• Leah (7/5): - Good location if you’re mainly interested in restaurants and dining options, though not ideal for shopping. Perth CBD is within walking distance, which is convenient. The apartment itself is older but perfectly acceptable. It’s well-equipped with a large fridge, plus a washer and dryer, which is handy for longer stays. Across the road is a community service provider for disadvantaged people. While this may not bother everyone, it could feel confronting or a little unsettling for families with young children. The apartment has no parking. Off street parking is limited to a maximum 2hours Monday to Saturday, which can be inconvenient if you have a car.

My experience was severely impacted by misleading information, lack of proper communication, and unacceptable accommodation conditions. I request a full investigation and appropriate compensation for the distress and physical harm caused. 1. Misleading Property Description The listing presented the property as an apartment hotel; however, it is in fact an Airbnb-style accommodation only. This crucial distinction was not clearly highlighted on the Booking.com platform. Had the listing been transparent, I would have reconsidered my booking decision. 2. Failure to Disclose Lift Outage Prior to Payment The owner failed to mention that the building lift was out of service until after I had paid the booking fee. This omission appears intentional and deceptive. If I had known that I would be required to carry a 20 kg suitcase up six levels of L-shaped stairs (my room, Level 3, equating to six floors), I would never have proceeded with this booking. 3. Physical Injury and Distress As a result of the excessive stair climbing with heavy luggage, I sustained an injury to my left foot (photo attached). The physical strain and pain caused were significant and entirely avoidable had accurate information been provided upfront. 4. Delay in Providing Room Access Code I did not receive the access password for Room 311 until approximately 3:45 pm, despite already climbing all the stairs to reach the room. This forced me to make unnecessary repeated trips up and down, further aggravating the pain in my legs and feet. The access information should have been sent well in advance of check-in. 5.
