Victoria (8/5): Perfectly positioned in Paradise. - Our 2 bed apartment (311 ) was huge, modern and had a great private outdoor deck and dining area with access to the pool. Across the road from the beach and easy walking distance to Town for shopping and restaurants. For an elderly friend there were stairs and a railing for pool access. The reception staff were extremely polite and helpful. The management were quick to resolve a few issues. We have booked again for Christmas. No microwave. No lift to upper floors. One of the maintenance staff entered our apartment without knocking. ( misunderstanding about checkout date ) The management kindly upgraded our trip to the airport by private car instead of bus as an apology, which we appreciated.

Candice (7/5): Great location and cool apartment, apartment just needs some extra love and effort to make your stay perfect! - Great location! Walking distance to beach and splash park for the kids and just a short walk down to the main strip. Beautiful outdoor area and pool. As we were travelling with small children, the front door wouldn’t lock from the inside therefore our youngest would continually open it and escape. The second bedroom also faces out onto a main walk way and should have a security window put on it. The apartment needed some extra love, with light globes going out and extra batteries for the dead remote.

laura (10/5): Best location in Port Douglas - Wonderful location with a sea view and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The unit was very spacious, well equipped and clean with plenty of off street parking I would definitely stay here again. Not an issue for us but the unit we had was up three flights of stairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

It was difficult getting our luggage up to our apartment with all the steps.

Good size pool and ample seating around the pool. Apartment was a spacious two bedroom with two bathrooms. Tv in bedroom as well as lounge room. The bedrooms and bathroom were nice but the kitchen and living area was a little dated. The couch in lounge room soiled covering so did not look appealing to sit on. We had an oven that was difficult to use as all labelling was missing so could not work out what button did what.

Jessica (2/5): Extremely disappointing! - The location of the unit was fantastic and that is where the positives about this unit end. This unit is in desperate need of maintenance. The ensuite was boarded up and unable to be used, the front garden and entry to the pool was scattered with building material and the front porch was severely damaged with rotten steps. No warning was provided as to the unsafe condition of these areas. The general condition of the unit was poor including the cleanliness. The booking was misleading as we believed we were getting 4 star accomodation, this was absolutely not the case. Reception was closed for the weekend so I was unable to raise these concerns during our stay however on check out we were told this was the only non renovated unit in the complex. I have since reached out directly to the accomodation to raise my list of concerns with no response received. Would NOT recommend this accommodation to anyone I know.

Only a few minutes walk away from shops & restaurants. Our apartment was a bit ‘tired’ with laminate cracking & lifting in a few places, kitchen was functional but needed a revamp. Not expected for the rent we’re paying.

It would have been better with a hire car to see more. - Location: Straight across from the stinger net at the beach, close to the village centre, right next door the the Surf Life Saving Club (for drinks and meals). Reception and maintenance staff were helpful: They sorted out our front door problem quickly; late check-out with no additional cost (due to weather events) was no stress. Our front door lock was difficult to open and the door handle was loose. The instructions for late check-in made me think that we had to go through the pool gates - and the front pool gate was tricky (stiff from the salt air perhaps?).

Bruce (8/5): Delightful place and position but tired rooms - Great location and lovely view from our room. The pool had plenty of room to sit or lie around and was beautifully clean. The rooms are old and tired inside for an $800/ night stay

Damon (9/5): Superb - Amazing location. Great pool - warm and clean. Great views. Comfortable rooms. Quiet nights. Family friendly. The ceiling fan in our master bedroom had a wobbly whirring noise that was so loud and annoying that the fan was unbearable to use when trying to sleep or rest. Fortunately, the air con in the room kept us cool overnight.
Paul (7/5): For the most part great, just a few minor issues - Good location and facilities. Comfortable and Port Douglas is a great holiday location. Reception was very helpful looking after requests and booking activities Maintenance not always on the ball. The BBQ ran out of gas and it took a couple of days to remedy. Some very noisy kids came in for the last few days even though it wasn’t school holidays and killed the peace and quiet.

Phil (8/5): Great location and facilities - The location was fantastic and overall the quality of the accomodation was fantastic There was no block out curtain in the the main living room, which meant we had no privacy in this space. There was a very spickey plant near the sliding door in the main living room which was extremely annoying and dangerous.

Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Close proximity to all facilities, no car required. Everything was organised for us, tours, transfers & local advice. Also a very special touch from the staff at beaches, who noted I mentioned it was my partner’s birthday, when inquiring about restaurants…..a bottle of bubbly on arrival!

Chelsea (2/5): Very poor - The closeness to the town centre The accommodation was not what we paid for. The furniture was broken cheap and old. Bathrooms were run down. Bed linen was dirty. The paintwork was chipped and patchy.

Susan (9/5): Great stay in perfect location. - Wonderful location very very close to the beach . Possibly the best location of holiday accommodation in Port Douglas . You can view the beach and ocean from the pool area. The apartments are also a very short walk from the restaurants and shops in Macrossin St .
