• Squidee (10/5): - Had the best stay in this apartment, the location is prime and you find your self sat looking out at the bridge rather than the tv. The city is a 20 minute ferry and also have a bus stop right below.
• richard (5/5): We were locked out because the electronic entry keypad ran out of battery. Phoned management company, furnished apartmen - Amazing view and access to the city by ferry It wasn’t clean. Carpet and some furniture was old and stained.

• Meredith (10/5): Great location - Close proximity to public transport and a beautiful area to explore. Very spacious with plenty of room. The apartment didn't supply tea, coffee pods for the coffee machine and also no milk, I also had to pay them directly $33 not refundable for breakages, which us being more nature ladies was very unnecessary .

• Claudine (9/5): We loved it so much we tried to book again but it was already taken. - The apartment was so spacious and comfortable. And the view of the harbour and bridge was stunning - we got to see it at all different times of the day. We also loved that the windows could open wide and that there was a little balcony space so we could sit outside. The proximity to the ferry was so convenient and enabled us to travel easily to and from Circular Quay and Barangaroo. Five minutes walk from the apartment is a kiosk where you can get great coffee in the morning and there were some lovely walks close too. We did have to call the host several times and the response to our questions and concerns were prompt and appropriate. Overall, a wonderful place to stay - thank you. As the apartment is also close to the bus stop, on the Friday night there was some late night noise issues. Obviously, this is out of the control of the host, but it might be worth knowing as a visitor. Also, letting people know that there is a staircase rather than a lift.
• Naiara (7/5): Superb location, breathtaking views. Dated place. - The location and the view. It was extremely clean. The place is dated. A few things broken. No glassware and poor kitchen cookware.
• Abigail (8/5): - Location was great, size was wonderful for the price. Cafe located near by for convienient morning stops Access was difficultbas key was not located in key lock as advised. Staff were helpful over the phone once. Contact was able to be made. Unfortunately a few stains on furniture and carpets on arrival, the accommodation was clean otherwise there were several fruit flies upon our arrival.
• Gabrielle (7/5): Great location, fabulous view but very tired building and unit with poor inclusions. - The location is exceptional with a wonderful view and excellent proximity to the ferry. The apartment and building is getting very rundown. The entry door key pad is very loose, the carpet if stained as are the living room sofa and chairs. The cutlery, glassware and crockery is mismatched and very little is provided eg one champagne glass only. The integrated fridge is broken and there is a very noisy fridge stuck in the kitchen rather than fixing the existing fridge. The outdoor deck is in very bad condition. The french doors do not actually meet in the middle so when it’s windy the wind whistles through into the unit which will be very cold in winter. Lots of light bulbs don’t work. Its very sad as it could be brilliant if looked after properly.

• Muriel (9/5): Spectaculaire et très sympa - L'emplacement et la vue sont dingues. L'appartement est vaste et agréable, et très bien conçu. Quelques points de détail à améliorer (voir ci-dessous) mais globalement on a adoré. L'appartement est un peu défraîchi, la moquette par exemple mériterait d'être changée. Pas de welcome pack, qui pourrait être sympa vu le prix de l'appartement. Le code de la porte d'entrée n'avait plus de batterie et on a eu bien peur de rester enfermés dehors. Et surtout (mais c'est le cas dans tous les appartements australiens dans lesquels je suis allée) les vitres des fenêtres sont vraiment très sales, comme si elles n'étaient jamais nettoyées, or avec la vue panoramique qu'offre cet appartement, c'est un peu dommage.

• Alan (8/5): The harbour views and ferry access make this an excellent location. - The views to the Harbour Bridge and Barrangaroo were fantastic. The nearby access to the public ferry and bus system made it so easy and enjoyable to access the city. Easy walk to cafes local conveniences. Needs some more plates and cutlery. Could do with tea and coffee supplies. Needs a kitchen brush and dustpan.
• Justine (8/5): Check in was at 3, cleaners were still cleaning at 3. No luggage storage on site, which could be accommodated easily. I - Incredible location, close to public transport. Busses reversing in front of property a tad noisy. But the view makes up for it! Property is a tad tired, needs new carpet, windows are difficult to open and could do with some fly screens and needs a new shower head. Some nice wine glasses would be great too! But the location makes up for it! 🤩

• Brenda (8/5): Loved it and can’t wait to come back 😃❤️ - Location was great with beautiful views of the Harbour and sit on the balcony with a food platter and a glass of wine. Transport was easy and right next to property. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. Beds were very comfy. I will be back to stay again and explore more that Balmain East and the city have to offer😃❤️ The carpet was stained and worn in places. Cushioned chair was stained and needs new cushion.Couch was comfy with the cushions needed to support you, middle aged and older would find it too low and struggle getting up from. The fridge needs to be taken out of kitchen bench and replaced, replacement fridge in room doesn’t work very well. Dishwasher drawer comes off rails and makes it difficult stacking and unloading. ( known fault from this dishwasher brand☹️). Shower/Bath is a little steep to get in and out of. Easy fix maybe with a tiled step fixed to outside of bath??. If Driving make sure you book car park with property, as parking spaces is scarce and when out of property car space , put bin in the middle of it , so know one parks in it like we had , even though it’s a private parking spot connected to property. In saying all these little negatives that are easy fixed , i would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back to stay again 😃❤️

The photos alone don’t sell just how perfect the spot is. 2 forms of public transport right on the doorstep (but still far enough away not to be loud) and views of the bridge, harbour and city that are the absolute best

• Untari Eka Setiawati (10/5): Will definitely stay here again when I go to Sydney - The view is absolutely stunning, and the apartment’s location is super convenient. I really enjoyed spending time on the balcony with a glass of wine, just taking it all in. Also, the place was spotless, which made the stay even better. Its hard to find a parking space around here.
• dean (7/5): Great location with great views, comfortable and well priced for the standard. - Location was great with amazing waterfront views of the city and harbour bridge. Roomy and comfortable for a small family or two couples. Reasonably quiet location at end of dead-end street, busy bus route though with bus stop situated at front door so was a bit noisy at times but not excessively. Easy to get to with both the ferry and bus stops at your door. Shops located within walking distance. Two park lands situated either side great for a quick walk. Overall comfort was good, would definitely consider again if staying in Sydney. The accommodation had a strong strange smell to it. Smelt like pickles according to my partner. Got used to it after a little while but definitely not pleasant initially. Some crockery was dirty when pulled from the cupboard to use, clearly not checked or washed after last use. Lighting in the kitchen was poor, there was under cabinet light strips but we couldn't work out how to turn these on. There were a few light switches that did nothing so possibly one controlled this but didn't work. Hot water in the kitchen takes a very very long time to come through, be patient! Light switch in the bathroom that i assume controlled a heated towel rail was taped over rather than repaired. Overall the place is a little tired and requires work but the pros of location, view and price certainly outweighed the cons
• Bil (2/5): Real pity, perfect location with a good apartment but attention to cleanliness was sadly lacking. - In fairness the location was good with easy transit via Ferries to all locations on Sydney harbor. 1. The entrance to the apartment was not clean and smelled. This could have easily have been solved with a vacuum and air freshener. 2. The apartment had a worse odour than the entrance. Maybe because the Exhaust fan wasn't working 3. The apartment had clearly not been cleaned satisfactorily before our arrival. 4. The carpets had not been vacuumed. And were in need of repair or replacement 5. While the beds were comfortable the mattress protectors were dirty. 6. The lounge suite was covered in stains and the two lounge chairs had grubby stains on them 7. Discussions with the agent we arranged a supposed clean but they had made no attempt to Air freshen the apartment and only spot cleaned issues we advised. 8. I am not sure who was to blame the cleaners or the agent but all of these issues could easily have been resolved.
• Doug (9/5): Great value apartment with million-dollar views in the heart of Sydney! - Absolutely perfect location, million dollar views and perfectly comfortable living space! Just a short walk from the cosy little village of Balmain, plus we saved a fortune on transport by catching ferries just over the road or buses every ten minutes literally at our doorstep. Noise was negligible, definitely no worse than you'd expect staying anywhere else in the middle of Sydney. Presentation was fantastic, yes there are some old stains on the carpets and lounge but everything's obviously been cleaned/sanitised many times before. Communication was fantastic, check-in was seamless, instructions all made sense and were easy to follow. Value for money is absolutely second to none... ignore the bad reviews and book yourself and your family a comfortable stay in this amazing spot 👍 The apartment definitely needs a tumble dryer - drying a full load of washing with just a folding rack is nearly impossible, especially if you're there long enough to do multiple loads. The dishwasher needs new wheels on the bottom rack so it can slide properly (we had to lift it in and out every time). The non-working fridge in the cupboard needs to be removed or at least unplugged so it doesn't warm up the surrounding cupboards. Would definitely be worth replacing the old TV/Roku box combo with a newer smart TV that does multiple streaming services. Other than these few things, everything else was great.

Would stay again if able The bathroom was dangerous for shorter people having to step over broken tiling on the edge of the bath. The furniture could do with a decent clean. Door out to the balcony was extremely hard to close with the other door with a sign on it not to open. There was a broken piece of wood on the railing of the balcony plus it had peeling paint coming off it. The bath/ shower was actually really hard to get into and out of due to its height and width of the tiles. I believe it is quite dangerous. I actually slipped getting into the bath and sustained a large bruise to my leg. Older people would struggle with this set up.

• Antoine (9/5): Large appartement at the best location! - The location and apartment are breathtaking ! Unfortunately the place looks like it’s been neglected. There is no light in the building lobby so we had to use our phones at night to access our unit, the building door looks dodgy, the furniture is a mix of high quality and cheap items, and I suspect there were bedbugs or something because the bedsheets were itchy. Also they keep a $500 deposit for almost a month (2 weeks before your stay until 2 weeks after your stay) which can be annoying. They advertised a car space but it was not available event though we had 2 bookings with them for the same dates, and I didn’t see a car space anyway.

• Georges (5/5): Good location. - Good location Check in process was not easy. Communicating through booking .com to the owners was inefficient. No power on arrival. Could not get the air conditioner to work. Loud continual buzzing sound in the roof. Only one car park for the complex. Street parking was a nightmare.
• Ian (9/5): Superb - This is the most exceptional location, right next to bus and ferry stops, with enchanting views across the harbour to the iconic bridge from the balcony. It is spacious, well appointed comfortable. Access is easy and the management always responsive and flexible.

• Shane (10/5): Stunning location. Hosts were very informative and helpful. Well worth the money. - The location was absolute stunning. Such a great location, next to all public transport. The mould in the bathroom was quite off putting. There was plenty of crockery, but only 2 butter knives, 2 wine glasses and 3 water glasses. It was ok, we just shared.

It was a little bit tired but that reflects in the price but no excuse for cleanliness
