• Monique (8/5): - The property itself was large and clean and in a good position. Unfortunately when booking I didn’t see anywhere it was hoped out privately and not by the Q1 resort themselves. This was disappointing to find out when we went to hire towels for the pool and the staff member advised we were unable to do so as it wasn’t hired through them. We were unable to swim unless we went to purchase towels. If it is hired out privately the hosts should provide pool towels.

Kitchen utensils and pots and pans could be cleaner. Air con doesnt go below 22 degrees and can only do bedeooms or living areas, cant cool both areas simultaneously.

• KAT (9/5): A great stay for 2 nights would love to come back and stay longer - The views were amazing. The size of the apartment was great for 5 adults and having the extra powder room was good. The kitchen had everything you needed. The tall tumbler glasses were dirty it looked as though it was the soap leftover from the dishwasher so maybe a service is needed on the dishwasher. Also it's a non smoking premises so to find a joint left on the wicker table wasn't the best thing to find either.

• Penny (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable stay with ocean views. - The apartment suited our group really well. The sea views were relaxing and the location was perfect. The facilities were great. The lifts took way too long! A couple of lifts were getting repaired which is why but there are not enough lifts to cater for the amount of people using accommodation.

Broken furniture, terrible smell of rotten food comes out of the drain, and a really bad smell when having a shower. All hand wash pump bottles were empty. Food left in cupboards, wasn’t very clean at all. For $750 a night we expected luxuries but exactly the opposite.

• Roger (7/5): Good value and excellent views but at this time of the year, the air conditioning was inadequate. - Breakfast not provided. Magnificent views from 30th floor and easy access. Fox tv. Agent met us outside the building with keys and helpful information. Car park provided. Apartment faces east. Strong sun in the mornings requires all blinds to be shut to prevent speedy temperature rise. Air conditioner was fundamentally ineffective and made things uncomfortable. Balcony was actually enclosed by glass and not open to the air. It had windows which could be opened but it would have been nice to be able to have an "open" balcony with a rail. Toilet seat had been broken by earlier occupants and owner informed.

• Anne (10/5): Q1 was very close to Cavil avenue and easy access to the supermarket and bottle shop. - The unit was exactly what we wanted. it felt like being at home unit needed a small bin in the bathrooms. The unit was air bnb so no help from the hotel reception when wanting to book breakfast on the skydeck. They were quite rude.

The unit is clean and fabulous and has everything that we need. Location is great. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again. My kids were complaining about their beds, they say a bit hard for them, they slept on top of doonah, maybe bed toppers would be a good idea . We couldn't fault with ours in master's bedroom tho, I slept well. 😉
