• Gisele (8/5): - Jean Marc was a great host, very helpful and easy to chat with. The location was lovely and peaceful and easy to find, with great road links. The communal kitchen was spotless and well fitted out, and there's a lovely lounge area to relax in. The rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay there. The shower room and toilet area in the bedroom doesn't have a door, so its draught, cold and a bit uncomfortable. There were noises during both nights that sounded like pipes banging. Couldn't work out what it was.

Anji and Mike were so sweet and welcoming, it honestly felt more like staying with friends than at a hostel. Would 100% stay again!

• Duo (10/5): Clean cozy and comfortable room with privacy, and a fantastic host! - The host (Angie) is amazing, she gave a lot of excellent recommendations on activities and restaurants to try in/around Jasper. The room is clean and cozy, I have a room facing the forest,instead of the parking lot which provided a lot of privacy. I facility of the hostel is also very organized and tidy! the kitchen and common area are very clean and well stocked! Would def stay here again when coming to Jasper. the location is a little out of the way, as it actually just a bit outside of jasper east gate. But to drive from the hostel to Jasper is absolutely stunning that I don't even mind the drive.

I booked for 9-10 PM check in and that was confirmed. Then later I received an email that I needed to be there before 9 PM because they were closing. OK, I did that - didn't love it but ok. The next morning I'm in the common area (because the wifi doesn't work well in the rooms and I needed to send an important work email) and when I'm there 5 minutes past 11 AM (when they close), the manager says "we close everything at 11 - we leave. I thought they told you that". Very poor customer service - I'll never visit again and can't recommend anyone else do so. • Brian (9/5): Great Stay - The hostel had a full kitchen, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. The room was neat, and mostly clean when I arrived. The place was quiet and peaceful. There were hairs on the sheet that weren't mine.

• Vladimir (7/5): Okay place to stay, but I would only recommend if they change the policy - Nice clean rooms, spacious common spaces, brewery in the next building, plenty of parking Weird policy of closing the place down for the day and kicking out the guests. I was given an explanation that it's the policy of all places in the area but it's just not true. I stayed a night in another place in Hinton for the same price (!), 18 extra minutes from Jasper but with a separate extra bedroom, kitchenette, and on-site laundry.

• Bogi (9/5): Excellent accommodation in its category - Newly renovated, super clean, single rooms with bathrooms next to the forest. Comfortable beds, quality furniture, bedding. Well-organized accommodation. The owner is friendly and helpful. The common areas are homely, with a pleasant living room with comfortable armchairs, games, a fully equipped kitchen, yoga room. The nearby pub is a must-try. It's a bit inconvenient to constantly take your shoes on and off (shoes must be removed at the entrance for cleanliness reasons). Jasper is 40 minutes away by car.

Definitely will stay again on my next visit to Jasper . 4th time here since it opened after the fire. Maps don’t lead you to the exact location. Read directions provided by host.

• Chelsea (9/5): Great stay just outside of Jasper. You can see that they have put so much through and care into each room and the hostel - The rooms were so comfy and clean, the Towels were 10/10! The facilities had everything I needed and were very spacious for a shared space. The staff were so kind and made me feel very welcome and safe. I didn’t try the nearby restaurant but it looked good and reasonably priced. If I had to pick something, the pillow could be a bit fuller. It also is a bit of a drive out of Jasper, but still plenty around the area to see and do.

• Ursula Wimmer (10/5): Chilliger Aufenthalt im Grünen - Ein wunderschön gelegenes Hostel mit lauter Einzelzimmer. Neu gebaut. Kaffee gibts von 8 bis 9 gratis (sehr guter übrigens). Super sauber, viel Holz. 3 Gehminuten entfernt ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Dieses Hostel hat eher Hotel Qualität

• Richard (10/5): Small gem in the woods - Jasper East Hostel is a gem. If you don't mind having a very small private room with a twin bed, it's just a fabulous place to stay. Spotlessly clean, nice living area and well-equipped common kitchen (everything you could need for cooking and eating, and even a nice pot of coffee provided in the morning!), super friendly people. And the brewery / pub next door is excellent also.

• Lauren (7/5): A lovely hostel and would stay again. - It was very clean, welcoming and had plentiful supplies of kitchenware and facilities to comfortably accommodate guests. The private rooms were well furnished and the staff were polite and friendly. I also like that there were designated quiet times to ensure a peaceful stay. I would stay again On the last night I stayed the water supply was completely cut off for more than 5 hours. I had to go to the RV park next door to shower and get drinkable water. Also not being allowed in the hostel between 11am and 5pm was a little inconvenient but didn’t affect my stay all that much.
• Judit (6/5): - I liked that I could have my own room with private bathroom. It was clean, comfortable and new. Mike was very friendly and hard working. The kitchen and shared facilities were nice and clean. It was the only affordable accommodation in Jasper (that is ridiculously overpriced). I knew in advance about the "leave the hostel from 11am to 5pm" rule and I agreed basically because it was the only accommodation I could afford in Jasper. So I cannot complain but does not mean that I liked it, and you must keep in mind: if it rains, if you feel sick, if you forget something etc you cannot get in your room during the day which doesn't make any sense (I've never seen anything like this before). So, I'd say it's ok just for 1 night. Also, it's in the middle of nowhere with zero breakfast options, and the second morning there was no running water at the property.

I loved this place and may be preferred option next time. almost 54 KM away from Jasper Downtown. So if you want to see Downtown, you must go and visit and then check-in

• Temesghen (9/5): Beautiful, comfort, location and accessibility with great staff - The staff are helpful! Great location, anything you need is juts close by ! And there is an awesome brewing near by the folding mountain brewing great beer, restaurant and so many activities you can do near by ! It’s a must place ! The check was a bit of a hustle due to the time being in from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm but it’s understandable as they are remote and are behind the jasper east cabin !!!!

Restaurant zu Fuss erreichbar! Sehr nettes und extrem hilfsbereites Personal! Ablagefläche (Tisch oder Stuhl) hat im Zimmer gefehl. Dies ist aber Kritik auf hohem Niveau!

Noch alles recht neu und auber!👍🏼 Eigener Korb im Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle… großer Essbereich und ebenfalls ein großer Wohnbereich!👌🏼 Sehr schade, dass es zwischen Bett und Waschbecken keine Ablage gibt. Am Kopfende ist ein Regal und über dem Fußende befindet sich ein Hängeschrank. Mein Navi hat die Adresse nicht gefunden!

• roberto (7/5): - L'ostello è completamente nuovo e ben organizzato. Ho trovato la camera, il bagno e le parti comuni molto puliti e con arredamento moderno, semplice e funzionale. Ci sono due grandi cucine a disposizione degli ospiti. La connessione wi-fi funzionava molto bene nelle parti comuni. Lo staff è molto attento ed efficiente; ho ricevuto diversi messaggi per informarmi sugli orari di apertura dell'ostello e con precise indicazioni sulla strada da seguire per raggiungere la struttura. Il prezzo non è proprio economico, ma comunque è molto più conveniente rispetto ai prezzi di qualsiasi struttura che si può trovare a Jasper Town, che si trova a circa 55 Km (40 minuti in auto) di bella strada panoramica. La camera che mi è stata assegnata non era molto silenziosa, in quanto il rumore di auto e camion sulla Highway 16, che passa a breve distanza, continua anche durante la notte. Probabilmente le camere che si affacciano sul parcheggio dell'ostello non hanno questo problema. La mattina in cui dovevo partire presto, ho fatto la doccia alle 7 ma a quell'ora non c'era acqua calda.
