• Пётр Шумов (9/5): Отель в одном из центральных районов Хайкоу в относительной отдаленности от туристических мест - Отель не в самом центре Хайкоу, мы использовали для отдыха во время длинной стыковки при перелёте, в номерах курят, соответственно запах, учитывайте при бронировании, завтрак нормальный можно и нудл суп заказать а так мини шведский стол, для коротких остановок рекомендую! Дверь душевой туалета (она единая) заедает, девушке открыть-закрыть будет сложно, возможно локальные проблемы конкретного номера

And the staff did raise her voice when i don’t understand her. Please impove it, write it down if you are not comfortable to speak in english. Voice activated lights gave me a chance to practice Mandarin. Slight odour in the bathroom because of poor plumbing designed drainage.

• Choon Yan (7/5): - Nearby shopping mall and 35 mins to airport. Hotel has free laundry and dryer for us to use which I like. There is a smelly smell in the toilet. I believe maybe coming from the toilet bowl or sewage system. The hotel seems old and the bed isn't as comfortable due to long usage. Apart from the smell in the toilet, the rest was okay.

These problems reduced after issues raised to housekeeping and front desk. Electronic lock failed preventing access after breakfast. Housekeeping came with physical key which did not fit keyhole. Only by luck electronic lock worked after sometime shaking the lock !

• KINGA (10/5): AMAZING !!!!!! - Amazing! Make sure u have adress in Chinese and show it to taxi driver… really nice hotel, comfortable and good location! I will be back:) good breakfast . Pillows and blankets are the best ! I went to 100 countries and never slept in such a comfortable bed ! They don’t speak English but they use transaltor so it’s easy to communicate and they are helpful.

The only negative is that there is only one girl at the reception who speaks English. But, the guides will help you.

• Richard (10/5): Great value in Haikou. - The hotel is new.. big rooms and state of the art. Impossible to fault it.!! A good breakfast ...free ...offered including western foods. The hotel also offers free laundry and ironing facilities and a free gym!!. Good wifi too. Was very quiet too. The staff were extremely helpful but as for all of China make sure u have a non google based translation app. The young fellow on reception at 5am even used his own app to pay and organize a taxi to the airport. There are many eateries very close by and shops. About 40 rmb trip to airport. All up...highly recommended. Great facilities and offerings at a budget cost. There was nothing I didn't like. I'm not sure where it is regarding tourist spots but taxis so cheap not an issue to get around

It was more likely difficulty rather than dislike. Reception staff doesn't speak English, so if you don't pre-download the Chinese owned apps, it might be quite hard to communicate with them. We stayed couple of night in different time. Rooms are clean but quite smelly(smoking). I thing this hotel used to allow people smoking in the room. And the bed is really firm. I mean really hard.

One was done the other was not as it is related to smoking smell and it seems like its the norm there that some guest can smoke inside room. Best is to ask for strictly non smoking
