - Nil Fridge not operating, dishwasher totally rusted and unsafe, flooding present in bedroom from recent cyclone, uncomfortable bed, no extra toiletries or towels available (front desk does not assist with this privately owned room), booking information said free parking but front desk requested $35 per night for parking, front door not shutting properly and mouldy aircon vents.
- Chris (4/5): Disappointing -
- Regan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (6/5): Pleasant -
- Haifeng (1/5): It is the worst hotel that I ever stayed. It only provide a room but zero service. - They do not have a checkin desk and no key dropbox. I was requested tell them the schedule arrival time. But my flight delayed a little bit and then I informed them that I will delayed about 45 minutes. When I arrived, they told me they will charge the service because I delayed and they send a people from third party to wait me. I have to accept it because I have no choice.
2. When I use the key to access the room and find the key is not activated. I ring them, the told me to take a taxi on my cost to the city center to get a new key. I insist they should do the service. A few minutes late, they told me that nobody in the city to activate the key. It means if I did what they ask to do, I will pay the taxi and got nobody in their office. Then, they told me I have two choices, cancel the booking by myself(they take no responsibility), or I take one night in other place and they refund the first night cost (average night cost from my booking in their cost), even do not cover the cost of my new booking on another hotel.
3. They do not have WIFI and iron in the room. I asked them to send me these device that are basic for my stay. During my stay 9 days, I do not got it before I left even they promise to send me these device.
4. Service people are only online and I have not see any hotel staff in 9 days. No action is taken by the hotel even they knew there are some issues.

- Kitrina (3/5): Dreadful checkin - The checkin was the most stressful we have ever experienced. Despite being told we would be met at the property it took 4.5 hours and 2 uber trips to obtain the key. We pleaded for someone to let us in after an exhausting international flight. We finally got the key ourselves but it hadn’t been reprogrammed so they sent us across town AGAIN to another accommodation where we had to stay for one night until our key was reprogrammed. On arrival there was no wifi, once again we pleaded for help as I had to logon to work. It took 48 hours and many requests to finally get wifi.
The curtain in the bedroom was taped up with masking tape after being ripped, and it took 4 hours for the air conditioning to get from 31deg down to a reasonable 22deg.
- Toni (1/5): Bad -
- Ha (6/5): Pleasant - Location, cleanliness. - The check in time is late, had to wait for 1.5 hours to get in. When asked for early check in, they said will be charged, while on the website it doesn't say so. I then had to wait for more than an hour to be able to get the key card. Internet doesn't work so I don't bother.
- Lim (1/5): please advertised accordingly, internal team needs an integrated crisis plan - location room was not clean upon arrival, assistance needs to call inorder to gets update from team else needs to sit for who knows how long; no wifi as per advertised, in the unit, assisted after plenty times of asking however different decision by different staffs and was connected to a very slow wifi from above unit. no full laundry that was said to assist in fixing the issue, but no update after all. poor maintained, perfunctory attitude
- Patricia (5/5): Disappointed guest - Clean and good location. It was summer and the air conditioning malfunctioned, as I was working from home it was very hot and uncomfortable. No communication as to when it would be fixed.
- Aimee (1/5): Never Again, AirTrip - What I liked the most is the location. The property was clean and quiet. Requested early check-in upon booking. No response was received. So early check-in was not available when we arrived at 11am. We were met by a guy (third party, from AirTrip) at the lobby for our keycard who was late for 1.5hrs. Check-in was at 3pm but he arrived at around 4:30pm. Told the staff (Joan) of AirTrip over the phone that the link to the guide was not working to retrieve the wifi code. They did not respond to SMS or call for this request. We had no access to WiFi for the entire stay. I also requested the sofabed to be made out in advance as our son who is 15yrs old was stating with us. When we arrived the sofabed was not made out, worse there was no linen to be used, nor extra blanket or towel. It was evident upon reservation that there will be 3 guests staying. Dishwasher not working properly. TV remote nor working properly, when we looked at it the batteries were beaten.
- Alataua (1/5): Bad - Location Toilet blocked for 6 days out of the 7 days that I booked. Called and was told that not one worker/plumber/handyman works the weekend so nothing could be done, even before & after the weekend. Was told by Joanna from Airtrips to use level 2 or the pool toilets. Requested multiple times for management to call me but received no response. Oven was broken - after getting a whole week of groceries before check in to find out that the oven did not work even though I specifically asked after seeing a previous review if it had been fixed and was reassured it had been. And lastly the communication, it has been nearly two weeks that I’ve requested some sort of manager to contact me. The Airtrips ladies just “request” but never actually deal with any type of situation that arises. The management here is disgusting - I can tell by the lack of communication internally. & yes - the view is beautiful but if you want to take a piss, shit or cook (basic necessities) spend your $ elsewhere. Do better Airtrips!! They also put me on hold and wouldn’t take me off, hence the added call to the same number🤬
- Saowapa (4/5): Disappointing - The shower leaking and water very smell Fixed the water issue
- 4impact (10/5): Exceptional -
- River (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (5/5): Spacious room, uncomfortable bed - The apartment was spacious and had everything you needed washing machine , dryer, etc. The bed was really uncomfortable the only complaint I would have
- Jeff (7/5): Good - Everything was good except stove top not working Not working stove top
- Khloe (5/5): Better units in complex - The complex itself is great facilities and location is great. The management and advertising of this particular booking was below standard and difficult. Be better off booking through the main belise complex for a little more to ensure easy check in, one less personal to liaise with for booking, also correct facilities provided as per rest of accommodation.
- Felipe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (2/5): Disappointing stay and inconvenient key pick up. - It was very clean and the wifi was good. Plenty of space and a table to work at. Reasonable water pressure. I was given a 15 minute window to pick up my key. this was inconvenient and it was raining. When I rang to try to change this I was told I couldn't, so I had to run in the rain from my meeting to pick up the key. The aircon didn't work, the door didn't shut properly and there was no milk for a cup of tea. The cafe in the building was dreadful and the staff were very rude.
- Aaron (5/5): Loved the unit and location, but the check in process needs to be updated immediately - I liked the unit/location. I didn't like the lack of communication regarding the entire check in process, I only got half the story. What should’ve been explained is this… “In order for you to check into this apartment, we need a photo of your drivers license, photograph of your with the license and photograph of your credit card used for this booking PRIOR to your estimated check in time. Once we’ve received that info, we will THEN get someone to drop the key off to you.”
I’ve never prefilled out that info before as I always do it at reception and I get the keys from there. But this was a third party booking and a very different process. If I had known ALL of the process, not just the first half, I would’ve provided the info then
Instead I had to wait 2 hours for a “ninja” to drop the keys off…. Which they did WITHOUT telling what room number it was. I was given the key and he just walked back to his motorbike. I had to follow him to ask what the number was… and I had to call regarding WiFi info as I wasn’t sent anything. Total waste of my time and super disappointed.
- Michaela (8/5): Very good -
- Sonam (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, value for money, carpark included and very clean!
- Teresa (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (8/5): Great affordable accommodation for the Work. - The facilities in the room were great. The room was the right size for a solo traveler, and the pool and gym were a good size to complete daily exercise routines. Cooking and laundry facilities also helped and were easy to use. The local grocery store was quite close with plenty of eating options for dinner and lunch. These were only a 5 minute walkaway from the apartment. There were tons of lighting options in the room that were perfect. Wifi had a good connection and speed was sufficient for the use of video conferencing. The Cafe in the lobby was a great hang out spot. The AC vents were dusty, and there was a bit of dust on the ceiling. Check-in was a bit confusing, but OK, once the key was received. An additional dead bolt for the door would have been reassuring as well. The bed wasn't as comfortable with pillows not firm enough if your preference is that.
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brad (8/5): Very good -
- Jodie (1/5): Worst accommodation we’ve ever stayed in and the worst customer service we’ve ever experienced. - Location It was missing basic things like coffee cups, dish cloths, cutlery, complimentary tea, coffee and milk. The shower had a major leak and made it a slipping hazard. The dryer didn’t work properly. Washing machine broke while we were there. We used the towels provided to stop it damaging the carpet. No thanks from the owners. We had to convince them to give us new towels. They said they would contact us about what was going to happen with the washing machine but never did. The guy basically ghosted us after the machine broke. No apology was ever received from them and they showed no desire to try and improve our stay experience . Customer service was non existent.
- Kristie (8/5): Very good -
- Anita (1/5): Bad - I would like a phone call to explain my experience.
- Alexander (1/5): Bad -
- Stella (10/5): Stayed for 6 nights with my sister and we loved it . Close to shops, public transport and much more. Great location if y - The property was great! Easy check in , great location , clean and tidy. Couldn’t fault anything.
- Lauren (5/5): Great apartment, maybe recommend messaging ahead to make sure they’re ready for your arrival - Nice apartment with balcony and good view. Pool and sauna room just downstairs The owner of the apartment couldn’t check us in for hours after our arrival time :(
once they arrived and let us in they were very nice and sorry
- Col (5/5): Passable - Location The smell of animal wee and ammonia
- Rebecca (7/5): Good -
- Brooke (5/5): Won’t stay in the apartment again. - The location for the RNA was great. The lack of comfort. The bed was terrible and pillows and sheets were disgusting. Very old and cheap. The sheets were like plastic and the so called “doona” was a thin torn raggedy piece of blanket. There was 1 bowl. No cloth for sink. Couch was old and smelt. Just very rundown.
- Pierre (6/5): The young girl who met me at the hotel was fantastic and was very helpful indeed. - The location was very good, and it was nice to sit outside on the balcony, and just around the corner there was lots of alfresco style places to eat and also a convienience store, so you could buy things like milk and fruit and vegies. I was very, very disapointed that there was no parking available for me, because I had booked with Airtrip and not directly with the Belise hotel, although there were plenty of spaces available I was not allowed to park my car there. Also I was told by a representative, who was located in the Philliphines that there was definately parking available for me, even though the brochure said that there was no parking available. So it had a dramatic effect and it spoiled my holiday.
- Marco (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amai (10/5): Excellent place to stay - Location Nothing I didn't like
- Matthew (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE....EXPENSIVE, DIRTY & HOSTS DO NOT CARE! - Location was good, apartment itself was good but poorly maintained (see below). Easy walk to Show Grounds. Lots of restaurants nearby. Cafe downstairs was OK. We informed Airtrip that we would be arriving between 8pm and 8:30pm on Saturday evening, we then received several emails over the days leading unto our departure to Brisbane, informing us that someone would meet us at the property to hand over the keys. When we arrived at Brisbane Airport at 7:30pm we received an email informing us that because we were arriving after business hours that we would need to travel to South Brisbane to collect the keys or pay a 3rd party to deliver the keys ! This is unacceptable behaviour especially since Airtrip know days in advance of our arrival time yet waited till the last moment to change the key collection, this cost us additional Uber fees and time!
On arrival at the apartment we found the curtains in the bedroom were barely hanging on a few remaining hooks, so that they didn't block the light coming into the room from the busy street, resulting in a difficult nights sleep and very early morning! The Curtains also had several holes and what looked like cigarette holes in them.
The Bed sheets were stained with bodily fluids and makeup!
The light switches were dirty and had not been cleaned and some of the kitchen cupboards were also dirty with what looked like old, dried food!
One of the drinking glasses was cracked.
the Toilet bowl was also dirty and not cleaned!
The chairs around the dining room were worn to the point of the vinyl mostly being worn off (the salvation army would accept chairs in such poor condition)!
I don't expect perfect accommodation, but I do expect basic levels of cleanliness and for the furniture to be at least in a decent condition!
Airtrip also would not supply more than 1 key so if one of us wanted to use the pool the other had to stay at the apartment (lifts require keys)!
They did send cleaners, the next day but didn't fix the curtains (we did as best we could), they cleaned the light switch and cupboard, sheets were not changed (or changed for more dirty sheets!). DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
- Kara (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (8/5): Very enjoyable - Location was good for us at the Brisbane Showgrounds The key handover could have possibly a bit smoother and no luggage hold
- Zeke (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (4/5): Not good - Location, pool Bathroom sink was blocked. Had to brush teeth in kitchen sink.
Mould in shower and bathroom.
No teaspoons or bowls.
Wifi didn’t work. It’s not connected.
No bedding for sofa bed. Had to call and get dropped off.
Only 1 key for apartment.
Dryer didn’t work. No pegs
- Gavin (2/5): Regretful. - Location Verification process was quite intrusive.
Key collection was slow and painful.
The television had no channels.
Room smelled of cigarettes, smudges on the coffee table and when I went to use a cup they all had coffee rings at the bottom of them.
- Isabella (3/5): Disappointed - No aircon, said it would be fixed but it was not,
- Mason (8/5): Very good -
- Shiela (3/5): Not good - Property is nice but not really clean there water bottle under the bed and some of the cook ware is not clean The aircon is not working since we arrived
- Charlotte (6/5): Pleasant -
- Renata (9/5): Superb -
- Edward (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (3/5): It was a place to sleep after my event, won’t be coming back - It was close to the event that I was attending It was dirty, the bathroom needs a really good clean
- Taj (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (3/5): Poor - The room itself was quite ok Unknown to me the booking was not with the hotel but an outside party called Air Trip. The keys were 90 min late the reserved parking spot was always used by others so I was forced to park on the street 500m away. The room had no condiments supplied. The hotel reception weren’t able to help because the booking wasn’t with them and Air Trip didn’t respond to my calls.
- Andrea (8/5): Good - The location was great and the facilities were good The consistent phone calls that the key ninja people made wanting to know where we were when we had provided an estimated time of arrival. Being held up by traffic is something that was out of our control and when we were not there right on the start of the ETA time (but arrived within the hour) they were constantly ring asking where we were. It was a little frustrating.
- Mallissa (4/5): Disappointing and expensive considering the drama of being locked out of my room due to a faulty key - The room itself was fine. The WIFI didn't work for the first day and no password on any information given. Then locked out of my room for 2hrs because the key was faulty. Was forced to wait outside in the hallway with my child for these two hours, waiting for assistance. I was told at one stage I would have to pay for being locked out of my own room, not due to any fault of my own. Would not recommend the property.
- Christine (4/5): Don't bother - Booking was through Airtrip. So the hotel did not know anything about the booking and did not want to help in any way.
I did not get the type of apartment I booked. Was not what was pictured on booking.com i layout of furniture. It did not have a sofa bed in the lounge, even though that was stated in the description. It did not include a carparking space.
The apartment funiture was in poor condition.
