• Gemma (10/5): Luxury, convenience and exquisite views in the heart of the Gold Coast! - Location and view were incredible. The apartment was spacious. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and so were the pillows. Being so close Broadbeach and the Casino was convenient and meant no public transport was required. Collecting key from across the road was awkward because we had luggage to carry around with us. Also, we were only given one key which meant every time one of us went home early, the other would have to escort us home, as the elevator required the key swipe. Tea and coffee cups were so tiny - recommend getting some decent sized mugs :)

We always receive 2 keys so you can come & go whenever you please & not be dependent on another person. Very poor furnishings for a 5 star rating hotel (next time I would rather stay at the casino.

• Atigifagu (7/5): Great, but more toilet paper and towels!! - I liked the view and space and the size of the apartment. It was a modern and clean and very comfortable, I liked the washing machine and dryer, they were very quiet. The lack of knowledge of towels for swimming, we thought towels were available at the swimming pool, lack of knowledge of where the swimming pool was, residentials - Level 20 thank me later, you won't have access to Level 6 swimming pool, then we were told the swimming towels for other guests were found in their wardrobe/closet. We didn't see any blue and white striped towels that everyone had, so we left out on the experience. We ran out of toilet paper after 2 days we were staying for 4 days, had to wait the last day to recieve toilet paper and more towels, that was a little surprising but it worked out.

This is a basic facility and no option was given to pick up from someone. The key pick-up was from another building. It could be from here

• Katelyn (7/5): Wouldn't book through Cassa group again - Facilities are fantastic Would never book through the Cassa group again. Tv doesn't have normal channels so I could watch the news etc . Only had TCL tv which had old shows from 2008 etc. The star residence is beautiful, but I will book directly through the star next time. The internet was down for a day and I couldn't even watch tv. Rang them , no help. I was trying to explain to them how they had no normal channels to watch tv ( 7, 10 ,9 etc) No information about how to use electronic devices or where the rubbish has to be taken to . My husband had to go out and look to find where the bins were so we could throw out our rubbish and recycling .The tv and lamps need to be cleaned as well a lot of dust.

• Harmony (10/5): The cleanest and most beautiful apartment my partner and I have ever stayed in. - My partner and I have never stayed somewhere SO CLEAN. The view was exceptional, and the location (right next to the Star Casino) was extremely convenient. Great value for money. I wish the water pressure was better, but that's grasping at straws. Besides that, this place was the best I have ever stayed in.

• Kimie (8/5): Lovely stay, super convenient for any work conferences at the Star. - The location was great (was there for a work conference) and the apartment was beautiful, felt very private and safe. A bigger tea selection would be nice :) Also the key collection being in a difference place is a little bit annoying, but understand that it can't be helped. Also the lifts can take a very long time to wait for.

Were told after we left we had to use a different pool but that wasn’t told to us. Only one room key was given made it very difficult to go off separately as the key is needed in the elevator.

Didn't love the fact that the advertisement was a double or king bed ( I can't remember) but was just 2 single beds pushed next to each other with a sheet over them. Couldn't sleep in the middle of the bed due to the high bump of the 2 beds together. I get 2 singles, but at least have a mattress topper over them so you can use the whole bed and not just sleep in single beds next to each other as a couple. Would also be smart to advertise keys being picked up 2 blocks away from the hotel. Extra towels would be nice, along with a face wash cloth.

• Michelle (7/5): Location was the only good thing - Location was excellent for the purpose of going to an event at the Star. The lifts were horrendous. Over a ten minute wait time just to get down to the lobby, while carrying all our heavy bags. 4 lifts in the whole place was nowhere near enough to cater for the amount of guests. We were advised at check in, to park at the convention Centre which was way too far away to carry all our luggage. Upon entering the room, there was a thick film of dust across all surfaces and kitchen benches. No cushions on hard wicker outdoor chairs so had to admire view from inside on the lounge in order to be comfortable. Too expensive at over $400 per night . Didn’t reach my expectations

Overall it was good but would have been nice to have ice/ ice trays. The pool that we had access to was constantly overflowing but comes with the territory of going in busy periods.

There was only one towel per person and one single use set of toiletries and we were staying for three nights. In addition there were no pool towels at all. When I called to ask for more supplies I was told I could pick them up at their office ( about a 15 minute walk away) Parking on site is very expensive.

Pillows were terrible. Missing some glassware. No full length mirror or coffee table. Outdoor chair cushions had mould on them. Wait times for lifts was annoying so you had to plan for that.

• Janelle (7/5): Accommodation not up to expections but had an enjoyable time due to location. - Location was great next to casino and a small walk to Broadbeach. View was west over to hinterland. Room was not luxury as advertised it was a nice ordinary apartment room. The air con on floors and lifts did not seem to be working and one lift was not operating so long waits for lifts. Picking up keys from another location bit of incovenience and parking at a high cost offered. You can park at the convention centre thou for much less. Towels were ordinary.
• Tania (8/5): Location, affordable and easy key drop-off - Location, affordable and cleanliness. Bed was super comfortable- I don’t even remember laying down to go to sleep it was that good! Kitchen layout was on point how it flowed into the lounge. Coffee sachet were not great.

• Ty (6/5): Bring what you need for this value for money gem. - Exceptional value for money. New build, tidy, with a laundry! The room has gorgeous views of the GC hinterland and centrally located to Broadbeach and Pacific Fair. Comfy enough bed. The linen and towels are cheap. Investing in some decent linen could elevate this. There wasn’t any beach towels, which I’d expect in the room to be able to use the facilities and go to the beach. The rooms didn’t have enough soap. The windows on the balcony need to be cleaned, and some surfaces need to be dusted.
