Guest Reviews
- Considine (9/5): - Clean, modern and good location Need TV in bedroom
- David (5/5): Passable - Quite comfortable Hairs left inside the shower and outside the shower in the bathroom so not clean.
Also hairs in bed in duvet.
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Prompt response times by the host. Getting the key was a very convoluted process, unpleasant after being on the road and then looking in freezing cold Canberra. Getting out was confusing too.
- Viviane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (6/5): Good location - Location was good - easy access to Canberra Centre zcross thd road. Instructions were clear for keys & access. Facilities were good though. No GSM in the building, lounge was super uncomfortable, dogs barking. No coffee pods for machine.
- Janine (6/5): Overpriced and not clean - Location was good, close to the shops and nice to have a car park included. Apartment smelt and wasn’t cleaned properly. I had bites on my body after staying. Dogs barking and noisy.
Thought it was overpriced.
We also stayed at The Mark across the road and it was brilliant and a better price, unfortunately it wasn’t available to extend.
- Shania (10/5): Amazing - Everything
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Kaurna (3/5): Poor - Location No reception for TV
No service for phone only could use WiFi (messenger) to make calls
Had to wait 30mins to arrive with keys apon arriving and booking 2 hrs prior.
- K (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional - Location Nothing.
- Hisako (9/5): Watch instruction video before getting to hotel - Clean and many nice amenities.
I had a hard time finding room, so I should have followed the owner's instructions, which explained in more detail about the procedures in a YouTube video. (I would suggest putting the links to the YouTube videos first and then further explaining the steps in the video as well as other instructions that weren't mentioned.) Light from the outside can be seen through the bedroom window.
I found it annoying as I was unable to pull the blind down to cover it, so I often woke up to lights that dimmed and suddenly became bright.
- Candice (8/5): Stylish apartment but little things could be better - Perfect location, walking distance to CBD. A few good cafe just at door step. Apartment is quite new, reasonable size for a family of 4. Kitchen is fully equipped. I didn't get check-in instruction until 1.5 hours later than check in time, and I had to remind the host. Small things for improvement, room curtain is a bit out of shape, the lights from walkway could not get blocked completely.
I would suggest to supply small package of toiletries, so the leftover toiletries can be disposed.
TV remove is not working well. Only if you really want to watch certain programs, you may find a bit annoying.
- Glenn (7/5): Good - location was great no cups, plates ect
- Nicola (8/5): Central Comfort - Convenient location for CBD restaurants and shops.Good sized apartment with parking Pre arrival access arrangements should be clearer in Booking.com
- Kerrin (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (6/5): Once I accessed the unit & had settled in I was comfortable for the most part. - Location, spaciousness, cleanliness Uncomfortable bed, faulty TV remote, lack of instructions for cooktop, inadequate bedroom blind.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Ting (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (1/5): Worst experience ever and definitely wouldn’t Recommend to anyone! - that it was only for one night where do I start!
Arrived and couldn’t find letterbox for swipe card and garage remote. called the number provided and she told us it wasn’t SAFE enough to leave them where she first posted (after we were walking around looking for the letterbox in the unsafe area), We then had to drive to front of the apartment block, in an unfamiliar city to get the swipe card and garage key only to drive again around to garage location but before that..had to watch a video on where to park beforehand and retain all the information because you couldn’t get reception under there! You had to drive around and around and around like a maze to get to the private carpark which was tight and confusing at best. One of the lifts up to the floor was taped up with plastic and looked unsafe and dodgy which was not a good first impression but it was a sign of what was to come.
upon entering the apartment the whole complex smelled like chinese food, and once we opened the door it smelled like stale food and cold. The sliding door was left open and the curtain tied in a knot. It took us awhile to work out the air conditioner to set it to heating the room because there were NO booklets or instructions. The floors were dirty and a footprint was clearly visible with a hair stuck to the floor next to it. It had clearly NOT been cleaned for awhile because there was dirt and dust on all skirting boards and the coffee table was dirty as was the canister on the bench.
There were more rules in the apartment than anything because there were warnings of being charged for everything if you didn’t do this or that which was rude considering they did not provide any Foxtel, Netflix or UTube which was boring because internet service was zero. We couldn’t access the internet whatsoever. The decor was as cheap as you could get. uncomfortable lounge, bare necessities, cheap appliances and the towels were scratchy.
- Diann (10/5): Great place and great location - I loved this place. It was big enough for us, it has all the facilities we needed. It was in a great location. Once we found the keys and navigated the car park, everything else was good. I have already recommended this place to family.
- H (6/5): Good Unit but Unpleasant Communications - The location is strategic. Near the CBD, lots of restaurants nearby, and the Canberra Centre shopping mall is just a stone's throw away. The apartment is nice and well-equipped. (1) The entrance to the underground parking is not easily found. (2) The power points locations in the unit are not user-friendly. (3) The communication with the owner was extremely annoying. They sent long house rules and requirements. Everything makes you feel like in case of anything, there won't be any help/support provided, but just a series of punishments. The worst thing was, they were sent REPEATEDLY! When you get into the unit, these are again seen at the entry door and fridge! Late checkout is $30 for every 15 mins. Need to leave towels and bath mats in the laundry sink. Need to bring along garbage. Photo proof is required upon key return. The most speechless thing was - she cheekily asked for a 10-star review without even asking how we feel, and in the meantime treated their guests like boarding school students or prisoners. If you don't want to experience all this, better go to a hotel.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional - Safe, clean, great location
- Scott (8/5): Great location - Great location, very modern, secure parking Key pickup was convoluted, someone next door kept slamming their door early morning, bed was way too hard, while the apartment was quite well stocked (coffee etc) there was no milk or sugar, only part of a roll of toilet paper for a two night stay in unit.
- Kerry (7/5): Great location, not great with a car, too hard to get access. Lots of codes and regulations. - The apartment was very comfortable and close to a large shopping centre which was great. The check in and check out arrangements were very convoluted, with long messages from the host. We had a car and there was no where to park while we got the access card from the locked post box. We then had to get up to the apartment and unlock a key box to get the key and fob for the parking. It was all very stressful. I had to send pictures to prove that I had put the key and fob back into to locked box before 10am. I wouldn’t recommend it as a place to stay if you have a car.
- Darcy (7/5): a convenient location close to all amenities and sightseeing - clean, convenient check in/out requirements. parking a bit of an issue.
- Magda (9/5): nice modern appartment in great location - great location, clean, modern appartment We had to wait quite a bit for the keys to be dropped off to us as the key locker was broken.
- Benjamin (10/5): Amazing even for young family with infant travelling. - Instructions provided made it extremely easy to navigate. As a young family with an infant, we were pleasantly surprised the unit was comfortable for three. Spacious shower area made it easy to fit a portable mini tub for an infant that we brought. Another bonus for us was the flat access allowing baby pram access right to the door. Not all apartments would offer towels, soap/shampoos so this was yet an other nice touch. Quiet. Would stay again when next in Canberra. N/A
- Armida (9/5): Excellent location - very close to shopping centre. Maybe use plain white sheets and towels.
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Elliott (10/5): Perfect stay - The apartment was in a perfect location. It was a good size for a short break. It was super clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the owner was clear and uncomplicated. Nothing!
- Divy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (7/5): Good - Location good Blind in bedroom does not block out light coming from outside
