• Tianyi (10/5): Perfect for female solo travelers who love dogs ;) - I had a great time at Dawn and Dudley's place - feels like home! The property is in a safe and friendly neighborhood, within walking distance to Tesco, Battersea Park, several bus stops, as well as some nice local restaurants. The room is quite specious and tastefully decorated. There are enough space to hang your clothes and organize your luggage. You also get a kettle and a fridge should you need any hot tea or iced coke. The bathroom is across the hallway and not attached to the bedroom, but not a problem at all. Dawn is an awesome host - very friendly but not overwhelming. You can enjoy the hospitality while keeping all the privacy you need in someone else's house. Of course Dudley is amazing, too - calm, gentle, and easy-going :) Overall I would give this place 10/10. Will recommend it to everyone, especially female solo travelers. Nothing much, but the pressure of showerhead could be improved.

• Nicola (10/5): A perfect faultless stay and I will be recommending to all of my friends! - The location was perfect for me as a wedding photographer working in London. My room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable with everything I needed. Dawn is absolutely lovely, friendly and accommodating. This was actually so much nicer than staying in a hotel and was ideal for what I needed with work. With all of my equipment it was so helpful being able to park right outside of the property. Nothing at all.
• Gabriela (10/5): Comfortable room near Battersea park - Excellent location, close to Battersea park. Very clean and tidy the room and bathroom. Dawn home also smells very nice! And Dudley is lovely. The room is big and comfortable. The mini fridge doesn't really keep food cold. I didn't have much food with me so not a big problem.

Perfect location beside the park, a wonderful room and first-rate hospitality. Couldn't have asked for more. I liked everything.

Ideal for visiting Battersea in particular, but is not far from central London at all - short bus ride to Victoria. Lovely home, lovely host and lovely dog!

Right on Battersea Park, super-central location, all aspects of London outside the front door or a few minutes away by foot. We stayed for one night, but it would be a fantastic place to stay for long weekend or week. We lived in London for years, so know how special D&D's neighbourhood is, but were amazed to find such a true gem and at such good £ value. Pam & David

• Declan (10/5): A really comfortable stay in Battersea. - Dawn is a kind, helpful host. Her home is beautiful and clean. The bed is really comfortable. Battersea Park is on the doorstep and it’s not far to the Power Station for shops, bars and restaurants. And Dudley the dog of course! Although there are plenty of buses nearby, it’s a bit of a walk to the nearest metro station.

Dudley was extremely friendly and great to have around We visited during the most recent heat wave. Temperatures we around 30°. The room, even with the small fan was still a bit stuffy and our bar fridge was not working

The home is also extremely close to bus routes and is walkable to places such as Sloane Square and Chelsea. Stay here if you have the opportunity! Nothing - everything was great.

• Dermot (9/5): Stylish comfortable pad in Battersea. - Dawn was friendly and welcoming. Room was well appointed and attractively decorated giving a feeling of comfort and style. Bed was comfy too. Not ensuite but own bathroom provided across the hall. If you're looking for a good value room with a friendly and helpful host in this bit of town you can't go wrong here. Nothing really.

• Jill (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - Dawn and Dudley were very welcoming hosts. - Location is excellent. Very close to the park, bus routes and shops. Nothing - liked everything about it. The only small thing I would change was maybe a few less decorative objects so there are a few more surfaces for the guest’s personal items.

• Michael (8/5): Lovely Place to Stay and Way More Memorable Than Your Average Hotel - Once Dudley the sausage dog completes his inspection, you're good to go :) Dawn is very lovely. Location is 1.5 miles from Battersea Power Station (Apple offices) so it is a very walkable distance. Private room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There isn't a desk if you're accustomed to working on one so remote working might be an issue. (Not an issue in my case.) Bathroom is not adjoined to your private room. You'll need to pass through a shared "public" space to reach it. As long as you're okay with that, then you're good to go. I have no issues with it. When I return to London as a solo traveler, I will try to stay here again. It beats any local hotel on price point, plus your average hotel has zero character. A stay here will be much more memorable. Nothing
