La localisation de l’hôtel à proximité du métro 2 qui amène directement au People’s Park et à Taikoo Li, la proximité de Kuanzhai Alley (10/15 minutes à pied de l’hôtel), la présence d’excellents restaurants de hot pot dans la rue…

Ils étaient toujours prêts à aider en cas de besoin, toujours souriants. L'emplacement est super pour rejoindre le métro, les 2 parcs à proximité sont exceptionnels, d'une rare beauté. L'hôtel est magnifique, il n'y a rien de mieux que de s'asseoir en terrasse et contempler la vue. Pas d'ascenseur, c'est un peu dommage lorsqu'on a une chambre aux étages. Sinon rien à signaler.

They obviously are passionate about customer service and this is obvious by how hard they try every day to make your stay special Breakfast is amazing and as a vegan I had many options. Frühstücksbuffet ist klein, aber sehr gut. Es werden Speisen frisch zubereitet. Eigenes Hotel-Restaurant ist sehr gut. Mit der U-Bahn ist man sehr gut angebunden.

They helped us to book activities, get a taxi from the airport, gave us recommendations, carry the luggage through the stairs, and made sure we were well settled. Also it’s the first time I see a hotel being 100% accurate with its pictures, and that’s worth noting. It’s even nicer when you’re there! We slept really well, it was very silent (the windows seem doubled) and the amenities are great to just chill around.

- Karl (10/5): A beautiful traditional sanctuary and the best possible introduction to China - This was the most beautiful, charming hotel I have ever stayed in . I am so lucky to have stayed here on my first visit to China. It is in a prime location on Quintai Road, near a park, Kwanzai Rd and the people’s park. It is a quiet street with a beautiful courtyard. The rooms are comfortable, clean and beautifuly decorated. The building is in a traditional style as is the whole road. Reception can arrange tickets for Sichuan Opera a short walk away. There is a Michelin rated hot pot restaurant a short walk away. The staff are all kind and attentive, especially Juliya,Emma ,Lareina ,Zach, Joey and Yin Juan. I have nothing but respect for these people and will never forget the kindness and hospitality they showed me during the week I stayed here. I will miss this place. Nothing, it was perfect

From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed. There were complimentary wine and snacks on arrival, they arranged airport pickup for us, and they even offer free laundry service, which was such a nice touch during our trip. The location is excellent, and the hotel’s restaurant is absolutely awesome — we ended up having dinner there every day because the food was so good. The only small thing we didn’t really love was the breakfast, which was quite plain. However, it did not make our stay any less amazing.

Auch der Besuch eines im Park befindlichen Theater ist lohnens Wert. Das Zimmer entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Trotz, dass es im Erdgeschoss gelegne ist, war es sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr umfangreich ausgelegt, aber für uns ausreichend. Da wir nur 2 Nächte die Untewrkunft genutzt haben und unserer Vorstellung entsprach gibt es keine weitere Mängel.

- Gönczi (10/5): An excellent hotel with great value for money - The hotel is centrally located, about a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen metro station (Metro Line 2). The building reflects traditional Chinese architectural style and is truly impressive. Everyone at the reception speaks excellent English and is incredibly helpful. There is no elevator in the hotel, but the staff help carry luggage upstairs. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The fridge was stocked with complimentary soft drinks and water, and fresh fruit was provided on the first day. At breakfast, both Western and Chinese dishes were available, and everything was very fresh and delicious. There is an excellent restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel with a diverse menu. I ate there three times, and each meal was outstanding. The nearby streets are full of cafés, tea houses, and supermarkets. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Juliya, Emma, Lareina, and Joey once again—they all did everything to ensure I had a perfect one-week stay at the hotel. -

- Mark Stephen Leonituk (10/5): we were treated like royalty at this beautiful, traditional hotel - Staff here is absolutely exceptional, especially Frank from the front desk. We had so many questions when we arrived, since it's hard to find information on china in the west, and Frank was more than happy to answer all. We've never been treated so well by a hotel in our lives. The services are incredible. They did a bag of laundry for us at no charge. At around 3pm on one of our days there, they brought us tea and snacks at no charge. They left two small bottles of wine and more snacks in our room on our second day to welcome us. We asked Frank for a good place to get a “xi’an or chinese hamburger” and he was going to order the food to our room! They absolutely bend over backwards to make your stay in chengdu wonderful. The amazing treatment we received also felt genuine, not contrived for a big tip of good review on booking.com – they really just pride themselves on making their guests have a great stay. The hotel itself is in an old part of the city, and it was really beautiful to be in that area; it's very well situated and walking distance to a major subway stop. We actually took the subway from the airport to the hotel, and it was fast and convenient - probably faster than taking a car through the traffic. The room was large, clean, and well-laid out. Beds were comfortable, although a little hard, but that's common in asia. It had a mini fridge, kettle, and things to make tea or coffee. No safe in the room. No smart TV, but again, that's typical for china. All we could watch was CGTV :-D The bathroom is nice and big, and the shower had good pressure with consistent water temperature. The only thing is the lighting and the bathroom is a little dismal, and as with every hotel bathroom, it could use more hooks! There was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, but no lotion (which is typical for asia). Air conditioning worked really well in the room! This is very unusual for china! The breakfast was okay, but definitely geared more towards an asian tourist. There were lots of choices, but nothing really western, other than some toast and boiled eggs. They had noodles, soup, and some fried options, fried cumin potatoes, fruit, yogurt, etc. We had lunch at the restaurant there too, and got the sticky rice and kung pao chicken, which was very good.

The English-speaking service made everything much easier, especially as a visitor. The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks—they were a nice touch after a long day of exploring. The hotel also offers free laundry, which was super convenient during my trip. The location is excellent. It’s right next to the Sichuan Theatre, making it easy to catch a show, and it’s also very close to the metro and bike rentals, so getting around the city was simple and convenient. Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service. I would definitely stay here again!

Tive uma indisposição por 2 dias, onde necessitei de uma dieta específica e eles prontamente nos ajudaram. O quarto em que fiquei era amplo e bem conservado, tudo funcionou perfeitamente bem (minha esposa elogiou o secador de cabelo). No quarto era reposto água, chá e café de cortesia diariamente. Não tomamos café da manhã no hotel pois saíamos muito cedo, mas eles providenciavam um kit para viagem. Fomos recebidos com chá, vinho, frutas e snacks; achei muito gentil o hotel lembrar que seus hóspedes chegam cansados e oferecerem esses agrados. Nosso check-out foi às 6 da manhã, então eles também ofereceram transfer até a estação de trem, uma sacola com itens de café da manhã (ovos, pães, leite, iogurte, castanhas e laranjas) para comermos no trem e pandas de pelúcia para levarmos de lembrança. Amamos a experiência de nos hospedar nesse hotel de estilo chinês e recomendo fortemente.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the old town, very close to subway line 2, and can be reached easily by metro. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very experienced in welcoming European guests, which made our stay especially comfortable. The hotel also has its own highly authentic restaurant with very reasonable prices. Laundry services are available as well—either washed directly at the hotel or sent out for professional cleaning, depending on your preference. A special thank you to Juliya, Emma, Lareina, and Joey, as well as the entire team, for the outstanding service and for always being helpful with information and requests. It was truly wonderful, and we felt completely at home.

- KoSchr (9/5): Schönes Hotel mit gutem Standort - Das Hotel hat ein sehr schönes Flair mit dem alten Courtyard und wir haben es genossen, draussen auf dem Balkon vor dem Zimmer morgens und abends sitzen zu können. Es liegt sehr zentral, um verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Besonders ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Angestellten Juliya, Emma, Lareina,and Joey an an der Rezeption hervorzuheben, die sehr gut Englisch sprechen. Super ist auch, dass Wäsche kostenlos und sehr schnell gewaschen wurde, und auch Obst und Wein als Gastgeschenk im Zimmer zur Verfügung stand. Zimmer und Bad waren relativ gross und sehr sauber, aber leider dunkel, da es vorne kein Fenster gibt und die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, ist aber voll funktional. Insgesamt finden wir das Hotel absolut empfehlenswert!

The location was quite good as well and our room, which was huge and very comfy. The staff were maybe the best we have ever encountered! Super helpful and accommodating! For example, one morning we went to the pandas earlier than breakfast, and they prepared a small pack for us! It's also amazing that they offer free laundry. Would highly recommend!!! One very small detail - you may be able to hear a bit of the sounds from the street at night. Not too big of a deal but somethibg to keep in mind.

Potential guests should consider the lack of a lift. The hotel is, however, only 3 stories. The design of the room means that there isn't a substantial amount of natural light.

They had a full selection. They also had some American dishes. Some of the dishes I can remember are noodle dish, stir fried veggies, potato dish, Japanese bread, fresh fruit, canned fruit, boiled eggs, fried eggs, hot soup, yogurt, cereal, milk, rolls, and salad. We looked forward to their breakfast. All the staff (Juliya, Emma, Lareina, and Joey) were all so helpful and sweet. They spoke great English so it was extremely easy to get help from them. We would recommend this hotel. We thought the room was a little dark.

- Nanette (9/5): Fijn hotel, op prima locatie met zeer vriendelijk personeel - Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam We boekten via het hotel een vrij dure excursie, maar helaas viel deze tegen. In plaats van een gids kregen we alleen een chauffeur mee die nauwelijks Engels sprak. Hierdoor kon hij ons niet uitleggen hoe alles werkte op de locaties die we bezochten. We werden afgezet bij grote terreinen met veel tempels en bezienswaardigheden, maar het was totaal onduidelijk waar we precies naartoe moesten, waar we tickets konden kopen en hoe we onze tijd het beste konden indelen. Er was geen enkele vorm van begeleiding of uitleg, waardoor we alles zelf moesten uitzoeken en we behoorlijk wat gemist hebben. Voor de prijs die we hebben betaald, hadden we echt meer service en duidelijkheid verwacht. Deze excursie is wat ons betreft geen aanrader, voor veel minder geld hadden we een taxi kunnen regelen naar de locaties.

Tho sometimes I couldnt understand her dialect but I can feel her caring to make sure I feel comfortable during my stay. The location is close to most of the attraction too! The room has some smell , not smelly but perhaps from the wooden furniture?
