• Jackie (8/5): Perfectly functional space and would not hesitate to stay here again - Manage your expectations and this will be a very comfortable and reasonably priced stay in Los Angeles. The apartment is the end bedroom and ensuite bathroom of a unit that has been blocked off with a wall/locked door separating it from the main unit. You have your own entrance (has screened door then main door), but it opens into the bathroom. Walking through the bathroom leads you into the spacious bedroom, large enough for two queen beds, a small kitchenette and desk/chair. If you have issues with walking through a bathroom to get to your bedroom, this place is not for you. Very central location with easy drive to most things. The Original Farmers Market at The Grove is just a mile or so away. Plentiful hot water with great water pressure for a lovely shower! Toiletries were provided, but we brought our own. Large fridge and microwave was clean, an electric kettle and Keurig provided for BYO coffee/tea prep. Lots of storage for clothing etc. Beds were comfortable and appreciated the extra blankets when needed. Neighbors all very quiet and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Parking pass provided, but BE CAREFUL where you park as not everywhere is valid and you will get a parking ticket! The building is older so guests should open windows/door when home to ventilate a cross breeze to get rid of any musty smells accumulated in the closed up room. After our first day, this was all fine. Pillows there really need replacing, perhaps add pillow protectors to freshen up bed linens that could be contributing to slight odor in the room. Towels were clean, but had some stains. All the dishes, cups and glasses could do with a run through the dishwasher for a proper cleaning. I had to soak and scrub away some sticky sauce on a plate that looked like it wasn't previously washed and just placed back in the cabinet. No forks/spoons/knives provided. Shower knob was hard to pull but not impossible, but could be more difficult for other guests. It would be nice if the curtain above the owner's locked door could be finished properly with drywall for more privacy (even though we never heard anyone on the other side of the door). However, none of the above made our stay any less comfortable.

• Linda (1/5): We didn’t spend time there we left the property after ten minutes when we saw this entrance… we cant deal with this situ - I don’t like anything there!!! The entrance is a bathroom with toilet behind the main door if you use it you can’t open the door for anyone!!! And a bath tube facing you when you open the main door directly!!! Very weird unit that you can’t see something similar in the world!!!!!
• Inna (3/5): I would not recommend this place, unfortunately. - The location is good. This is all what was good about it. The location of the apartment was very good. That was the only good thing about this accommodation. The place itself was old. The entrance to the apartment was very strange because it started with the bathroom. In other words, as soon as you open the door and enter the apartment, you immediately see the toilet and bathtub. This was very inconvenient, especially because I was staying with my business partner, and it created many uncomfortable situations — for example, when one of us needed to use the bathroom and the other had to leave the apartment. It was also difficult to access the place because there was a coded lock that opened and closed in a very specific way. But the worst part was the towels — they were extremely dirty and smelled terrible. The windows were also dirty, and overall the apartment was not clean at all. The photos do not reflect reality — the place does not look like it does in the pictures.

• Luciana (7/5): The place was fine and was a backup find after our original plans had to change. - - It was clean. - There was AC to cool down the room when it was really hot outside. - The location was fairly central with frequent East/West buses. - The front door made an awful sound whenever it opened all the way (it rubs on the floor in a nails-on-the-chalkboard kind of way). - There was no cutlery in the kitchenette supplies which was unfortunate as we had gotten take-out one of the days. - Fan switch in the bathroom didn't work. - The headboards don't seem like they are properly attached to the beds and they sway a lot if you are leaning on them at all. - the conditioner pump was clogged - blinds don't work on both bedroom windows and the curtains they have over them don't cover the entire windows.
