• Kate (10/5): Fantastic hotel right in Old Quarter - On our arrrival we were given damp face towels, gruit and juice the freshen up. Excellent buffet breakfast in a small boutique old Quarter hotel. Noodles, egg fried rice, pancakes, fruit, bacon, sausages. Eggs made to order how you like and omelette or french toast available to order too. Staff were very lovely especially Lisa and Rosie. Rosie gave us plenty of advise for our onward trip and was very accommodating and helpful with our car to the airport. Bell boys were great help with our suitcases. Rooms were clean, bed very spacious and a fantastic shower. Fabulous service! Everything was great!

Ha Giang en Lan ha bay cruise. We kregen een upgrade naar een luxere kamer. Kamers zijn niet nieuw maar verder prima.

• Magis (9/5): Mooi/ goed gelegen hotel met lekker ontbijt! - Heel goed hotel! De immigratiecontrole duurde bijna 2 uur, maar de taxichauffeur van het hotel heeft al die tijd op ons gewacht. Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen. We hadden ook nog geen plannen voor de komende week en ze hielpen ons met een vrijblijvende planning. De kamer was proper en het ontbijt was zeer lekker. Zeker een aanrader!

• Tuan Linh (10/5): - Amazing stay and probably the best hotel staff experience we’ve had so far. From the very first day, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recommendations about where to go, what to visit in Hanoi, and helped us discover amazing local food spots, which was exactly what we were looking for during our trip. The breakfast service was excellent every single morning, and everyone genuinely tried their best to make us feel comfortable and cared for. This may not be a luxury 5-star hotel in terms of size, but the service is honestly 10/10. The warmth, kindness, and professionalism of the staff made our stay truly memorable. The only small issue happened on our second day when the batteries in the door locking system ran out. Luckily, a cleaning lady immediately contacted the front desk, and a young gentleman came and fixed everything within just a few minutes.

• Nathalia (10/5): Comfortable stay in Hanoi - Great value for money. All the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Lisa and Rosie made sure I had a great stay. Providing me with the train schedule for the train street was also super helpful! I got a room facing the back side of the building and I could not hear any noise during the night and slept very well. The location is also very good and I went everywhere walking. I particularly loved the coffee they served at the breakfast. The room is pretty spacious, the shower is good too and cleaning was also fine. I appreciated the bottles of water they left in the room every day and that they prepared breakfast for take away when I left very early. The pillows were too high for my taste. The breakfast does not have a huge variety but I had everything I usually have in the morning so that wss not an issue and totally in line with what I had in other small hotels in Vietnam (eggs, fruit, bread, yogurt...). It was also amazing that you could order eggs, omelete, pancakes to be prepared for you in the morning.

• Thomas H. Schmelzer (8/5): Kleines Hotel in der Altstadt mit tollen Mitarbeitern - Das Hotel befindet sich in der Altstadt von Hanoi, aber in einer relativ ruhigen Seitenstraße. Alles ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die Miteinander sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten für die erste Nacht ein sehr kleines Zimmer in dem die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert hat. Daraufhin bekam en wir für die restlichen zwei Nächste ein Upgrade auf ein besseres Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, insbesondere der vietnamesische Kaffee. Wir können das Hotel wirklich empfehlen. ./.

Rosie, la anfitriona, se comunicó conmigo antes de viajar y llegar al hotel, y estuvo atenta a resolver mis consultas y ayudarme con el transporte. El resto del personal, la recepcionista, los chicos que ayudan con las maletas, el del desayuno, todos muy muy atentos y amables, un 10! El dormitorio, la cama y el baño son grandes y cómodos, y estaba todo muy limpio, 10/10. Rosie también me explicó con un mapa, las actividades de la ciudad y la recepcionista, algunos tips de comida típica y restaurantes recomendados, lo cual me ayudó mucho a tener una experiencia muy agradable en Hanoi. El desayuno estaba muy bueno también. Nada, todo super bien.

Niets is haar teveel je vraagt het en ze regelt het. Mooie kamer, prima ontbijt. De locatie is centraal, vlakbij busstation naar het noorden. Je zit midden in de drukte maar merkt er niets van. Rosie bedankt voor alweer een fantastisch verblijf!! Tot volgend jaar!! Helemaal niets!!

• Claudia (9/5): Really well located and lovely hotel in Hanoi. - The staff was absolutely lovely and the hotel is perfectly positioned in the old town just few minutes from the lake. It is in a lovely busy area, full of restaurants and coffee shop and close to many attractions on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We initially had a room on the top floor and it was very quiet, the second time, yes we decided to return here again:), we could hear a bit more of the street noise, but nothing ear plugs would not block out. They also booked a food tour for us, and our guide Kevin was an abosolute delight. Breakfast offers a nice choice of good with a really good Pho. Highly recommended! Not much really :)

La chambre était propre est de taille idéale au 7ème étage donc peu de bruit. Le petit déjeuner conforme à nos attentes et même plus avec la crêpe banane chocolat qui nous a rappelés nos goûts européens ! Hun warmte en persoonlijke aandacht zorgen ervoor dat je je echt welkom voelt. Het hotel zelf is niet het nieuwste, maar dat past ook bij de charme van een historisch gebouw in het oude centrum. Voor deze prijsklasse mag je geen moderne luxe verwachten, maar de faciliteiten zijn degelijk en goed onderhouden. Opvallend genoeg was het bed misschien niet het meest nieuw, maar het sliep verrassend comfortabel. Wat dit hotel echt bijzonder maakt, is de service. Het personeel helpt je graag met het regelen van boekingen en bijvoorbeeld een taxi naar de luchthaven, wat het verblijf extra zorgeloos maakt. Een mooi detail: een collega die zelf een reis naar Ninh Binh had gemaakt, deelde spontaan lokale hapjes met gasten—een klein gebaar dat veel zegt over de betrokkenheid en vriendelijkheid van het team. Daarnaast is de ligging ideaal: alles in de oude stad is eenvoudig te voet bereikbaar, wat het een perfecte uitvalsbasis maakt om de omgeving te verkennen. Zij staat voor je klaar en denkt met je mee. Dat is heel fijn! Ook de rest van het personeel staat voor je klaar om je met alles te helpen.

• Katharina (8/5): Een gezellig hotel op een uitstekende locatie - Ik heb twee nachten doorgebracht in dit leuke hotel midden in het centrum van Hanoi. De kamers zijn van hoge kwaliteit, echter niet erg origineel ingericht. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vooral Rosie is een geweldige gastvrouw. Het lekkere en gevarieerde ontbijt (westers en Aziatisch, de eieren worden ook vers bereid) wordt beneden bij de ingang geserveerd. Helaas is deze ruimte wat donker en ruikt het er erg sterk naar de hartige Aziatische gerechten die in de keuken ernaast worden bereid.
• Chris (10/5): The staff were always helpful and Rosie the manager, fantastic.The room was clean and comfortable. - for a small boutique hotel the breakfast was great. Everything was fresh. There was a small buffet for fruit, cereal, breads etc and then they gave you a choice of cooking a couple of options fresh for you. It was always good. The street the hotel was in was short walk to the centre of Hanoi and there was a lovely rooftop bar 2 buildings down from it which had good cocktails. The staff went above and beyond in looking after us. Even the shower gel had a lovely fragrance and I want to buy some. There was nothing I could say I didn't like.

L’accueil a été particulièrement agréable grâce à Lisa, qui s’est montrée charmante et de très bon conseil tout au long de notre visite. L’établissement est idéalement situé en plein centre-ville, ce qui facilite les déplacements. Les chambres sont calmes et confortables. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cet hôtel.

O diferencial é o carinho no acolhimento pelos recepcionistas. Nesse particular, Rosie foi uma anfitriã extremamente atenciosa, educada, esforçada em proporcionar o bem-estar, auxiliando na seleção de passeios e mostrando-se diplomática para a solução de todas as tratativas. Rosie é uma excelente profissional e uma doce menina, que tornou a hospedagem uma excelente experiência.

Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins pour rendre votre séjour la plus confortable possible. Les chambres sont vraiment chouettes avec des fenêtres ce qui est rare a hanoi ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour et le recommandons. Nous reviendrons sans faute ! De ligging is centraal in de oude Franse wijk. Vlakbij het centrale meer en bij veel eetgelegenheden. Het interieur is hier en daar wat uit de tijd.
