- Vytautas (10/5): -
- Kristal (1/5): No recommend - Nothing The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Imagine arriving in a foreign country, unable to find the hotel due to unclear instructions, with no one answering the phone and no response to messages for over two hours—leaving me waiting outside in the cold.
When I finally got into the property, I found only cold water in the shower, with no instructions on how to reset the boiler. The sink and shower were dirty and clearly not cleaned.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with accommodation.
- Sharma (10/5): - Location Wifi was not working but we had data so no issues... Overall excellent
- Samuel (4/5): No fixed parking available - Relatively close to the city centre about 40 min away. The place was cleaned properly and we got clean towels as well No fixed parking available. Just after long conversations with the owner they gave us an address to park which was a private parking and they wanted to tow our car away the next morning. No wifi available either in the flat.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (8/5): Very good - I booked very last minute (at 15:00 the day of arrival) but the host was very forthcoming, and within 1 hour after booking I had to key and was in the flat. The flat was clean and spacious, perfect for a week in London. The view is amazing, especially at night. Would stay again. no wifi
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Euan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (7/5): Good -
- Caleb (8/5): Pretty decent overall, some issues but nothing too offensive. - The place location is pretty nice with a very nice view even for the ground floor, the beds were decent and the place over was decently clean and a pretty good price overall. One of the stools was broken when me and my friends got there and needs replacing, the left sink clogs for some reason and takes a long time to clear, some of the light flicker when turning them on.
- Evgeny (1/5): Filthy and dirty place with bad management - Nothing to like here honestly We received a message from the property that the key in s lock box and that we should call if something is wrong.
When we arrived the whole place was a mess (it wasnt cleaned at all). The phone was unreachable. We were forced to go to the nearest hotel snd book s place there. Nobody contacted us since. After I raised a disput on booking - booking told us the cannot contact the property either.
- Brar (4/5): Disappointing -
- Hannah (5/5): Overall a safe, comfortable and quiet stay but needs improvements to make it re-bookable. 3/5 - The apartment was perfectly located right next to the venue of our conference (Hilton Hotel) and was nice to be so close to the river with a view of the Canary Wharf skyline. The apartment itself was comfortable and quiet, two things which were important to our stay but several things could be improved (see below).
Overall it was a safe, comfortable and quiet stay and as a one off it was ok, but certainly wasn’t at a level that would make us book again. It could be a 5* place but I would only give it 3 on this occasion. Directions to the apartment were good until we got off the ferry at the Hilton hotel. More instructions about how to get from the hotel to the flat and which key safe to use would have been helpful. Google maps was unhelpful.
A number of light bulbs weren’t working.
The main issue was that the 1/2 sink in the kitchen was blocked with black dirty water, which smelled. The manager was told but it wasn’t fixed during our stay.
The washing machine was also on on we arrived with towels inside.
The washing up sponge was used and dirty, when we expected to see a brand new one for us to use. Luckily I had brought my own.
Whilst there is a good amount of cooking utensils, I would suggest the owner provides a new set of cooking knives as there were two very lame knives which are actually really dangerous to use as they bend when you try to cut with them. Some of the other utensils like the veg peeler needed a good clean so we avoided using them.
The curtains in the bedrooms and lounge are a bit disconcerting, unsure whether people from the outside can see in or not. Some thicker curtains or adding blinds would improve this.
The stool seats at the kitchen table were very wobbly. Unsure whether that was part of the design or not, but maybe some new ones might be good.
There was also no welcome, instructions on how to use things, or switches labeled in the kitchen so it was all a bit of trial and error.
There is also lots of unopened post which doesn’t give a very good impression.
Again, overall the apartment was good, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay more than our two nights, and wouldn't rebook based on this stay. I hope improvements are made for future guests!
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (9/5): Leisurely stay - The view and the location That there was lack of communication regarding parking and the bed wasn't comfortable. However was resolved. No plug in bath.
- Tracy (7/5): Cozy apartment on good bus route into city - The contact with Host was good and responsive. The view across Thames to Canary Wharf was beautiful especially at this time of year with all the Christmas decorations, good watching the party boats going up/down river. The bus route is great - really easy to use and on the doorstep. Good local independent shop just on street near Bus stop is well stocked and friendly. The area is clean, tidy and as 3 lady travelers felt safe. Quiet neighborhood, was never disturbed. The wifi signal is very hit and miss, when we reached out to the host, they quickly responded - believe it was an external issue. The Docklands ferry across to Canary Wharf we felt was a little on the steep side to say its a quick 2 minute journey (nothing host can do about this!) hence why we used the Buses much cheaper and good access to & from city. A small welcome pack of Tea, Coffee and sugar would be a nice touch ! Lucky we had taken some with us.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Really lovely location and good apartment. Easy to catch ferry to Canary Wharf and underground there -
- Pui (8/5): Nice and will recommend - With free parking space! Well equipped kitchen! The mattress is too soft for me
- Finbarr (8/5): Very good -
- Livjan (9/5): Superb - The location was great. The view was breathtaking. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Everything was okay. But missing the internet connection - wifi. The previous guest had disconnected the routee and I couldn't connect to the internet
- Michael (6/5): Excellent location. Some cleaning improvements needed. - Location was excellent for Canary Wharf via ferry. Secure parking was also a great benefit. Even late night journey back from the west end was east with good bus service from Canada Water. Very quiet location. Lacked privacy from dog walkers and joggers running by just outside. Kitchen sink waste disposal was blocked. Bin in bathroom was not emptied after previous occupant. Bathroom mirror not properly cleaned. No teaspoons.
- Mythreyee (9/5): Brilliant stay! Convenient, clean and comfortable. Would come back anytime! - Lovely flat. Squeaky clean. Great view of the Thames from the living room. Quiet location. Very convenient to have a washer dryer and a full kitchen available. Very comfortable stay for 4 of us. Extra pillows and duvet covers etc were available. Lots of cross-ventilation ensured we stayed cool at night and slept really well, despite day time temps of 32-34 deg C. This would have very easily been a 10/10 booking but for some shortcomings such as wifi issues and a lightbulb not working that could have been dealt with in a timely manner. But the manager went above and beyond and apologized and gave us a complimentary night stay for our troubles, which was much appreciated.
- Jayne (9/5): Lovely apartment..Ross was very helpful ..the view and access to river taxis nearby made for a perfect break . - The view from the property was amazing overlooking the Thames with access to river taxis nearby. The area while being convenient for everything was quieter and felt safe for my 12-year-old grandson. The mattress in the second bedroom needs replacing..it was so hard that it was impossible to sleep on .
