• Alina (9/5): Nice stay in Rome, excellent location - The room is nice, very clean and part of a small apartment with great facilities, even a small courtyard where you can emjoy early morning coffee.the location is perfect, close ro everything. A lot of nice restaurants nearby. The host/staff extremely friendly and helpful The building was under construction/restauration but that did not bother us. There was no noise or anything. The stairs to the room were a bit dark and strange, it seemed you need to go underground to reach the room

Remembered that I enjoyed kiwi & the Italian yogurt, the cheeses, ham & coffee; had them for me in the mornings! My luggage was delayed in Paris. They assisted me in talking to the airline, making arrangements to get it delivered. They were very helpful with taxi info & map. Questions every morning at breakfast; they were super helpful at every turn! And the lodgings... the lodgings were GREAT!!! Big, clean, great bathroom, shower pressure... I recommend them HIGHLY!!! The stairs to the garden room. My suitcases were heavy lol!

Should we have needed help in the night we would not know how to call for assistance. When we booked, there was no clear indication that this was different from a hotel.

Belli 36 was a small hotel on the 3rd floor of an older building but very comfortable and an older elevator which ran very well. I found it to add charm to the building and hotel. I would definitely return to Belli 36; the owner was very informative before and after our stay.

The location was also very nice and how welcoming the staff was. Sharing the kitchen with someone else. The price based on this. The lack of natural light since we were on the basement floor.

• Orsolya (9/5): Superb - We traveled to Rome last year and knew the area already, so we specifically picked a place there because we knew it was close to all major attractions and further away from the crowd. This is not the place's fault, but there is a hotel rooftop bar in front of the building where they had parties each night. At the beginning of our stay, it was okay, we could hear them, but it wasn't too bothering, however, one night it was really loud and we couldn't sleep. Maria was really kind and tried to help us by calling the hotel reception which probably pissed them off more because they put the music even louder. Eventually, the music stopped finally at midnight, but it was enough to ruin our sleep.

• Kjetil (10/5): Excellent! A great place to stay when in Rome - My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Belli36 during our trip to Rome, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's ambiance, cleanliness, and friendly staff left a positive impression on us throughout our 8 night stay. The rooms at Belli36 were particularly noteworthy. They were not only spacious but also immaculately clean, showcasing the hotel's commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene. The comfortable beds and effective air conditioning ensured a restful night's sleep, which was much appreciated after long (and sweaty) days of exploring the city in july. One of the standout features of Belli36 was its location in a quiet neighborhood, which turned out to be a hidden gem. Almost everything was in walking distance, allowing us to easily explore the enchanting streets of Rome on foot. Being away from the bustling tourist areas provided a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. Despite its tranquil surroundings, Belli36 was still conveniently close to public transportation, making it easy to access Rome's popular attractions. Moreover, the hotel staff, including the owners Maria and Giovanni, were incredibly friendly and helpful. From the warm welcome at check-in to their willingness to provide local recommendations and assistance, their hospitality truly made us feel at home. The breakfast at Belli36 was another highlight of our stay. The buffet offered a diverse selection of fresh and delicious options. While the breakfast was enjoyable, we might suggest that the hotel consider adding more whole grain bread and some vegan choices to cater to guests with specific dietary preferences. However, this was not a major concern, as there were still plenty of tasty options to choose from. The only other minor drawback we encountered during our stay was the inability to stream content from handheld devices to the flatscreen TV in the room. (it is only italian tv-channels, or italian dubbing). This might not be a major concern for everyone, but for travelers who enjoy relaxing with their favorite shows or movies after a long day of sightseeing, it could be a slight inconvenience. May we suggest installing Google Chromecast or AppleTv?

• Barrie (10/5): Great location with comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. - The communication was amazing even before we arrived as they had arranged to collect us from the train station and drop us at the airport at the end of our stay. It is in a great location which is close to some attractions whilst being away from the busy activity that is Rome. The room is very private and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. I cannot understand why they are 3 star as they do deserve to be 4 star. Yes I would stay again.

The property is also close to transport links, not to mention walking distance to the vast majority of local sights. Maria and especially Christi were lovely, going above and beyond in offering local advice, restaurant (for us this meant mainly "gelato"), and sightseeing tips as well as well as walking tours they organise themselves.

Theres a lift in the property which can be very helpful if you have large heavy luggages and the property is extremely secure. • Daniel (10/5): This will be the first place we will try to book on any future travels to Italy. - The location in addition to property facilities are exceptional. 5 star hotel quality. All major attractions are within a 20 minute walk and the metro is a 20 minute walk to reach those that are not within walking distance. On several nights we enjoyed bringing our own take-away to the dining area to eat and drink. Maria and her staff were always reachable and were very helpful in communicating with the airport staff when our luggage was lost. She also arranged rides to and from the airport. One of the nicest, friendliest places we have stayed in our travels to Europe. What is there not to like!

• Shiqiao (10/5): Exceptional - This property is spotless, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the location is excellent, walking distance to major attractions, I checked in at 3:00pm and got enough time to visit Castle St Angelo close by, enjoyed the sunset on top of the castle overlooking St. Peter’s basilica, so beautiful! A five minutes walk to the airport shuttle bus stop is a plus. overall I had a wonderful stay in this hotel, highly recommended!

• Andolina (8/5): great stay! - everything was really clean and the staff was very responsive and nice. they did not have an iron because they said it was “dangerous”. when you are traveling, all your clothes are pretty much packed and wrinkled and an iron is a must. we had an iron in both Venice and Florence where we stayed. this is a must.
