- Marika (4/5): Nice location, very dated apartment, very limited basic supplies given for your stay. - Location is great if you want to be on the beach. Next time I'd probably chose somewhere slightly closer to the shops/restaurants - not that they were far away but we had lots of rain during our stay so it would have been easier. Didn't like that we had to make our own beds on arrival - when I checked the property info again on booking.com this was mentioned but I hadn't noticed at the time of booking.
The welcome pack the rental company gives you is not enough for more than a day or two. We were given 1 sachet of dishwasher and dishwashing liquid so to do dishes for 5 days this is not enough and therefore we had to buy more - costs add up when having to buy basic supplies that you would expect an apartment to have.
We were asked to pack up all linen on the last day and to leave it out by 9.30 even though checkout isn't til 10.
There were noisy guests at the apartment block - not sure if these are also holiday rental or residents but we had little kids constantly running up and down the stairs.
They were small issues but considering there are lots of other accommodation available in Caloundra for similar price I would stay somewhere else with more supplies and not having to make/strip beds. We had friends stay at hotels during the same time and paid similar to us and they had wifi, lifts (rather than taking luggage up and down stairs), didn't have to make/strip beds and were given more supplies - don't think this place is good value for money

- Sarah (8/5): Perfect location in a functional flat that has plenty of room. - Perfect location opposite Bulcock beach with access to the lagoon, beachfront, playground and coffee cart immediately across the road. Beautiful views to glass house mountains and across the beachfront from balcony and living room. The furnishings and mattresses are all very dated and tired. Biggest limitation of the property is lack of wifi. I had thought it would just be available for additional purchase but was advised that the owners have not agreed to install wifi at all in this property.
