Guest Reviews
- Glyn (4/5): I would not recommend this place - It was close to where I needed to be. The kitchen was fairly well equipped The wifi was very poor. The bed was uncomfortable. Everything about the room was very tired and old. The room was dirty in places. The electrical installation looked out of date and there was no information about when it was installed or last checked.
- Peter (9/5): - Great location, comfy, spacious, simple clear check in process close to local shops, goog kitchen facilities. Excellent value for money Nothing much, I imagine it might get quite hot in summer as it's a suntrap (welcome in winter tho)

- Ahmad (5/5): - Easy to check in. Host was helpful with fixing an issue. The kitchen is relatively well equipped. The room was very small and tight. The internet was slow. The whole floor has a dirty carpet. A window couldn't be locked (but was fixed by the host). Overall: too expensive for the quality.
- Diana (10/5): Fabulous find! - Studio flat was very well equipped and very clean. Great value, great location.
Definitely stay here again.
- Johnny (6/5): - A nice studio The shower room was a bit flooded, and I had to wait a few minutes before I could use the shower again. It was dirty, only one towel was provided, and there was no bath mat.
- B. (8/5): A nice small studio - The place is relatively central, in a quiet street, but in front of the storage of a food producer, which could mean that you get a few times a day the noise of a delivery truck. In one week, I slept very well, although I am sensitive to noise. I didn´t hear the neighbours at all, except this single day, when one was speaking in the floor, but somehow, room 6 is isolated from the others, that might get different experiences.
The room (6) has big windows facing south, it can become warm in summer, despite the fan. The good curtains however can blind the light well, if you need to sleep late. The room is equipped for cooking, with a microwaves and cooking plates, and a washing machine in the cellar.
The host was very reactive, every time that I had a question, and sent some very clear check in information with pictures. My biggest critic about the studio was the very poor internet. Do not rent this place if you need a good WIFI access. Streaming was obviously impossible, but even loading a simple internet page could take up to 30 seconds on some days. After mentioning the problem, the host provided me a second WIFI access, that was nearly as bad as the first. It is a bit strange, because there were internet routers all over the different floors, but the result was pretty bad.
You could also see some minor traces of use from previous guests (staying one week, I spent time cleaning), but this was totally consistent with the reasonable price of the studio.
- Gediminas (10/5): My stay was delightful, featuring a cozy room, a friendly host, and excellent access to public transport—all at a fantas - I recently had a wonderful stay at this cozy accommodation. Perfect place for a short visit, the room, though small, was incredibly comfortable and well-decorated, creating a warm ambiance. The host was exceptionally nice, welcoming us with genuine hospitality.
One of the highlights was the excellent communication with the city center. The location is very convenient, situated near bus stations and the metro, making it easy to explore all that the area has to offer.
At such a good price, the value for what you receive is outstanding, making it ideal for solo travelers. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat without breaking the bank!
- Jose (5/5): Cheap place to stay close to King Cross - Close to center It's in the middle of an industrial area
- Alan (5/5): Passable -
- Rachael (7/5): Great value - location might not suit solo females - Well-stocked single room with its own kitchen facilities made this a very good value. Tiny sink made it impossible to wash my face without making a mess. Experience would have been improved with more towels available. Also, off the beaten track location is not ideal for the solo female traveller at night. Much as I liked the place and the owners, I would have to think twice about staying here on my own again.
- Aimee (7/5): Adequate accommodation for reasonable price - Bed comfortable, room very clean and easy to access. Had all amenities required. Only space heater didn’t work, and window had been left on latch when I arrived. I could not get the room to an acceptable temperature until just before I checked out.
- Jon (3/5): Grotty unsafe room, awful host - Room was well equipped as described in listing Worst check in experience ever. Host demanded multiple forms of ID be sent to a whatsapp address outside of booking.com system before giving the self check in details. This is not mentioned in the listing and is against booking.com policy. It took several phone calls and messages to both booking.com customer support and the host, who in the end would not allow me to stay without me handing over ID despite booking.com support telling me not to. This feels like an identity theft scam. The day after the booking, I started receiving cryptocurrency scam messages to my whatsapp account. It took several messages and phone calls to get the checkin details on the day of the booking even when ID had been sent and I was left waiting outside the property.
Room itself is tiny - the small single bed touches both walls. There's stains, holes, and screws sticking out of the wall (looks like a shelf was once there next to the bed but has been ripped off leaving the pointy end of the screws sticking out. The shower hose has split meaning barely any water comes out of the head. Furniture is broken and shabby. Worst of all, the smoke alarms have been removed and are hanging out of the ceiling.
I wasn't expecting the lap of luxury but the checkin process was unnecessarily traumatic and the room is a bit of a dump.
- Ukdamo (6/5): met my needs and would use again - Handy for chippy / Sainsbury's local Obtaining the access code was a faff - not sent, and took two calls from me to sort.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
