• Mark (10/5): Great value stay. - Great room and shared space. Friendly welcome and early check-in. Opposite the station, I’ll look forward to staying again. Location, but it was just somewhere to sleep and right next to the Overground line.

Quando reservei não sabia que a anfitriã morava num quarto no flat, e não pode visitantes. Só devem ficar atentos a esse fato pois não vi nada sobre isso quando reservei.

• Nue82 (10/5): Fab location and place to stay - Repeat stay - all is well and a lovely host. Clean, comfortable and a full kitchen if you need it. So close to the tube.

• Steven (1/5): Avoid this place . It’s a total nightmare - Nothing Unsafe location, outside was dirty and smelly. When arrived walked straight out again and went to a better hotel. My safety is paramount. Host was unhelpful. Had heavy luggage but she offered no help to carry the luggage up a flight of stairs. This was another reason why I decided to not stay here. I submitted a photo of the entrance to the property but it is not shown here.theres garbage bags next to the front door and graffiti everywhere. Very unwelcoming scene late at night.

• Jean-patrique (7/5): Good location, clean and comfortable but lots of noise nearby. - The property is conveniently located near the station, it is clean and tidy and comfortable and access to the property was good. The Host was very helpful, the bathroom, bed linens and towels were clean and the kitchen was well-stocked and facilities available for self-catering were very good. The room backs onto a busy footpath which is a thorough-fare of people making noise until 1am on a Thursday and Friday night, making it difficult to sleep, as did the close proximity of the Docklands Light Railway with regular trains until a similar time and daylight streaming in around the edges of the roller blind from 4am in the summer made it difficult to get a good night's sleep unfortunately.
• Leven (8/5): Nice place, nice owner. But, there’ something to improve. - Really near the station which made my travel so convenient. The owner is so kind and very welcoming. Thank you! Throughout my stay, I woke up early in the morning (3 or 4 AM) because of the noise outside—not because of the train, but because of the people from the neighborhood. If you prefer a quiet place to sleep well, I don’t think this is the right place. But maybe bring some earplugs :) Lastly, I keep sneezing when I’m inside the room. Maybe there’s some dust or pollen that's not visible to the naked eye.

• Nue82 (10/5): Convenient and so clean it sparkles! - Stone's throw from Shadwell train station. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the bathroom facilities were sparkling. Do bring ear plugs as the train can be heard outside. It was great!

I was seeing friends in Wapping/St Katharine’s Dock and a show at Wilton’s Music Hall: all in easy walking distance. Plenty of nearby shops plus the market for food. Host unobtrusive but available if needed. Agree with other reviewers that a small shelf or bedside cabinet plus light would be useful but otherwise well equipped.

• Rizky (9/5): Superb - Location, hospitality, facilities, cleanliness Can be a little bit of a challenge to find the apartment. If you are a light sleeper, make sure you have earplugs since it can be quite noisy from the traffic and people talking outside.

• John (9/5): Great value for money, exceeds all expectations! - Marchela was very friendly and the flat is situated next to Shadwell station so a very good spot for travelling around the city. for central London it was very quiet despite it's busy location. No downsides in my opinion, very good value for money
• Joa_nna (9/5): Superb - The apartment is very clean, modern and beautiful. DLR and overground station are super close, it takes 2 minutes to get there. The room is very nice too, there is not too much space but the bed is big and very comfortable. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. The host is kind and friendly. There was a bit noisy, especially in the early mornings, you can hear the voices of people and other sounds from the street.

• Mikhail (8/5): A fine (not great, just fine) place to stay a night, relatively close to the city center. - Location was fine, 20 minutes walking distance from the Tower bridge. There is a train station in walking distance (2 minutes) from the place. There are few small grocery stores in the neighbourhood. The host was always available via booking.com's in-app messaging. The room is really small and other than a bed and a wardrobe does not have anything else - no table to put a laptop on. Not really suitable even for a stay longer than a couple of nights. • Roxana (10/5): One day in London - The cleanliness. Everything was neat and super clean The location is 20 minutes walking from Tower Bridge and around the corner of the Shadwell train station. Even when I did not use it, the kitchen is big and with enough room to sit several people. The owner is attentive to the guest needs. Everything was perfect

• Craig (9/5): Well-located and well-furnished flat perfect for a solo traveler. - Located in East London, and situated on both an Overground and DLR line, you can get anywhere you need to go in London easily and relatively quickly. There are corner stores and a barber within 30 seconds - 2 mins walk, and there are cafes and restaurants around the place. The only downside is that it's a ground floor flat, so the street noise can be a bother sometimes. You can hear the trains which isn't too much of an issue as that becomes background noise, but there were several times at night where local residents were yelling. The host can't help this obviously and it's no way their fault, and a pair of ear plugs will solve this issue.

• Jane (10/5): Lovely flat with a great host - Nice place to stay with a great host. The place is super clean and the bedroom is sufficient for a solo traveler. The bed is bigger than in the photos and it's a double bed. Lovely dining table and kitchen area, well-equipped if you would like to enjoy some takeaways. The bathroom has a heating rack, which is a very nice feature. The location is also great, close by Spitafield with many eateries and Tower Bridge. The stations Shadwell DLR and Overground is 1 mins walking. I also enjoyed lovely chats with the host, would come back if I'm back in London. It could get quite noisy due to the proximity to the stations, also in the weekend as people are out and about late at night. Be mindful if you're a light sleeper.

The bed is comfortable and the host was very welcoming and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay. The location is quite noisy due to traffic near the tube station and the noise of the overground trainline nearby. If you are a light sleeper you might welcome some ear plugs.

• Lisa (10/5): Amazing accommodation - Absolutely super friendly, nice and caring landlady!! :D She even took her time and helped me when I had unforeseen issues with foodstuff, public transport closures and allowed me to store my luggage beyond my stay. The accommodation is very tidy, clean, modern; with a spacious bathroom and kitchen and a big comfortable bed. There are multiple public transport stations almost right next to the building. My stay was so lovely, thank you very much! Just a few sketchy and loud people outside on weekend nights.
