- Paula (6/5): Fantastic location, but the listing description doesn't match what you'll experience. - The location was excellent - local to shops, a fantastic park, the Tube, and a fun pub. Despite being on a busier street than anticipated the interior was fairly quiet. We also appreciated having an outdoor space since the weather was sunny and mild. Listing photos and description should be updated, the actual no longer matches was is presented. Communication with the owner when we had problems was very slow, and little to no help offered. Serious plumbing problems were not disclosed to us - the downstair toilet wasn't working, the upstairs main bathroom sink leaked all over the floor, the hot water runs out quickly, and shower water pressure isn't dependable nor what should be considered standard. The house was tidy, but not clean. There is very little available storage as most cabinets are full of the owner's items. The second bed mattress is quite uncomfortable. The carpet is buckling in places and is a trip hazard. Overall, the house needs repairs and attention to the overall upkeep.

2. we had a flight canceled on us and could come to the uk one day later than original booking; the host agree to shift our reservation in one day
3. The property is as shown in the pics. 1. In order to get the key, you need to go to some shop, which is a 6-minute walk from the apartment. This is not convenient when coming with luggage and family with small kids, especially in bad weather.
2. more than half of the closets are filled with the owner's clothes and belongings.

The water pressure is very low in the showers to start with; we had a specific problem that the toilets were running nonstop, which caused the showers not to work, and it was a nightmare with our small kids. It took the host 4 days to solve this issue even though we told him it's a nightmare for us. Also, the bath didn't work for the full duration of our stay.
3. The owner offered us 250 pounds as compensation out of the 2000 pounds paid for a week at what we thought is a luxury house, and then he disappeared, stopped answering messages, and didn't compensate us at all.
- Stephen (1/5): Bathroom Disaster - The location was excellent. Its a lovely house close to everything. The decor is nice looking and comfortable. The shower had no water pressure, the bath had a huge leak and very difficult to regulate the temperature. It even leaked into the kitchen at one point. The landlord suggested we juat clean this ourselves with towels. The dishwasher wasn't working. The heating was broken.
For the heating they have seperate air-conditioning so that work in its place easily.
We were told on our first day that everything would be fixed. I did ask to move if not but was assured it would be. In reality the landlord just strung me along saying it would be fixed until finally it was not. So we had to have awful showers. It clearly happens alot as they have instructions in a book on how to fix the water pressure.
So nice on the surface but low quality underneath. Not worth the high price point. It definitely tainted our holiday, having to constantly chase the landlord about it and meet electrians and plumbers.
The landlord offered us no compensation. Booking.com offered us 1% back of what we paid.
- Laura (10/5): Perfect stay - The house was perfect, just what you want whilst staying in Notting Hill. The interior was beautiful, the location was amazing.
The heated floors in the bathrooms were a special treat, especially in winter.
Communication was great and we were even allowed to check in a bit earlier which was lovely.

- Ole (10/5): We enjoyed a perfect stay - The location is excellent, the flat is in a very nice neighborhood. It was just a short walk to a variety of supermarkets and shops. We also appreciated the be close to a metro station with good connections.
The flat is very nicely and modern decorated, with a lot of light. We felt very much at home, and loved to stay there. The flat had all the equipment we needed. And it was wonderful that both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a glass ceiling, and gave a kind of outdoor indoors feeling.
The host, Schalk is really helpful and friendly. That felt very safe to have his help at hand, if needed. He was kind and let us in early and let us keep the flat a while longer. That meant very much to us. Not anything worth mentioning except that we couldn't find the key to the garden door. The host was most helpful.

- Neil (8/5): Charming house in fantastic location in London ideal for a weekend getaway - The location was excellent with the Main Street just around the corner and the house has lots of charm and character. Kitchen was really easy to use with a nice big fridge. Only one set of keys can be problematic as a group if some of you were doing different things. Tap on bath would not switch over to allow cold water

- Chris (9/5): Great apartment in a pleasant neighbourhood - Excellent apartment, fully equipped, two bathrooms and two bedrooms, so very convenient for two couples. It was warm in London, so the small terrace at the back was pleasant. Food shops within 200 meters, great restaurants nearby, hosts have prepared a good listing of everything. It is not cheap, but excellent value. The only negative was the noise in the bedroom facing the street. Could not open the window, but the aircondition does work and is quiet. The beds are not huge.

- Alexis (10/5): Short stay in fabulous Notting Hill house.....picture perfect! - Location was very good, 5 mins walk from tube and waitrose/m&S food/Tesco express and even a cute pub around the corner we had issues on arrival with the downstairs loo not flushing which did resolve itself but on our last night it then would not stop flushing. The host arranged for someone to come the following day after check out to fix it but the noise was a bit distracting, however we were offered a late check out which came in very handy so all things considered very happy
- Leena (10/5): Amazing cozy Notting Hill Flat - This property is totally amazing with a cozy yet modern feel and lots of natural light. It is only a few minutes walk from the Tube station with supermarkets and many other amenities nearby. The two bedrooms are en suite which is great for privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms
are well equipped. The owner Shalk is very friendly, attentive and accessible. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning for sure when visiting London again.
