Guest Reviews
- soares (10/5): - I loved everything about this place it was cozy and nice
- Leah (1/5): My stay was absolutely nightmare-ish. I didn’t feel safe, and the bedding/appliances were dirty. -
- Fiona (7/5): Comfortable and convenient, and a good price, but needs some tlc. - A comfortable studio in a convenient and quiet location. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Brixton and close to Brockwell Park. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we found it big enough for two people. It needs some attention. A lot of things were broken or getting worn out. Just a bit of attention to detail.
- Sofia (5/5): Small and old. Helpful landlord. - Nicole is very supportive. The location was good as well. The pictures, in my opinion, give an idea of a much bigger room. I didn't notice there was no wardrobe (something to keep in mind next time I book a room). This property is too small for two people.
One of the reasons for us to book this room was the convenience of having a washing machine, i was surprised that there were no clothes lining. The shower partition doesn't isolate the water from the shower properly, so I had to ask for a mop to keep the bathroom floor tidy. Nicole asked for these two items to be delivered, but it would've been better to have them from the start.
The TV was not working for a week (we stayed two) to allow us to watch Netflix.
The cleaning standards have to improve a lot. There was a lot of dust in the corners. The surfaces of the kitchen were sticky. The kettle was not clean (was full of limescale. I had to go and buy a cleaning product to be able to use it).
As I said to Nicole multiple times, the price of the room is too expensive for what is offered. This property needs refurbishment. Everything is old, and the space is small. I've been in better places where the price was more worthy. I tried to ask Booking to help me get out of there, but the customer support was useless as usual.
- Sue (8/5): Very good - Nicole was very accommodating - but we wish that Booking.com let her know that my guest would be allowed entry. It was as juggle especially with the time difference of London and Los Angeles. She was very kind and generous.
- Austeja (10/5): Exceptional - We were very pleased with our stay. We would definitely book this place again.
- Olena (9/5): Superb - Good apartments for a short stay. There is a microwave, a washing machine, an oven, a freezer, and a boiler.
Convenient location. 30 minutes by bus to the London Eye and 7 minutes on foot to the nearest metro station. Excellent grocery store - 3 minutes on foot. The hostess always answered quickly and helped with questions. There is a slight smell of dampness in the hallway and in the bathroom
- Shohan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Brendan (9/5): Superb -
