I left my access key inside called and messaged no response and had to get alternative acvomodatin finally responded ned at 1AM. Not a single apology and let alone a word of empathy. Im not ever going back.

• Jay (10/5): Fabulous stay in a great location - There is so much to like about this flat. It’s very modern inside with heated floors in the bathroom, electric blinds, air conditioning etc. it’s also very cosy & warm, it feels homely. There is a nice comfy sofa with a spacious kitchen with everything you might need. The beds are comfy. It’s soo quiet which I was really surprised about given the location - there is an extra layer of glass against the windows. Richard was really helpful & so flexible. All in all it was a great stay. Not much really!
• nancy (10/5): Excellent location with a super host and modern, exceptionally comfortable and clean accommodation can’t be faulted!! a - The propert was an oasis of calm in the very heart of Charing Cross. Steps away from the Station/Strand/Trafgar Square. The communication with the host could not be faulted. He was very welcoming and professional. The room was SPOTLESSLY clean with excellent amenities, beautifully comfortable bed and linens, plenty of space to hanger clothes, selection of leads and chargers if required. The Bathroom is not in the room but immediately next door to the bedroom at a quiet end of the hallway so not a problem. Cannot fault the location/host/facilities or comfort! Only suggestion might be a bathrobe (perhaps it was there but didn’t see it or maybe available on request) as bathroom is outside the bedroom. Very very small detail and wouldn’t keep me from booking again!!
• TravelDerm (1/5): - If property owner was honest about the current situation of the apartment it could potencially be a nice accomodation Property owner did not disclose an information about the construction works taking place on the building windows and roof. Construction scaffoldings are covering all property windows. I refused to stay there and requested the refund, but the owner stopped responding to any contact attempts from booking customer service and there is no contact with him.

• Alyssa (6/5): While the apartment was clean, well-furnished, and in a great location, our stay was overshadowed by safety concerns and - The room and the apartment were beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt both comfortable and stylish. On top of that, the location was fantastic—conveniently situated near shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. Although the listing states that guests are welcome to use the common areas, we found this uncomfortable in practice, as the owner appeared to be conducting public meetings there, which made us hesitant to spend time in those spaces. Additionally, my friend and I felt unsafe during our stay. We were startled awake one night by someone attempting to open the door to what was advertised as our private room. On another occasion, we witnessed a homeless man trying to enter the building by attempting to guess the access code. These experiences left us feeling uneasy, and we believe the listing should more accurately reflect the conditions and expectations of the stay.

• Davisa (8/5): The location is wonderful! - Ian is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The room is a bit small but so clean and comfy. Just understand that you are renting a room in the host’s residence. The bedroom door doesn’t lock from the outside but we did not feel this was an issue. Just one small thing that would have made it better is if we had a small refrigerator in the room, however we used the host’s and it was not a problem at all.

Access to kitchen, fridge etc made breakfast easy. Ian’s communication terrific. Ask anything and he helps out.

The location was good because we could walk to many well know attractions or could take the train. Which was like 2 min walking distance. The room was clean and well kept.

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation, top attractions, and a variety of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself was beautifully designed, clean, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-stocked for light cooking, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the living area had a cozy yet contemporary feel. Ian was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating, providing clear instructions for check-in and helpful recommendations for local spots to visit. Overall, this apartment was the perfect base for exploring London, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. Highly recommended!

• Katherine (10/5): Excellent location, safe, and beautifully appointed! - Although I never met my host in person, his custodian handed me the keys and showed me everything about the apartment. She was so kind, and my host kept in touch with me consistently to make sure that I was taken care of. I felt safe and secure. The apartment was pristine and contained every modern appliance I could wish for. I was able to wash my clothes, make myself some tea, and I could have cooked meals if I so desired. It is a beautiful apartment with every amenity available and in the exact location I wanted--close to the Embankment metro (an easy commute to either airport), and within a short walking distance to all the West End theatres, bookstores, wonderful restaurants, and shops. Plus, the National Portrait Gallery, was a short block away. An added bonus was the FABULOUS shower. I couldn't have made a better choice for my stay! There wasn't anything I didn't like. The apartment is one flight up, and the windows are great for people watching. It is a safe environment and easy to find!
• Pat (8/5): Little gem - Absolutely super location, a walk away from the National where we saw the Van Gogh exhibition. A stroll from Charing Cross too. We used very little public transport, walking around this striking city. The flat was super and Ian was very personable and accommodating. We even liked the distant rumble of the underground! Oh, loved the art work too! Nothing, really nothing to criticise.

Not to mention a host who is always available. :) - The location of the apartment is great - you are within walking distance of Soho, the Portrait Gallery is just around the corner and there are plenty of culinary options in the immediate vicinity. The Chasing Cross and Enbankment train/bus stops provide excellent connections. If you want to consider it a minus point, then we can only criticize the lock of the room. This is a privacy lock, so the room can only be locked when you are in it. However, the door to the entire unit is locked with a numerical code - we got on well with this.

• John (9/5): Convienent and Safe for a Solo Tourist - The host, Ian, is a lovely and kind person. He made me feel at home and offered the use of the kitchen and living room. This was a room rental in a multi room option - there was a couple staying in another room but I never saw or heard them. The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom well appointed. Although the area is very active day and night the apartment itself is surprisingly quiet. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to many of the things I wanted to visit. Access to Charring Cross metro is literally steps away (very handy for transport to/from Gatwick airport). I would stay here again.

It offered a perfect experience right in the heart of London. We were able to walk to almost every attraction on our list and loved being so close to pubs, museums, and the tube station. The flat itself was updated and modern. Ian (the host) was wonderful, not only providing thorough written instructions for the amenities but also taking time to answer all my questions and making sure the flat was clean and well-stocked with the essentials when we arrived. We loved this apartment!! Our only concern was the thin walls within the building itself. We didn’t hear any noise from the neighbors, but with our two young children we were really worried that we were making too much noise!

Controller controlled blinders, dimmable lights. Tap gives you the kettle hot water. Own washing machine. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Air conditioner available. Very helpful host, answering by 30 min on WhatsApp. We were lucky and had the whole penthouse for ourselves. First time ever, I can't find anything to complain about. Impressed!

Its central location makes it easy to walk to Covent Garden, Chinatown, Soho, and Big Ben. Right next door, there are coffee shops and restaurants, and convenience stores are just a few steps away. I like the modern design—simple and practical. There's tons of hidden storage space to keep your belongings without cluttering the room during your stay. The bed is super comfy, with no street noise. The attached bathroom is top-notch—with a heated floor, and the shower is one of the best I've had in an Airbnb, with perfect water pressure and easy temperature adjustment. The place is clean and well-maintained, equipped with essentials like a long mirror, lint roller, umbrella, iron and etc. The AC and safe box come with handy instructions, and the host is just a message away via WhatsApp. If I'm ever back in London, I'm booking here again. Nothing. Keep up the good work; this place would be in high demand.

The owner of the apartment who lives in the same apartment was very friendly and always helpful with all the recommendations for the logistics and restaurants. We highly recommend to rent a room in this apartment. This is not something that we didn't like actually, because eventually it wasn't a problem for us. But when booking a room we didn't understand it from the description that it's a room in the apartment with the shared space/kichen. But there was an excellent bathroom in our room, we could lock our door and didn't have to interact with other people staying in the apartment, we didn't hear any noise from outside and we didn't use the shared spaces at all (though we could), so our stay was very comfortable, and we would stay at the same place again.
