Guest Reviews
- Mary-Anne (8/5): Great, Convenient Stay - Overall location and convenience. The fact that the shower flooded the first 2 night, however once reported it was fixed the very next day, so loves to excellent service.
- Shirlee (3/5): Poor Experience - The location and thats about it. We had an issue with the smoke alarm going off, when I called they already knew about the issue 3 days earlier, it was beeping every couple of minutes, they were organising an electrician to fix the issue, we were told it would be fixed later that day or the next day, so we were basically told we needed to deal with the loud beeping until it was fixed, they sent a guy up to check it and he told us, he had no idea what he was looking at, my partner took the battery out and it then stopped. But in the mean time, we had to keep calling for assistance, we asked to be moved as we had a 7 month old with us, they could not move us due to full bookings. It was an absolute horrible experience to get help from management. The carpets were filthy, the walls and doors are covered in other visitors finger prints and scuffs, the shower did not drain properly, so when you go to shower the next time, the ground was so slippery from water sitting and making the floor slimy, that I slipped over. There was not really a whole lot of good to say, the beds were comfy, but the bedding hidden in the sheets was stained. Our experience with these guys was tainted from the very beginning. We won't stay with them again.
- Emma (8/5): Really enjoyed the break. Amazing staff that communicated well and provided exceptional service. Will definitely stay ag - Great location, super comfortable and great team Nothing - very comfortable, great facilities, amazing staff
- Rose (10/5): - Great communication, very accomodating, lovely apartment. Very enjoyable stay to celebrate 2 birthdays
- Sara (10/5): -
- Mark (1/5): Mark - Nothing, very unprofessional, I was scammed. Paid for two nights wasn’t even able to check-in. The level of safety. I feel as though this property is running a scam! Taking your money and providing nothing in return. I understand problems arise but they need to be addressed not disregarded/ ignored.
- Eddie (9/5): Was a good stay - Location and swimming pool
- Angela (9/5): - Loved the location, it was close to all the activities we were doing in the city.
- Matilda (7/5): -
- Lynette (10/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): - Location Pool wasn't heated
- Dani (3/5): - Apartment was not very clean. Lots of dust everywhere
- Maxine (10/5): Great apartment, centre location - Centre location, walk to shops etc
Clean tidy room and building common areas
- Zoe (6/5): Roy was extremely friendly, and stayed up until almost 1am to meet us for check in (as we had a late flight) which was v - Great location Relatively dirty, carpets completely stained, hair in the bathroom, walls very marked.
- Christine (5/5): - Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Quiet at night. Check-in was so stressy as there is work going on next door and if you cannot get a spare carpark you have to drop one person off and then go around the block and hope that they have retrieved the car parking pass before you return. I thought the pool was heated but it wasn't. The pool is located indoors but it is still open air and the breeze made it even colder. Only went to the gym once and there were 4-5 men in there just charging their phones - I think they were workers for the builder. It made it uncomfortable as it seemed like it was just a meeting place to chat. Gym was not clean - very grubby.
- Leigh (10/5): Was a great location, very comfortable stay - Loved that it was quiet, even though it was in the city. Nothing
- Darren (6/5): Average - Very hard to communicate with getting access to the accommodation
- David (10/5): Outlook, convenience and comfort - Location, cleanliness, room layout, privacy, parking There was noise from other apartments on the first night - not outrageously noisy but the floor/walls may be a bit thin.
It wasn’t clear at time of booking that a ‘damage deposit’ would be required and an assurance that it would likely be returned. In the context of a ‘no refund’ booking, tit was alarming to be confronted with ‘pay the damage deposit or we won’t tell you how to access the property’. Sounds a bit like a scam? Should have been clearly articulated prior to completion of booking. May even be illegal to advise about this afterwards.
- Trish (8/5): Very good - Location was handy, convenient. I was unable to enter the building unless I followed someone else in as they used their pass. There are 3 entrances and no indication of which one I should use to find the lock box. Parking space was hard to find, unit number matched parking space but another persons car was always in that space. It upset me not being able to figure out how to find the correct door to enter and find the lockbox, as these are hidden from outside. Multi storey building being constructed next door and workers are noisy at 6am.
- Janka (8/5): Awesome property - Location and facilities Nothing to dislike
- Neal (6/5): Great location and despite a few shortcomings - Great location that overlooks the Kangaroo Point bridge. Makes for a great view at dawn.
Proximity to the Botanic gardens, restaurants, cafes and shops was extremely helpful. -ac vents were not clean and looked like they’d not been cleaned for a while
-while running the shower, a loud noise, enough to wake a sleeping child, usually emanated from the kitchen. Not certain if this is something the hosts could rectify or whether it’s an issue with the design / construction of the unit
-shower didn’t drain properly. After a short shower there was about an inch of water that took a while to drain
-check in is challenging as part of the process requires you to tailgate someone entering the building in order to access the key.
-there was a cockroach in the pantry cupboard during our stay
- Jane (8/5): Very good - Location is excellent, management team is lovely and highly responsive Bed in main room needs replacing, very uncomfortable. Very high price room night cost to not be able to lie in the bed.
- Bret (7/5): Everything was perfect except the crazy process of finding parking then the struggle to get the keys - View
Style
Location
Comfortable The process of getting the keys
Someone was parked in the reserved carpark
- Torri (8/5): Very good -
- Ben (7/5): Good -
- Natalie (7/5): It was good. - Someone parked in our alloted parking space for a whole day and night
- Kerri-anne (10/5): We had a great time. - Great place to stay in the city A bit disappointed that we couldn’t access the sky tower pool and still not sure why that didn’t work out.
- Sarah (7/5): Overall a good stay, bed was super comfortable and the view was nice too. - Location was close to where my event was held, the air conditioning was amazing on a very hot day and night It wasn’t as clean as I thought it would be, dirty marks on walls and dusty air-conditioning vents, the coffee sachets were old and stuck together
- Susan (5/5): Adequate for an unexpected overnight stay - The view The bathroom was musty to the point of being unpleasant. The instructions for locating the keys was ambiguous at best and without the assistance of kind strangers I would still be standing on the footpath out front of the building..
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Opur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maitland (10/5): Perfect location. Beautiful apartment with gorgeous views. - The view was insane! perfect view of the new Neville Bonner Bridge. Great walking distance to Riverstage too. The hot water pipes are loud for the first time using the shower. Once they heat up enough it goes away.
- Janez (10/5): Excellent - I forgot to pay the security deposit the day before. When arriving at the property I contacted the service desk and they helped me out immensely, being very patient, with getting my security deposit and then the access information.
- Shona (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (5/5): Ok - The locked key box and parking whilst trying to put the keys back The lounge area was very uncomfortable and the noise outside because of building
- Heidi (8/5): Very good - Amazing location. Super convenient There is a building site next door which can get quite noisy
- Cody (8/5): Stay was great, well organised and nice and clean apartment. Was a good location in the CBD, noce and close to the river - Close distance to airport and Sleeman sports complex. Communication from the host was great.
- Sebastian (9/5): Superb -
- Stephanie (9/5): Superb - Great rooms The process to get in is a little confusing. The instructions they give are great though
- Michele (4/5): Not quite what I expected. - CBD location
Lovely river view
Very clean and nice layout. Unable to get into the room early despite requesting this months in advance. Asked to just use the free parking but was told the cleaners were using this.
The tea bags supplied were not individually wrapped and appeared to have been in place for quite some time and I wasn’t happy with using them.
No UHT milk supplied.
- Andrew (8/5): 2 night stay after arriving from UK - Location was good and easy to find and within walking distance of main city centre. Apartment suitable for a family of 3 with enough requirements for 2 nights stay and if you were eating out for lunch and dinner. If you wanted to cook there were items available for simple dishes. Clean, tidy and quiet. Only challenge was on checking in and having to find a place to park to pick up the key to the room and the garage. We had to tailgate someone through the lobby doors to get to the mailbox to retrieve the keys. As it is a public car park up to 7pm when entering the garage we found that someone was already in the alloted parking space for the apartment. This meant then finding someone to ask if it was ok to park in any available space which it was, and then we could park in the allocated space once it was free. Possible clearer instructions on finding the allotted space would also be useful as the car park is a bit of a maze i.e. Yellow zone. On leaving we also had to find the refuse chute where it would've been useful to give details of its location in the room. Only feedback would be to include the details referenced above in the communication email for checking in. Points about checking probably sound more negative as we had just arrived from the UK after 23hr flight and had to wait till 3pm to check-in
- Laura (6/5): Yeah nah - Location is good, walking distance to Southbank. View is pretty good Check in is annoying.. make sure you download check in info prior - no reception in the car park.
You have to wait for a random person to go through the swipecard door and follow them in - this part isn't in the instructions.
Only one toilet roll for 4 people/2 nights, two sachets of coffee and no milk. Bathroom needs a deep clean and the back bedroom bed is horrible.
- Gregory (7/5): By enlarge enjoyable. - Room and cooking facilities good. Location was good too. View very good. Good support from owners. Carpark was a learning curve but that was my first time, but got easier with use.
- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Archana (8/5): Very good - Really loved how Wen was so responsive to my queries and very easy to communicate More clearer instructions need to be given for self check-in as to enter downtown lobby to pick up keys from lockbox, another access card is needed which I was not aware initially. However, due to friendly staff, this was easy
- Michele (6/5): Pleasant - Location, free parking, hosts were helpful Building site in early stages next door noisy from early in the morning, cooking utensils - no oven trays or tongs. I purchased tongs and left for next guests.
- Bo (7/5): Nice for a short stay - Location. car park opportunity Access to the carpark elevator and the key in the lock box. Living area/dining area very small and narrow
- Kie (3/5): Mid asf - Location was good Getting any help from the owner was horrible. Tried to contact them several times and would claim to be “unable to take phone calls”. Checking in instructions were done by a photo and had to grab the keys from a mailroom and a little key safe which was confusing. Also had to wait for someone to even enter the building and couldn’t get into the mailroom without… please note before booking this place that it is seperate to the clix hotel itself. Parking was even worse. No instructions where to find the park so was driving underground for 10 mins and no service so couldn’t try contact owner either. The location was great and place was fairly clean but I will probably not be staying here again…
- Peter (8/5): Great location -
- Dan (7/5): Comfortable stay at a central location in the CBD - Great location and the facilities in the building are very good: pool, barbecue area and free parking. Good communication with the property staff. Might be good to go know that there are 2 double bedrooms, but the apartment only has 2 seats around the kitchen table.
- Corrina (5/5): The view was amazing great location was OK but wouldn't rebook that apartment as it was private I'd - Location was great no breakfast available tea and coffee making in the room but no milk given The keys were left in a lock box in the mail room I was told it was 24hr check in howsoever you needed a key to access the mail room which was not explained nor did I have when I arrived at 10 pm was also emailed the room number which was incorrect and caused confusion especially after a long drive to get there
- Tanya (6/5): It was nice but the advertisement was a little deceiving. - It was a nice room that had everything we needed. The pool being in a completely different tower and having to go outside in our swimwear to reach it.
Getting the key was way too difficult. You needed a swipe card to get into the mailroom with the lock box. I had to wait for someone to come out before I could get in.
I also didn’t like that we couldn’t go straight from the carport to our floor. We had to then walk to a different tower which was hard with kids and luggage
- Glyn (8/5): Served it’s purpose would consider again - Location and quality of room No tea or milk
- Amanda (9/5): Superb - exactly as described, good views, fast communication and easy to get into building. Pool area large.
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Wiram (8/5): Very good -
- Victoria (7/5): Good -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (9/5): Great location! Comfy apartment for family! - Great location and accessibility to property facilities. Nil
- Brianna (5/5): Passable -
- Peter (9/5): Very nice place and positioned well - Was given the wrong lockbox number
- Patrick (6/5): Pleasant - Position. Close to city Bed in 1 room was so very uncomfortable.
Sofa was so low to floor and uncomfortable
Getting into car park was not easy
No one to tell you how to book in, just text message. So stressed by time we got to room
- Tyson (7/5): Good -
- Birgit (7/5): Great location in heart of CBD - Great location and very suitable for a family Check in process was confusing and bathroom smelled like rotting fish
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Jasmine (8/5): Lovely hosts, great little cosy apartment with super comfy beds. Great location. - Loved that it was in town and walking distance to everything. It had a good view and the beds were super comfy. Found getting from car park to rentals was a bit confusing and then finding car park again, once done a couple of times it easy
- Brendan (10/5): Loved it. - It’s in such an amazing location.
- Paul (5/5): Disappointing - Central location No clear instructions how to enter the building to access the keys. We were told there was no access key/swipe due to security reasons but advised to wait until someone else was entering the building and follow them in....security??
Tea and Coffee facilities but no milk, not even UHT milk, apparently due to health and safety reasons!
Matress was like sleeping on a jelly. Moved every time my husband moved. Also, we slept snugly due to the matress sagging in the middle. Not the best sleep. We have stayed many times in the city. This was the most disappointing accommodation. However I will say that any communication with staff was good and prompt although sometimes difficult to understand due to accent
Accommodation clean but would benefit from a deep clean.
Sorry but we will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone
- Natalie (7/5): Good - Use of the carpark for free
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - Great location. Nice comfy space Some sugar and milk would have been nice and maybe a couple of bottles of water
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Great location with everything you need Nothing it was great
- Michael (3/5): No access to keys or room, no contact number, no help. - That was hands down the “worst” experience I’ve had in multiple hotels. I could “not” access the keys for the room and there was no contact number for help. I missed my function and will never ever book again.
- Arzal (10/5): It was already really good - It was high up in the sky which gave us a very good view. Nothing
- Makere (10/5): Exceptional - 💯 beautiful apartment.
- Krystal (10/5): Clean unit in great location perfect for small family. - Great location. Good view. Apartment was clean and tidy.
- Glenn (9/5): Clean comfortable modern in great location - Very Clean & cozy
Comfy beds
Great location Only very minor item was bit difficult finding the right entrance to pick up the keys when we first arrived - a photo or more specific info in the welcome message would be helpful
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - location nothing
- Aoife (8/5): Great location for our stay - Grateful for the instructions and pictures to explain layout and location of keys. Pictures to also explain access to gym etc. Very busy on street outside to access set down area to allow access of key to parking but accept that this is the CBD.
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant - How hard it was to get the keys and get in and out of the car park it took me almost an hour to organise keys and get upstair to the room. No iron as it was broken and leaked water all over my dress shower had mould through it
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Emily (9/5): Enjoyed the stay, Great cozy little space and perfectly located - Central location It was a little tricky getting into the mail room to get the keys as the doors didn’t pen and I had to wait for soemone to go into the building to get the keys
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - easy to Acess , modern and clean
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- Shavarn (10/5): perfect place for a getaway - Checking in was so easy. definitely pays to download the instructions prior as you don’t get service when parking.
location is exceptional, room is homely, bed at the eastern side is the most comfortable bed I’ve been in. parking is easy
communication is wonderful and overall a great place to stay. would highly recommend. nothing
- Sue (3/5): Great location shame about the cleanliness of the unit - Location Unit was dirty. Stove top was dirty. Water would not drain away from the sink & the shower in the bathroom therefore we were unable to shower. Not enough glassware, only three glasses and three wineglasses in the kitchen, no tea towel or dish cloth. no air freshener in the bathroom, extractor fan not working in bathroom. Also very dubious about the sheets in the back bedroom. I don’t believe they were fresh sheets as there was multiple hairs in the bed.
very disappointed with the unit for the price that’s charged .
- Melita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Chloe (7/5): It was good apart from parking which was confusing - The view, the aircon was amazing, maybe a little to amazing haha Parking is confusing
- Maddilyn (8/5): Great location. Comfortable rooms. - Location and everything was great. Keys easy to find. Beds were comfy. Super clean apartment that smelled fresh and welcoming. Spacious rooms. My friend didn’t sleep well as there was night works happening outside his window. When I booked the apartment I was under the impression that it was two bedroom and two bathroom, but it was only one bathroom.
- Amelia (1/5): would have been perfect apart from the sheet- BIG turn off! - central location, facilities met our needs whilst the property was overall clean, the bed sheets were certainly not clean and had definitely not been changed since the last guests.
- Karen (2/5): Very poor -
- Stephen (8/5): Well located self containted apartment, close to restaurants and the botanical gardens -
- Micaela (6/5): Not as fabulous as it's rated. - Amazing location and building facilities. Appreciated Lucas trying to solve put parking issue as someone else parked on my spot and I was worried my car was going to get keyed by someone else because of parking in another spot. He talked with manager and organised things up. Not a great value for the money we paid. Empty hand wash in the bathroom, glassware was dirty (had to clean everything before using it), carpets were stained and burnt patches, side bed lamps disconnected, cheap uncomfortable pillows and only 1 key card for 2 adults woth 2 kids under 2 which was painful as you cannot go anywhere around the facilities of the building without one.
We chose the apartment living for the same price of a 5 star hotel room a few blocks away just because of having separate walls that helped put the kids to bed and remained awake later on the night without disturbing the kids but was not worth the money considering all the downside issues.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - good location. clean and tidy. Has everything you need. Host was very helpful and great communication requires update on how to access downtown entry. doors don’t open unless you have key card however you have to enter the sliding doors to get the card. parking was very confusing and took about 15mins to find.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great. Apartment also had a good view of the river. Free parking was a huge bonus
- Balkar (9/5): Superb -
