Guest Reviews
A bejárat barátságtalan, a szomszéd hangos.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nina (9/5): Really cool but a bit too cold - The location is very good, not far from almost everything. The flat was clean and nice, and we had everything we needed ! In winter it can be very cold in the flat, even though there is a heating supply but that’s it !
- Mr (10/5): Exceptional - Priya's apartment is indeed cosy. While compact, Priya has managed to make this place very accommodating, having everything needed for comfortable stays of either days or maybe longer.
There is a comfortable double bed, a full sized oven with four hobs, a microwave, kettle and enough cutlery and dishes etc for 2.
There is also a fully equipped bathroom with shampoo, shower gel, tooth paste and plenty of toilet roll plus other items any traveler could need.
The shower is adequate, and at 180cm I didn't find it hard to fit in and rinse off.
Other reviewers complained about the temperature however the air conditioning unit is a good quality one. Simply set to heat, the sun setting, and power mode and it turns the room into a furnace at 30c in no time.
Priya also put Christmas ornaments around the place, a nice touch.
On day of arrival Priya also let me bring my case and check in early. This personalised touch adds to the experience and makes Priyas place and the experience of staying at Priya's place even more comfortable.
Overall, Priya is doing a wonderful job managing and leasing this place and I will book again if available when I visit London. Everything was perfect.
- Carloid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tahj (6/5): Pleasant -
- Thais (8/5): Very good -
- Sheikh (9/5): A superb stay. - I liked the fact that it was a self contained apartment. There was more privacy. And it was fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The blinds didn’t close properly. And the light from the street was constantly disturbing.
- Flavius (7/5): Overall, the experience was decent. We booked this for the location, and not really for the room. - The location is very good and close to the tube. Also, the street is quiet and you have pretty everything you need nearby. The water heating system was very annoying, it could be easily upgraded with a classic water tap. Also, the bed's mattress was awful, even if the bed is really small (140x200), a good mattress could improve the stay a lot. Also, the floor was clear, but attention to small cleaning details would be required. Just spend 30 more minutes cleaning your room.
- Eugene (8/5): Weekend in Golders Green - Very good location, and the flat was neat and tidy No tele, wobbly bedside table
- Martelli (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very helpful and quick to respond.
- Jee (10/5): Exceptional - Good value and clean room on a cute and quiet street. Have all essentials you need. The Staff(Priya) was really communicative and helpful Shower booth a bit small but it’s ok
- Turunen (7/5): Good - Location was good - underground, stores and restaurants nearby. Check in was easy. Flat was tiny, but it worked for us perfectly. Washing machine was useful also. Minor problems: shower was bit tricky and we girls missed a mirror.
- Gabriel (5/5): Poor cleaning, with good facilities. Uncomfortable to have shower as an adult. - Washing machine is the best asset of the location. Finding long hair in the bed and toilet is not but a prove that cleaning was neglected.
- Marko (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money for London.
Close to tube station.
- Malwina (8/5): Very good - Good location, very comfortable All good, I recommend
- Joanna (8/5): Very good - location was nice, really comfy bed, it was nice to have cosmetics in the bathroom but it wasn't mentioned on the site so I didn't know and bring mine anyway the shower wasn't fully covered so it was easy to splash water on the ground
- Iryna (10/5): Feels like home - The location was very close to the Golders Green underground station and bus/coach stops.
I liked everything in the flat. The host was beyond friendly, she was really caring and ready to supply us with anything we might fancy. Though we had absolutely everything, there were several heaters in the flat, we didn't use them but if you are travelling in chilly weather, those may come in handy. Lots of clean towels, crispy linen, a fully stocked kitchen, a hair dryer, a vacuum cleaner, an iron - the flat lacked nothing!
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (9/5): Enchanting, tiny flat with full equipment - It was such a cute and cosy, tiny flat. The tube / bus station Golders Green was 5 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The heater is a little diva to use. A short guide would have been nice. Where we could take our rubbish was a bit unclear, too.
- Mohammed (7/5): Good -
- Maria (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent. It was clean 👌 Too small and no TV.
- Khadiza (8/5): Very good -
- Katarina (10/5): GREAT accommodation in a good location. - In the first place flat has amazing location. Golders green is a place where is metro station (underground) and very quickly you can be in city center, second thing is that very very close to the flat runs buses whose get you to London luton airport and also London stansted airport. (You can be in underground and bus station by foot about 5 minutes) The street where the flat is located is full of bars, coffee shops, restaurants etc. flat is completely same as on the pictures in booking. It’s true that bathroom is small but everything there works good. Flat number 2 we’re stayed, was very clean and smells very good. You can also use kitchen (everything important is there for breakfast or fast cooking) and washing machine was perfect plus for this flat (especially when you travel only with one bag via wizzair etc.) price for staying is really perfect, price equals quality. the only one thing what I would change if I could is bed. For one person is big enough but not very comfortable (but very clean) but for two persons it’s very difficult to sleep (and we’re not fat haha). But if you don’t have big budget this accommodation is perfect for you. If I come back to London again I’ll again choose this accommodation for staying. Thank for everything. Everything was very good.
- Zivile (4/5): Disappointing - Good location, quite clean, kitchen has what you need to cook smthg small. Decent space and bed size for 1-2 people. Photos are deceiving. From the photos posted on advertisement it looks like studio is on a ground floor as there's a photo of the outside door and then the windows of the flat on a right with the door opened to it. When in fact the photos of the studio advertised is on a 1st floor and there's a staircase. I booked this studio as I had impression it is on a ground floor, my fault maybe as should have confirmed with the owner and also was dropped off by a taxi with my suitcases and had no option but to stay. I had few large suitcases and bags with me and had to carry everything upstairs and down when leaving which caused me pulling my back. Even that was hard as it was small space even to open the door and staircase was very narrow. Would not recommend this place for people with big suitcases. Also it would be helpful to add a pic of staircase in advertisement so people are aware of this.
Another dissapointed was shower. I only had to use it morning before leaving and couldn't take it. The water heater in shower was not in working order. It was doing different things on different settings. Water was off when set on HOT and when on OFF it was running. Also the temperature 🌡 of water was changing from boiling hot to ice cold without even changing the temperature. Unfortunately, I had no time to play with it or contact the owner about this or get it sorted as was taking shower only before leaving and had no time as was rushing for the taxi.
- Luisa (8/5): Very good. Great place, very well located, super nice owner. - Very good overall. Nice location and very comfortable. Had all the basic amenities and made it very fun and easy
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (9/5): Affordable for London - we would stay again. - True to photos and description. Property was warm in winter and adequate space for a couple. Excellent location and access to Golders Green amenities and Tube. Shower wasn’t luxury but did the job.
- Andrea (8/5): The room was as expected, not particularly wide but nice and cleaned. Excellent option when in London. -
- Malwina (9/5): Superb - Good location, quiet area, property is very cosy and nice.
- Hayley (9/5): Superb - We loved our stay here. It was in a very good location and easy to get to and from the city through the underground. It is a cute little studio with everything you would need! The suburb of golderns green was also very lovely and we felt very welcomed there. There’s lots of cafes and a supermarket right near by which was very convenient! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in London!
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Daniel (7/5): Very good - Good location, clean bed and superb apartment for its price. Heating was also great. Bathroom’s floor was always super cold, toilet seat too. Also toilet was always making flush noises, but if you close the door and it’s okay. I lived on a second floor, but every time that I entered the apartment, it had a smell, smell inside the booked room was okay tho.
- Oyinlola (7/5): It was a good stay. Location is very central. - Cosy and clean. Very helpful host.
- Mia (4/5): Disappointing - Overall is tidy. The flat is too small to open luggage for 2 people, and the bathroom is so dusky that is hard to see when taking shower.
- Sabina (7/5): A pleasant stay in a small apartment. - We found it easy to locate, just under 10 minutes walk to the underground, wasn’t difficult even with carrying our luggage. A few minor adjustments to the property would make it more serviceable. It is a very small apartment but has all you need if you want to save some money by eating at home. The owner was very helpful. The garbage bins outside were overflowing and during the night people or foxes rummaging through it.
- Manjit (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Really nice open room with a working kitchen and had big windows to let in nice sunlight. Was also very good location close to shops & cafes as well as the underground train station. Was right in front of some big rubbish bins and couldn’t leave the window open all the time as the smell of the rubbish would creep in. Also the stairs for upstairs room was quite narrow so it is hard to get luggage up but it can be done with 2 people.
- Sylvia (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (5/5): Passable - Great location A bit cramped. The bed is small for 2 people
- Jonathan (8/5): Did what it said on the tin. Good comms from the owner. Thanks -
- Steven (9/5): Great place to stay to visit London - Location is great, easy to get to by Metro, 5 minute walk from the Metro station, flat - no uphill if you have suitcases. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very quiet for sleeping. Kind of small, nowhere to really sit. Kitchen area is tiny
- Ahmed_md (6/5): Pleasant - Great location Mattress is very uncomfortable
- Bassam (9/5): nice! - The studio was lovely and clean , It has everything you need The ceiling of the bathroom was a bit low
- Siriwan (10/5): Comfy, super clean stay with all new amenities! - Excellent studio that’s super clean and provided all new amenities. Great caring Host and easy communication. Cobble street outside entrance door was a step up too high, should have a permanent platform built for easier access.
- Paula (5/5): Good bedsit option on a budget - Bedsit is in a great location, hosts very helpful and responsive, bedsit has good amount of amenities No double glazing so there was a good bit of street noise, strong smell of disinfectant in the bedsit which in the warm weather stuck to my clothes
- Mia (7/5): Good -
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Katie (7/5): Nice small and content flat with good location - Location and small and tidy
- Vasileios (8/5): Quiet, studio flat close to transport links - Very close to transpor hubs. Quiet. Responsive hosts with questions Toiletries felt like a mis-match of whatever was left voer
- Hristina (9/5): A charming little place perfect for a short stay - I loved the place - it is tiny(but that is clearly stated in the description) yet it has everything you may need, including a full kitchen, washing machine, drying rack and toiletries. It even has an iron and ironing board and full-size wardrobe where you can hang long clothing.
After spending the previous few days in a cold room with no heating, I was pleasantly surprised to find this little studio fit with an AC and not 1 but 2 radiators.
The location is more than what you would wish for for the money and the city. While the little back alley on which the studio sits looks suspicious at first, it is actually very safe and quiet. The neighbourhood is lovely! So peaceful and picturesque. There is a whole street full of restaurants and stores, a big park and the Tube is just 5 mins away as well as busses to Stanstead and Luton.
The host is super friendly and responded to my questions quickly. They even give you a list of suggestions for places to visit around the studio and they were on point! One of the places suggested - Likya Turkish restaurant was so delicious!
Overall - a great and comfortable stay! Of course, every stay has things that are "not like at home" or you could do without them, but I don't think these were in any way the host's fault, so I don't have anything to complain about :)))
- Ajan (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (9/5): Superb - It was really nice
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Sergio (7/5): Good for limited budgets, well connected to the transport. - The flat was small but really comfortable, it was clean and ordered, and it looks like recently remodelled. It was easy to reach and well connected with several bus lines and the metro station within 200m, and 30 minutes from central London with metro. The walls are really thin, so there was lots of noise, you can hear the conversations of the people in the other flat, in our case some people in the other room were leaving at 4 am and We woke up because of the noise. Also, the bed is next to the window and you can hear the people passing all night.
The wifi password was wrong in the instructions, but I could find it on the modem sticker.
- Vdajana (9/5): Tiny apartament near metro station - Great position, easy to get to the city center, staff is very available and helpful, apartment is tiny but clean. Would reccomend for a short stay in London. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Everything is ok, nothing to complain
- Josephine (8/5): Very good -
- Josephine (8/5): Very good - The host was very kind and understanding.
- Nur (10/5): Lovely stay - I loved everything about the studio. Close to the Golders Green tube station, less than 10 minutes of walking. A lot of shops, supermarkets and eateries nearby. Very easy check-in process, we were given the passcode to the lockbox on the day of arrival to retrieve the key. Priya responded to queries promptly. The studio has everything you need, including the kitchen essentials.
- Tehila (7/5): Good - the apartment was cleanand close to tube station no wifi!
wierd operation with the shower
- Malwina (9/5): we enjoyed stay in this property, definitely we will be back - cosy, clean, higly recommended nothing to complain about
- Ameena (2/5): Very poor - It's a lovely apartment with lots of potential, the linen was clean, owner friendly and the location is excellent... The entire apartment from the downstairs staircase to the bathroom upstairs smelt of cigarette smoke that was difficult to get rid off. We opened all windows despite the cold weather. The owner brought us a fragrant infuser but that didn't make much difference. I went out and bought air freshener and did some cleaning myself. The kitchen and oven were not very clean. Bathroom is tiny. Hot water kept vascillating between being unbearably hot and cold. The kettle element was burnt and gave off a terrible smell. We removed it from the apartment but alas we're not issued with a replacement kettle so we stayed without a kettle all weekend.
- Veronika (8/5): Very good - The owner of the apartment is amazing person, helped in any situation, explained everything and gave a lot of advice where to go. The apartment is small but clean, has small kitchen and fridge, shower and toilet also we're clean. It was really cold in the apartment, I need to use the heater at the night. Also as of now they fix the road outside the window and the noice was terrible, to get to the apartment with begs were difficult.
- Bruna (10/5): Perfect! - The apartment is in a very nice area, quiet yet surrounded by many places to eat if you want to hang around. It is not far from central London and the underground station is just a 5 min walk.
The house is not so big but it’s very well equipped, there’s everything you might need and even more.
The host is really nice and available. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable but it’s ok for a 5/6 night stay
- Maia (10/5): Exceptional - Small but cosy, easy to find and close to the tube. Stayed here twice and it is my go to when going to london. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Chrisandsophie (4/5): Great if you're not a sensitive sleeper - It's a property with all the facilities you need, a quick walk from the tube station. I was pleasantly surprised by how many facilities the host offered: washing up liquid, even a washing machine, all the things you need for a shower, soap etc. Very well equipped, plenty of good lighting.
The bed was quite comfortable but keep in mind that it's very sensitive memory foam so it will form a dent where you'be been lying, not everyone likes it I guess.
The host was very friendly and helpful at all times. Unfortunately, the flat is a part of a house, which separates flats with only a stud wall between them (very thin, with little or no sound insulation). I woke up every time my neighbors from the side and the upstairs walked around, especially when they came back in/went out. At the beginning I heard the sounds and thought there was someone in my room. Sleep is quite important to me and staying in this room made me feel very tired because I woke up at 5am and could get to sleep because of other people. If you can sleep in noisy environments it won't be a problem for you.
Also I found the shower quite hard to use, I wonder if because this flat is AirBnB style, the host should consider providing more welcome notes on arriving about how to use various appliances, like the shower, and to let the guests know that the doors lock shut as I wasn't sure about that.
- Kat (6/5): Pleasant - We chose the accommodation because of the location. The tube takes 20 minutes to get to the centre. And there's a National Express bus stop to Stansted Airport nearby, which you'll appreciate on an early morning flight. Handing over the keys was easy. The location was quiet, the accommodation clean. The bed was really soft and uncomfortable. Really small for two. Yes, I'm used to small beds from the UK, I don't expect a double bed, but this was an uncomfortable sofa bed. If you only go to the flat to sleep, you can stand it.
Worse was the water crash in the street. The owner informed us of the crash, I'm grateful for that, it was fair of her. Unfortunately we could only get into the street one way and we were walking ankle deep in water. Which was unpleasant. There was no water pressure in the shower though. You really couldn't shower or wash your hair in it. There was very little water flowing. I believe it was the breakdown of the water that caused this inconvenience.
- Natalia (9/5): Superb - The studio was very comfortable. There were many details like a bottle of water, a cereal bar, a fresh air device, iron machine, hair dryer, nice shampoo and gel. Location very convenient for this area.
- Tony (3/5): bathroom was way too tiny and I couldn’t get warm - Location was fantastic
owner was very helpful Property was cold
roadworks got in the way
- Ibrahim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): easy and convenient - ease of booking and key collection. comfortable bed. good facilities. all the utensils on the back of the bathroom door is really irritating. fuse in fusebox kept tripping on main radiator. Lack of a tv
- Maksymilian (7/5): Good - Very helpful landlady it was quite cold inside
- Marwo (8/5): Perfect place to stay if you wanna just be a little outside the centre. Has all that you can possibly need. Great transp - A lovely studio conveniently located in Golders Green. Has everything you might possibly need. Great hospitality! Just needs a better shower system as the shower would randomly go cold or stop working.
- Marwo (8/5): It was a great place to stay overall, great location. - The property was clean and organised. The shower was frustrating to work, it would randomly go cold.
- Ian (10/5): Superb apartment, well-placed for shops and tube station - A lovely self- contained apartment with everything you would need. Fantastic loction on a quite street right behind the main thoroughfare with restaurants and shops literally round the corner. A 5 minute walk to the tube station and then half hour into the centre. Priya, the host, was super friendly with great communication and a wealth of local knowledge and tips.
- Ayush (9/5): Superb -
- Suki (7/5): Good - Good location, convinient to get food around that area. It is hard for me to carry luggage up and down due to the narrow stair case.
- Ahmed_md (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (9/5): Excellent, ideal location, responsive hosts, great value - Excellent location, everything we needed, right by the tube, great restaurants, attentive hosts
- Freddie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Memduh (9/5): Superb - It wasn't good to have to close the desk when there was a need to go to the bathroom while working at the desk. However, if they mounted the table 5-10 cm to the left, there would be no such problem. It would be better if there was also an iron and an ironing board.
- Vidya (9/5): It was a really pleasant stay and the host was very helpful all the time whenever I needed help in t -
- Maia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yun-jin (7/5): Good - Heater is not working.
Shower water is too cold.
- Razmani (7/5): Very good and just need a few little improvements. Sure to come again. - Everything is fine. Improvement:
1) the shower section is a little too tight and needs expansion so that guests can shower comfortably.
2) the blinds for the windows needs to be changed to curtains both day and black out so that guests can have complete privacy.
- Lauren (10/5): As an overseas visitor this was a very cool and cosy flat. - Great place to stay! Good price. I was impressed that host had provided all bathroom, bedroom and kitchen amenities. Wish I booked for another night. Will recommend to any Australian friends I have visiting this area of the UK. The only “negative” was that I was too weak/ it was difficult to carry my 25kilo suitcase to the flat bedroom as it’s at the top of stairs. I just kept my suitcase at the bottom of the stairs (still inside the door) and took whatever I needed out. That’s not a bad reflection of this place - just note that if you have big, heavy bags.
