The staff was really helpful and attentive, breakfast was good and the location is quite right: close enough to walk to the city centre but far enough to have a peaceful sleep. The restaurant was closed (festive days) but we loved having a couple of beers there, with a nice view of the town. Good choice for Popayan. We booked this place because it has parking, but suffered a bit with the space to park. Also, It can be hard to find if you're driving. We followed Google Maps' directions and ended up on another side of the same street, which was a dead end. We had to call them to find our way.

Es difícil encontrar el hotel la primera vez: Google Maps te lleva cerca, pero no directamente al hotel, hay que buscarlo. El jacuzzi en la habitación tiene un costo adicional

La habitación era cómoda y agradable, con camas muy confortables que hicieron nuestra estadía muy placentera. Como puntos a mejorar, la reserva incluía parqueadero, pero al llegar no había disponibilidad, y la ubicación en Maps estaba mal configurada, lo que dificultó encontrar el hotel.

• JUAN CAMILO (10/5): Excelente ubicación, atención y una vista espectacular - Nos hospedamos en Casa Loma y la experiencia fue muy buena. El hotel está muy bien ubicado en el centro histórico, lo que permite recorrer la ciudad caminando con total facilidad. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias y muy tranquilas, ideales para descansar. Un punto a destacar es la vista, realmente fenomenal, perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. Además, la atención del personal fue excelente, siempre amables y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. El desayuno estuvo bien servido y el ambiente del hotel es muy agradable, con espacios bien cuidados. Sin duda es un lugar al que volveríamos y que recomendamos para quienes buscan comodidad, buena ubicación y una experiencia agradable en Popayán.

• Diego (10/5): - El hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado, en el centro histórico, con una vista espectacular de la ciudad y su centro histórico, las habitaciones son excelentes, amplias, de la época colonial, perfecto para el ambiente del centro histórico de la ciudad, las personas que trabajan en el lugar fueron muy amables en todo momento, nos atendieron de lo mejor, nos ayudaron en todo, hasta el mismo dueño se puso a disposición de nosotros con el tema del parqueadero para nuestro automóvil, fue muy atento todos son unas excelentes personas, además tiene un restaurante que es de lo mejor en las comidas que nos sirvieron, este sitio es 10 de 10, super recomendado, muy seguramente estaré ahí nuevamente, muchas gracias!

Además de la amabilidad de los anfitriones No me gustó que al filtrar la busqueda de este hotel aparecía como 5 estrellas, y aunque es cómodo y bonito no cuenta con los servicios para calificarlo como 5 estrellas. Tal vez 3. No cuenta dentro de la habitaciones con un espacio adecuado para trabajar, aún así ofrecen un escritorio

AL parecer no tiene clara la politica, donde mediante un documento me garantizan la privacidad y el manejo seguro de documentos, en este caso mi cédula de ciudadanía. Por favor mejorar en este aspecto

• WILLIAM ELIECER (4/5): No fue lo que esperaba para las calificaciones que tenían - La atención del personal estuvo muy buena Iniciando la reserva realizada fue con un niño en donde en la plataforma indicaba desayuno incluido y en el lugar de atencion no se ofreció desayuno al niño, el servicio de parqueadero es limitado y no tuvimos espacio al momento de llegar, el desayuno no tuvo variedad y estuvo simple en preparación, el aseo al cuarto no se realizó (no se realizó orden del cuarto sin necesidad de cambiar tendidos de camas), al final de la estadía tuvimos un impase ya que el calefactor de agua se daño y no tuvo un arreglo óptimo

Estacionamiento incómodo; el servicio de agua es deficiente. El agua caliente en las duchas depende del uso-consumo por el servicio de jacuzzi. Las sillas del comedor sucias y desajustadas, a las habitaciones les falta mucho mantenimiento y mejor limpieza. Sin reserva de agua potable para atender contingencias.

• Wade (3/5): I will not stay here again. - The location was nice. The room had black mould on the walls around the bed. It was wallpapered over, but clearly visible. Corner moulding was used recently to hide it. Obviously an ongoing water issue. I had definite respiratory issues the morning after the first night. I wasn’t comfortable checking in, asked for another room. They offered a room at twice the price as the only option. The second night they moved us to a different room, but then rented the same room to another client the second night. Horrible.

• Joerg (3/5): bad experience and service, not recommended - I did not like this place nor the poor service for a 4 star hotel!! - the room had no windows to outside, only to the Reception side, we opened this window but got all the smoke and kitchen smell contaminating all our room (awful smell) - Shower did not work well - parking on site was not possible as advertised - Breakfast was expected at 7am, only 1 person, the second person came late at 7:20am, accordingly we had to wait a long time for starting this poor breakfast, instead of speeding up understaffed and too late coming personell, it was more important to deal with their own telefon instead of working, many other guests were frustrated for this long waiting breakfast time and attitude of the staff. - my hotel payment was requested to do at check out time, but no personell at the front desk, payment not possible, had to leave without payment, but did troublesome pay through electronic means later. -horrible service and never a 4 star level hotel - I do not recommend this hotel.
