Guest Reviews
- Alex (6/5): - Staff It's hard to locate since they use a different name on ground. On ground and on location it's called seven oranges hotel but here it's Qi cheng.which confuses
- Juan (1/5): Booking en China no funciona. - El Hotel no está en la dirección que se indica en Booking. Imposible contactar con ellos para solucionar problemas.

- Daniel (10/5): Always improving, always trying to make you feel at home. - I run an educational consulting company and come to Shenzhen often. I always stay at 7 Orange. :) I just wanted to say that this hotel was great when I first came here, but it has been improving. The elevators are very attractive now, they offer very nice, thick cotton towels for your shower...every time I come back, there is something new. So I think the owner/s read the comments and are always looking for ways to improve the hotel. The staff is very kind and they are there 24 hours. Easy check-in, easy departure, a hard-working staff to clean your room if you want it cleaned (you can have your privacy as well). It's just a great place for me to stay when I come into this city. I wish I could have stayed there longer. :)
- Daniel (10/5): I dropped by again and was grateful for the nice place and staff. - I always stay at this hotel when I come to Shenzhen. It is affordable and clean and close to the number 5 subway station. Everything is fine.
- Cuitlahuac (8/5): -
- Ivan (1/5): Отвратительный отель, худший в Шэньчжэне - — Все было ужасно, грязная комната и грубый персонал
- Damahom (6/5): -
- Mei Ling (5/5): Mainly booked here as it's nearby the Shenzhen North station - It was alright, just wanted a night to rest The entrance to the place can be rather dodgy, having arrived at night.
- Dhiradj (4/5): -
- Alberto (7/5): - La ubicación cerca de la estación de tren. Está en un callejón y no está indicado correctamente
- Nehal Huda (1/5): - Nothing Everything

- Daniel (10/5): Affordable and Clean, Great Staff - I run a little business in Jiangsu Province but I have to come down to Shenzhen every now and then. I always stay at "7 Orange" because the staff is excellent and I get a good, clean room for a reasonable amount of money. Thank you to the staff... Everything is OK.
- Junaid (2/5): Very poor - Cheap but worse. So I would say value for money. It wasn’t clean enough.
- Das (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Good, clean hotel with nice people working there. - So I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, within a short time - so I definitely think it is a good hotel. Trying not to repeat what I said before, I really liked how easy it was to communicate with this hotel via email. I often sent messages in English and they responded in English.
This hotel was a good experience - I don't need anything fancy and they provided everything that I needed. The restroom was clean and spacious, with a "Western" toilet (not a squat toilet - believe me, there are still some hotels that have squat toilets :P). The bed was comfortable. There was room to move around the room and a desk where I could place my laptop and do some work.
There were lots of places around the hotel to eat and a subway station within walking distance (Number 5 line). You are also within walking distance of the Shenzhen North high speed train station. So if you want to come into Shenzhen and get into a hotel within a brief period of time, I would highly recommend this place.
They have staff at the front desk 24 hours a day and they will really help you if you need help. They also have bottles of water and tea you can buy at standard rates (3 rmb per bottle of water). Everything was fine, I like to keep things positive, it's a nice, clean hotel with good people working there.
- Daniel (10/5): This is a good, decent, clean hotel run by a very responsible chain. - The hotel has everything you need. A good bed, air conditioning, a TV, a nice shower/restroom with a Western toilet. Good staff, very kind and helpful. I liked nearly everything. It takes a little bit of a walk to get to the subway, but I didn't care as I took the Didi most of the time.
- Daniel (10/5): If you want to save money but still stay in a comfy, nice hotel, 7 Orange (Qi Cheng) is the place. - This is an excellent hotel, especially for the affordable price. There is a 24 hour, very kind staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I had a large bed, a nice restroom and the air conditioning worked well.
If you are a foreigner in China, and worried about hotel quality, I can tell you not to worry about this place. :)
I also had a window in my room for natural light. I was able to clean my clothes for free (that was an extra bonus) by myself - they have machines available.
Even though I was a foreigner, they were able to communicate with me well using a translation device. They also have a lot of bottles of water and tea and soda to buy very inexpensively. Everyone was kind to me - even the room cleaners, who work very hard. Honestly, I was so happy with this hotel. Very comfortable, clean room with good A/C. Also a nice TV but I never watched it because I don't understand Chinese. Wifi worked OK as well.
The only thing that wasn't "perfect" was the number 5 train line. But I was able to transfer to other lines easily. It is a short walk to the 5 line.
- Lloyd (7/5): Too much noise - The room was neat. There was too much noise at the hotel
- Vinesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohamed (3/5): Poor -
- Abhijit (8/5): Very good -
- Hoi (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (10/5): Simple, cheap, and efficient. If you need this, this hotel is your champion. - Very minimal. Very. I mean disposable shower towels minimal. But if Greentree is all booked up at it’s almost 1:00 in the morning and you need a place to lay your head for the night that feels safe, secure, and relatively clean and on a budget, this is it. 20 minute walk to the train station and only 187 yuan. Yeah I know, 20 minute walk, but you can do it! Maybe it will be a little hard to find for inexperienced China travelers. Just ask the guard out front and he will tell you it’s on the third floor. The Orange Hotel sign is displayed in the ally. This may sound creepy, but trust me this is China, this is how they roll. Bring your own snacks, get a nice sleep in the comfy bed, and continue with your journey. 20 minute walk from the train station. I’m American, I haven’t walked for 20 minutes total in my whole life!
- Kh (6/5): good - location low facilities
- Omid (1/5): Bad - Not recommended rude staff and scammers
- Ashraf (3/5): Poor -
- Ikechukwu (4/5): Disappointing - the staff was friendly and helpful the facility was poor and lift surface was horrible
- Global (10/5): Exceptional -
- Randolph (8/5): Very good - No Breakfest. Area had lots of food. The elevator was being used for construction.
- Dénes (5/5): Little dirty, little crappy but saved our journey. - Location Dirtiness of the whole building, elevators, corridors
- Bashir (7/5): Good -
- Albert (4/5): Disappointing -
- Rami (6/5): Pleasant -
- Warren (7/5): Serviceable - Convenient for a North Station arrival. Not convenient for visiting popular tourist areas.
- Calvin (7/5): Good -
- Maxwell (1/5): Bad - Unfortunately , after checking out my plans for my next trip was canceled so I had to rebook same hotel for one more night. I upgraded to a bigger room for comfort but the room they gave me wasn't already used by someone so I asked them to clean the room so I can occupy it. That room was already occupied by someone and the person had just checked out. Instead of them changing the bed spread and the used items, no they used the used items upon complaining, they kicked me out Only the disposal towels. Something I can say was quite good
- Ashraf (6/5): Pleasant -
- Riemer (5/5): Passable - It was very hard to find. Nearly impossible. The addresses (especially to a foreigner) make little sense. The online staff was helpfull but not actually in the property themselves.
The check-in was very functional however, the staff was a bit cold.
Also I my room smelt strongly like it had been smoked in, even though there was clearly a no smoking sign.
- Muhammad (7/5): Good -
