Nassimah (6/5): Nice house, but needs a lot more welcoming essentials. - The cleanliness and spaciousness of the house. The air condition in sweltering heat. We were allowed to check out a bit later. Thank you. The overhead lighting, especially in the bedrooms, was extremely harsh and unwelcoming. Some bedside table lamps I think are essential, as well as a top sheet on the beds. Only the bottom sheet was provided for the beds, and a small polyester blanket, which I found very unusual and again rather uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Sheets on a bed - bottom sheet and top sheet to cover yourself with, are basic requirements, I think. The information given to us beforehand was quite minimal, and came in bits and drabs. After spending a very hot and thirsty first night,(we were there for two nights altogether and arrived too late to buy any provisions ) the managing agent messaged me the following morning saying there was a water filter outside by the garage…again, something pretty basic which would have been nice to know beforehand, or at least included in the information booklet which was on the kitchen counter. I think leaving a welcoming bottle of water in the fridge itself would be the right thing to do, instead of having to hunt around for the water filter. Especially in the 35 degree heat. These are small details which would have made a big difference. A pity really, as the house has great potential.
