Guest Reviews
- Davina (9/5): Wonderful stay near to all the major sights, great air-con - Great location ~15 mins walking Colliseum and ~20 mins to the centre e.g. Trevi Fountain. Located in Monti lovely for dinner and evening strolls/drinks. Very good air conditioning in all the rooms. We booked it because it was the end of August specifically because we were worried about the heat, it was perfect and we didn't have to walk far to see all the sights.
Recently refurbished throughout. Good selection of brand new crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Great communication from the person who met us there with the keys. Highly recommend the Indian restaurant downstairs if you fancy something different one evening. The pillows were too high, we couldn't use them without getting a bad neck so had to 'make' thinner ones by folding the blankets from under the bed and putting the pillow cases on top. The mosquito screen between the lounge and balcony is broken and there is no way to open the door to the balcony from the outside meaning that you have to leave it open when you are on the balcony i.e. no way to keep the mosquitos out (though to be honest we didn't actually see any mosquitos so it was less of a problem than it at first seemed).
- Rachelle (10/5): - This is a great apartment in Rome. Air conditioned, beautifully presented with plenty of room. The terrace is charming and a great spot to sit. plenty of good restaurants/grocery stores nearby and a short taxi ride to many attractions. Would highly recommend.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything we needed. The location was incredible, just off Via Nazionale and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and a stones throw from the Metro for The Vatican and sights further afield. The icing on the cake was the fantastic restaurants right outside, Da Trani and Hespresso in particular. There was so much choice all around we didn't need to venture out far from the apartment. Altogether a wonderful experience and we would definitely book this again. The apartment was so hot but not the owners fault, apparently this is down to the building management. We had to crank up the AC to counter balance it or open the windows and doors (and this was in February!).
Although it didn't offend us, during food service the communal area did smell of curry from the restaurant below (it smelt delicious actually!).
Lastly, one night we were woken by the bin collection but again, this can't be avoided in central Rome. Nothing that would stop us going back.
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jaya (10/5): Relaxed and enjoyable. - Just perfect….location, amenities, hospitality everything was 10/10. Nothing. May be add a microwave if possible. Helps in quick heating stuff.
