• sharma (2/5): - Unfortunately, my experience was very poor. The shower was broken, the house was not clean upon arrival, and the pool was dirty and poorly maintained. These issues significantly affected our stay and did not justify the price. I hope the management improves maintenance and cleanliness for future guests.

The only downside was the sensor light down the side right at the bedroom window. It kept going off all night and was incredibly bright. Either turning this off or having black out curtains on the bedroom would fix this.

• Syahirah (10/5): Awesome stay for our family trip! - We had an amazing stay at this property! Firstly, thanks to the owner Kanchan for answering all my questions about the property before our stay. They were very helpful and friendly, and were available to assist us in any questions we had (we seriously asked a lot of questions :D). The property itself is self-check in, we arrived late at 10pm and had no problem accessing the property. The property was cozy and clean, and equipped with various facilities (iron, washing machine, toiletries, towels, condiments, kitchen utensils, hairdryer). Beds were very comfy and room sizes were just enough for our family. The patio outside is a great place to hang out. There's also a pool but we didn't manage to swim. There was no problem in parking as we can park anywhere on the street. We definitely enjoyed our stay, will repeat when we visit Sydney again. Thank you! We don't have much complaints. Maybe the pool can be a bit cleaner as we saw some dirt and leaves in the water. The common area is a bit small, would love if you could put a bigger table. The location is about 40 mins away from CBD but it wasn't that much of an issue for us. The access of the property's entrance is narrow and dark, I suggest to replace the gravel and rocks of the pathway so it's easier for us to pull our luggages instead of carrying them. Overall, just minor things but nothing much really.
• Wendy (2/5): Not acceptable - Location Everything. Very old and tired. Access is scary down the side of the house. It is advertised as a "Retreat". All I wanted to do was retreat. The bathroom is a health hazard. Shower was a small triangle with a shortish shower curtain. No room for a bigger person. No bathmat provided. Water went everywhere. Bathroom sink did not drain. They kindly left a plumber's plunger for us to use. Then there was the smell of mould and disgustingly mouldy grout. No bedsie lamps. Very harsh overhead lighting. The terrace was third world.
• Nancye Faavae (8/5): Over all beautiful stay. Wished we used the pool however was still a bit cold. - Location is great, very cosy and cute. The entrance to the back was tricky. Had 2 big suitcases thought I could wheel it through however couldn’t due to the stones and gravel. Also had a small rubbish bin would have liked a bigger 1 as we had kids with us.

• Helen (4/5): Underwhelmed. - It’s location to family. The property was mainly clean. The entryway was dangerous to navigate, with stepping stones and pebbles and an overhanging hedge. This made it difficult to carry luggage in. The property is small and confined and doesn’t have adequate bench space in the kitchen, toilet shower area and one of the bedrooms. The pool was not clean, didn’t look inviting.

• Antonet (7/5): Quiet location, close to shops - Quiet location. Outdoor sitting area. Close to shops & restaurants. The living room was too congested. Not ideal for a family. No lounge to relax. Basic items like paper towels.laundry powder. Facial tissues were not available. The bathroom was small.

• Zoe (4/5): It was ok for how quick we needed it and location was good. But we’re big on cleanliness and this stay definitely didn’t - I liked the location of it. It was helpful to have it close to where we needed to go. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Host helped with any questions we had, nice people. The walk to the actual house from the lawn was quite far, can get dark at night if motion sensor lights haven’t turned on and difficult to navigate with luggage bags. It’s a small space so must just keep in mind. Cleanliness could be improved. Found dirty cups with stains as well as stains on pillows. The bathroom had a bad smell that goes off only when you shower.

As soon as we turn on exhaust fan the whole house fills with bad smell of gutter Swimming pool was advertised but was very dirty so couldn't swim

• Petecheryl2929 (9/5): Sydney villa stay - Absolutely lovely place to stay and would definitely recommend, great location 👍 especially when it comes to the metro be very useful for travel into Sydney harbour. The swimming pool did have a lot of dirt at the bottom which discouraged me wanted to enter it, I think due to end of season it would have been cleaned at a later date, but definitely no cleaning it within our stay.

• Michael (6/5): It was neat and tidy and cheap. - It was neat and tidy, and great value for money. I didn't like that their was o tea bags. Wanted to use the swimming pool on Thursday, when it was 30%, they had not cleaned it, said they were just about to but that was a lie. Still hadn't cleaned it on Friday , eventually cleaned it Friday night at 9pm, we were checking out the day after, so never got to use it.

• Timmy (10/5): Exceptional - The owners of the property were friendly and professional, and had even pre heated the room for us prior to our arrival given the cold weather. The furnishings were comfortable and modern. The hot water ran out after just 15 minutes.

The accommodation was a granny flat so the main living area was a little small for 4 adults. However, we were out and about from early morning to late at night, so it was sufficient for our purpose.

• Richard (10/5): Too good for a single night stay. Exceptional and worth spending a week and longer in Sydney. - The hosts indicated to be of loving-kindness. Everything was clean and arranged with care. To be quite honest, I was absolutely surprised by the carefully arranged and with foresight prepared flat. Arrival at the address was after 9 pm - which was indicated to be the latest arrival time - so there was nobody there. After I almost left on foot, as nobody opened the door, my inquisitiveness got the better of me, and I went in search around the back of the house, which led me to the apartment. The door was open, and I was relieved to find my bed. The owners could have left a note on my mobile.

Beds not made I had to find be quilts and covers and put together. Shower head taped up and floppy, I had to get screwdriver to tighten. It's a granny flat at the back of a house and gardens all overgrown, weeds, cracked tiles. Stove top not clean. Shower mouldy in places, microwave one broken support, off centre. Bathroom cabinet water damage. It was for one night, so we just managed. Took lots of photos, but can only upload 4.
