• John (8/5): A cosy apartment, fantastic host and easy to travel to the city centre. - This is a really cosy and functional apartment, and Manolis is a fantastic host - he was super helpful and really good at communicating in the lead up the holiday. It is a little bit out of the way of the centre of Athens, and the surrounding area isn't necessarily the most scenic. But it is easy to get a bus or train into town!
• Cindy (9/5): Recommend this apartment! - The apartment was really great. Conveniently located. Easy walk to all of the sites and fun restaurants and bars. Manolis was lovely and full of good recommendations, assistance and the wonderful offer of assistance should we encounter dire straits!! I recommend this apartment if you like walking around to explore and want an interesting, unique neighbourhood. Some little things could really help though. Shampoo and conditioner. More than 2 rolls of toilet paper and more than 2 coffee pods for 4 nights.

• Gary (10/5): very cool apt in every way, one of the best of the many cities I have stayed in. - Perfect location, cool apartment in design, decoration, facilities like water filter, excellent lighting. and it was cool at 35C without air conditioning....and quiet at night it was just excellent, nothing I didn't like (and I am very particular).

Host was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I struggle to find anything I didn't like. But, large dinner plates and a couple more pots for cooking would be helpful.

• Daniela (9/5): Superb - The host was very kind and he gave us tips for our stay. The apartment was clean, well equipped and perfect for 2 people. The check in and check out was also very easy. There are several bus stops near the apartment. It takes around 20 minutes by bus to the Syntagma Square or Monastiraki Square.
• Peter (8/5): I enjoyed my stay and would certainly consider coming back a next time. - The appartment is in a nice older neighboorhood of Athens not far away from Athens city centre and all the places to visit (Plaka, Akropolis, Syntagma Square, musea, etc.). The excellent care of caretaker Manolis made the stay in the appartment comfortable. He especially came to the appartment when I was late on arrival day, to still personally hand me the keys and give me the needed information about the appartment. Also the excellent information by Manolis about good places to go in the immediate neighboorhood of the appartment, like an excellent cheap restaurant, coffeehouses and a supermarket nearby. Pleasant was also that allthough Manolis was not living in the building itself, he is working nearby during working hours and was allways easily reachable for questions by use of Whatsapp. The appartment has quite a modern electrical wiring and my advice is first of all to pay extra good attention to Manolis' his instructions on how to use it on arrival, especially where it concerns how to get hot water for your showers (you need to activate the boiler beforehand) and how to activate the heating when the appartment gets colder. My advice for Manolis is to also leave a written "hot water and heating" instruction in the appartment. Further the TV now predominantly tunes in to Greek talking networks (a lot of Greek talking heads) and could do with some more internationally oriented networks that also show something else then talking heads (music, docs on Greece, series) in languages that foreigners can understand as well.

• Thomas (8/5): This is a very comfortable apartment for a short or long stay. - It was very well equipped; pots, pans, silverware, sharp knives, corkscrew, ice…. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper. The apartment had good heating and the internet was fast. The location is very good and was exactly where we wanted to be. not really my color scheme and I did not like that orange/black rug.

• David (9/5): a new apartment on booking, would be perfect with few additional equipment. - Clean, large enough for 2 guests, washing machine. The owner is great. Equipment of the kitchen would need some improvements for those who want to cook: very little ustentile, no microwave, no large spoon, no bowl... large towels would also be great.
• Caitlin (7/5): We grew fond of this wee place! - Great location, just over a small hill from Exarachia. Very friendly host who provided complimentary fruit juice and wine. (There is also coffee, fruit tea, sugar and ice cubes). He also kindly let us store our bags after checkout. Well connected on multiple bus routes. The decor was not to our taste, the living room could've been more comfortable (a second couch perhaps?) and the bedroom is very dark.
