• kunal (7/5): Comfortable - The property is nice a quite spacious for a family with all the basic amenities. It’s well located near to major attractions with connectivity via public transport. It was nice stay altogether Some parts of the property a bit aged out due to wear and tear but that’s fine to be overlooked as they are not in compromising state, and a recommendation to connect with the host directly to understand the house rules rather going with what’s listed on the booking website.

• Dale (1/5): Avoid at all costs! - The property was infested with bed bugs, we contacted the property and booking.com for a refund or alternative accommodation. Nothing was offered. We had to move to a Premier Inn at a cost of £622 on top of what we paid. Please avoid! The bed bugs

• Ansar (1/5): The apartment was unclean with stained floors, stained sofas, broken mattresses, no light in room so overall a Pathetic - There was not anything particular to like except that the location was good, central to attractive tourist spots. The property was very unclean overall with urine or bad stains in one of the toilets and we had to clean all the rooms and toilets ourselves. The sofa beds had stains and mattresses on beds had broken springs which affected our sleep immensely. One of the rooms had no light in it which is obviously a turnoff as well for tourists like us who are paying huge money. There were no washroom slippers and we had to use the uncleaned dirty stained washrooms bare foot. Overall we had a pathetic experience living here and will never recommend anyone to book this property. The owner was very rude when asked to improve the services and said that we are nobody to ask him about how to run or improve the business.
• Charlotte (9/5): Superb - Great location, friendly hosts, very spacious and comfortable flat. Two bathrooms was great and it was a really fantastic space. Nice and quiet in the evenings and everything we needed. We couldn't get the WiFi to work and there was no main light in the bedroom, just wires hanging from the ceiling.

• Anonymous (6/5): Overall was ok for only one night. - Over all the property was ok, we felt safe once inside it , nice piece of furniture. Comfortable bed Area wasn’t the best, I didn’t have curtains pole in my room, I had to throw the curtains on top of the open window, the other room didn’t have the main bulb neither the light shade just a piece of electrical cable coming down the ceiling. The only light was a bedside light. The water in the bathroom was continuously dripping, we have try to fix but didn’t work. No air con and it was boiling hot. Lots of left over cigarettes inside s plant pit in the balcony.

• Jane (4/5): Not great - Large living room and kitchen. Nice and clean, shower nice and powerful Bit tired, curtains hung up with gaffer tape, no wifi, tv didn't have any channels, next door played music really loud until the early hours and beds not comfy.
• Lisa (2/5): Wouldn't recommend, Not like photos - 40 min bus ride to central London IF, if the flat was in a good BASIC condition and a true reflection of photos advertising it, then it would have been good value for money. Do not pay any more than £125 for this property, you are certainly compromising even a basic standard at this price. Bedding smelt clean. Didn't match photos advertised. Poor state of repair eg curtain taped up with gaffer tape, outside area had junk piled up like a rolled up rug, painting stool, pots, disused chairs - nothing like photo as advertised. Broken bath panel, mould on bathroom floor tiles, stained chairs and cushions, cigarette burn in chair, discoloration in toilets, ceiling light in bedroom not working. No instructions for WiFi which didn't come up as an available network. Could only watch BBC iPlayer on TV. Uncomfy beds Towels found in bin liner under one of the double beds. Noisy persistent car revving at 3 am (not owners fault) Unexpected check in requests that were not specified or made clear on booking and payment, but suddenly on day of arrival whilst we were en route to property - could have easily been caught out! On returning home, I have learnt that other guests experienced bed bugs in this property!

The location is also very convenient and central and there were a lot of shops close by to pick up any last minute items. The host was also very kind and helpful, he guided us through the whole check in and check out process very professionally. Amazing price for such a central location, would love to stay here again!

• Emma (3/5): Great sized but poor upkeep of property. - Convenient location to explore London. Good sized flat. Good WiFi. Unfortunately there had been a flood the day before so the floor covering was wet. But it was the curtain gaffer taped to the window, ripped sheet for the sofa bed, thin mattress, poor towels, broken bath panel, etc, which concerned us more.

• Olivia (1/5): Disgraceful - Nothing!! Would never recommend anyone to book this place !! The showers need to be fixed as it floods, and will leak into both the main bedroom and the hallway. This has resulted in mould growing in the hallway, bedrooms, and bathroom. When provided with sheets for the fold out bed, they hadn’t been washed, and didn’t fit the couch. The curtains in the bedrooms and living room were broken. We stayed for the one night, and have requested a refund for the other nights we havent stayed but the owner hasn’t responded to us and is also ignoring booking.com - we are now seeking legal action !! We also had my 81 year old grandfather with us, who had a fall due to the uneven pavement and has now got a black eye and has hurt his knee.

• Catherine (1/5): Bad - Our stay was awful. The sofa in the apartment was infested with bed bugs, leaving one of our group bitten and unable to sleep. The host was dismissive and unhelpful when we reported the issue, offering no resolution and no compensation. On top of that, the check-in process was stressful and it was not clear. This was a truly disappointing experience, and we would not recommend staying here.
• Poppe (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE UNTIL DEEP CLEAN AND REPAIRS ARE MADE!! - The host was good about answering messages. He allowed us to drop off bags early and leave them later. There was a cute breakfast restaurant not far away. Close to grocery stores and busses. The pictures are not like the apartment. The rooms are not bright and airy. The apartment smells bad. The windows don't open properly. There is a leak in the hallway bathroom that floods the floor every day. We had to use at least one full towel a day to keep it dry. Because of the leak, the entire hallway floor and bedrooms are water logged. When you walk on the floors, your feet are wet. The landlord said he has been working on the problem, but they have not been able to find a solution. ALL four people that slept in the living room ended up covered in BED BUG BITES. I assume at this point that they have bed bugs in the couches. We had to take the kids to the doctor to get diagnosed and medicine. I am currently working with the co-host to find a solution for reimbursement of the rental fees. NO ONE IS RESPONDING AND BOOKING.COM WON'T HELP US EITHER. We should not have left covered in large, puss-filled welts. No one should be staying in that apartment. I'm sure the soaked floors are becoming moldy and unsafe.

• Michelle (1/5): I called booking.com within 10 minutes and told them I was leaving and wanted a refund - Nothing it was nothing like the photos The skirting boards are rotting off the walls, the doors and walls are filthy, there is a large hole in the bath panel, the bed didn’t seem clean. It seemed to have been sprayed with a nice smelling fluid but not washed.

• Brenda (8/5): Ideal location for a short stay - The location was ideal - just 5 minutes walk to Old Street bus and train station. Having an elevator in the building was great to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor and for the elders in our family as well🙂. The neighborhood is quiet and felt quite safe. The apartment was very clean and pleasant with all necessary furnishings and equipment. The beds were comfortable and having the pull-out couch beds served our group of 8 well. We were happy for the towels and the blankets and the fans in the bedrooms. The bathrooms and the kitchen could use a bit of sprucing up - maybe a quick paint job. Replace the extremely old pots and pans and ensure that the dishwasher is repaired so that it washes the dishes cleaner.

Should give me a discount for the inconvenience caused to my family and me. I have informed owner. Not worth the price I paid. Pls give me a discount.
• Oleg (6/5): Practical place to explore London - Perfect location, good size, good furniture, decent value. Windows in both bedrooms did not open (on a hot day) and staff did not do anything about it. Kitchen indifferently equipped; pans unusable.

• Joanne (5/5): Poor - The cost of the accommodation was a lot cheaper that most places. The accommodation was outdated, and both the main bathroom and ensuite were in need of a deep clean and renovation. The door to the apartment didn't feel secure. There was also a broken window in the living room that didn't lock again, making the accommodation unsecure. I wouldn't book to stay in this accommodation again.

The apartment was very spacious and handy for travelling in bigger groups. There were some broken appliances but not many. Overall the property was great for a short trip.

• J (3/5): Apartment with potential, but sadly quite dirty - The communication with the host and the organisation for getting the keys was good and easy. Also the area in which the apartment is was nice. There is a really nice pub and a café directly at the corner of the street. Also you can find small supermarkets just a few mimutes away. The apartment was very big and had a nice layout. There would be lots of potential. But sadly it was quite dirty. There was lots of broken furniture, dirty and dusty corners, mold in the shower and hair in the bathroom. The WiFi and with it the TV did‘nt work. With a little bit of effort, a deep clean and some repaired or new pieces of furniture the place would be much greater.
